I had a friend take her car there 5 different times for the same issue. We tried to explain the situation and he always was trying to sell something else and keep charging her, she spent 4 thousand dollars trying to get this fixed and finally the last time she dropped it off she left the car for 2 days and wasnt even looked at and parked in some back lot and they didnt even know where it was. The guy had always been nice and she had been going for years but after this never again.

Everyone here was great. I needed some small welds done on my exhaust. They had me in and out in well under an hour. Fair price, excellent job. They even added an extra exhaust hanger I was missing.

By far the best service. I am one of those hard headed type of guys who try to fix everything myself. But unfortunately changing the ball joints on a Explorer was proven to me more difficult with out a lift to get under the car properly. Took it to D&D and spoke with the owner Javier and he made me a good deal. Since it was last minute taking the SUV in due to my part, I was expecting to get the vehicle back for at least 3 - 4 days. But man what service, I got the SUV back within 2 days. They have earn my future business for any more major work, that I can not do.

Would of given 5 if they had a restrooms but over all they seemed efficientl and didnt steal anything from the truck. Didnt go above and beyond like other shops but they do use best parts for your vehicle which other shops do not do so overall a good place to have your car looked at. Beware very tight spot to drive since there is no driveway or parking spots.

If you’re looking for an honest, good mechanic, this is your place to go! I dropped of my truck for an air bank issue. I read online that people were paying up to $1,800 for this issue to get fixed. He quickly diagnosed my truck, gave me multiple options and recommendations for the repair, and was mindful of my budget. Once I asked Javier and his team to do the repair and an oil change (2011 Tundra V8), I was out the door for a third of that. The truck is running better than it was before it broke down. I’ll definitely be back.

Just moved to the area had seen this shop driving by a couple of times. Ir came time to get an oil change and decided to try them out. Very impressed friendly helpful got me right in. I use a different fully synthetic oil then the brand they use. They told me about the product and gave me brochures on it was very happy with it. So far vey impressed and will return.

Timely, communicative, efficient. Moreover, these guys dont rip me off. Synthetic oil change is $50 and they always keep a good, objective eye on my car. Going back today to have some maintenance scheduled so that my 2002 Subaru drives on forever, lol. Still strong at 180,000 mi.! Couldnt do it without these guys.

Recently had alternator in wife’s car go out & DD repaired free of charge. It was under warranty but did not get charged for ANYTHING!! No labor or paperwork fees! Very honest shop! Highly recommend this shop!!

The 4.8 stars are no joke...they have that rating for a reason. I called them on Wednesday about doing a custom exhaust (true dual) on my 2017 z71. I dropped it off on Thursday noon and it was finished by 4pm. Perfect job...spunds great...looks great and at literally 1/2 the price as other places with the exact same set-up. Javier was extremely professional and honest. Ill defiantly refer family and friends there.

Not the easiest place to find but a great hidden gem. The shop is actually in the back half of the property.Dropped the car off first thing for an exhaust leak expecting to spend hundreds. By the end of the day Javier called to say it was ready. When I got there Javier was very friendly and upfront. I felt he genuinely cares more about doing whats right than making a buck. He charged me a very reasonable fee for the work and I was on my way sounding as good as new. Quality looking work and very clean welds. Would certainly go back.

By far the nicest and most honest mechanic I have experienced! The light on my car came on noting a problem with the cadylidic converter. I had an appointment with the dealer for a $350 diagnostic but decided to get a mechanic to look at it first. They got me in right away and did the diagnostic for free. Turns out it was just that my gas cap was lose causing the light to come on. They were so helpful, kind, and honest, and I was done within 10 minutes. I will be using them for all of our vehicles from now on.

The most honest and reliable shop I have ever done business with! When I moved to Texas last year Javier came highly recommended by one of my new neighbors. My car had a number of problems that eluded many of the well known shops in NJ including the local Ford dealer (its a mustang). I took it to Javier once and the problem never came back. His prices are always reasonable and I just have peace of mind knowing that when I take one of my vehicles to him I wont get ripped off. His shop is small and tucked away like a best kept secret. I went in there today since my car had unfortunately gotten its catalytic converter cut off while at work. Javier was very knowledgeable and not only did he get me a quote and called back within minutes to bring my car there. I took it there expecting to come back and get my car in a day or so. So you could imagine as to my surprise when I got a call within an hr and a half they had finished it and my car was ready!!!! He also did a diagnostic check for my girlfriends car for her beck engine light we found out it was just due to an old gas cap.I’m gonna be referring all of my friends and family here! Honest people, that won’t give you the run around and very affordable. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Because I usually take my car into dealerships to get them fixed, I was hesitant to use any other place for this repair. My air conditioning went out on my 2011 Chevrolet Aveo and I knew that, in this instance, a dealership would be charging me too much (additionally, if a mechanic screwed up my AC, it shouldnt effect the engine too much).I had driven past both D&D Automotive and the other mechanics in this area and they all highlight that they fix AC. I read the other reviews online and D&D had, by far and away, the highest reviews and the most positive feedback.After taking my car into D&D automotive on 6/3/16 and speaking with Javier, he said that would take a look and hopefully diagnose the issue. While the outcome is that I needed a new condenser unit for my car, Javier and his team made sure to do a thourough and exhaustive job of making sure every avenue was explored to determine the issue (I know this, because I stood in the garage and watched him and his mechanics work on my car - a bonus for a younger car guy like myself).While I didnt have him put in a new condenser (I needed to budget for such an expense), his professional attitude, his hard work ethic, his other mechanics friendly and helpful manner and the ability to accurately diagnose the problem, will definitely have me returning to his shop in the future!

Installed headers on my truck, brought the truck here to get a full exhaust welded up. I brought mufflers and the catalytic converter. There is only one O2 sensor reading a catalytic converter so only one is really needed to not have problems... i got a call back ONE HOUR AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES LATER for someone to tell me they cant do it because there is only one catalytic converter supplied by me. I drove up there, explained to him why it wont hurt it, and he agreed to doing it, but told me to bring it back a different day when he told me before i left the first time that it would be done around 4 o’clock. He said he had other things going on, even though my truck had already been there, and they probably wouldnt have started it until after then anyway. Thats not very good customer service if you ask me. Also when i pulled up, another customer pulled up and complained that the exhaust work they had done there had a hanger that broke and messed up the floor of his car! On top of that, Javier acted like he didnt want to deal with me, acted like he was ignoring me sometimes, and just flat out seemed like he did not want to do the job i was willing to pay 325 dollars for. I got another shop doing it for me with NO HASSLE for 250!
