We have had reverse osmosis for 6+ years. The annual filter change and service has always been around $120 total. Out of no where we get this insane $222+ bill. No warning, no heads up the rates have doubled. I understand costs go up - but not double without notifying customers in advance so we can make an educated decision who to source the work to.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with the Kendallville office!! Sherry called me right after I submitted an online form and she patiently explained all of my options. She faxed me the contract and then called to let me know about the delivery. Sherry also helped me adjust the delivery schedule when I realized that we wouldn’t use as much water as I’d thought we would. The dispenser is light enough for me to move and having clean, good tasting water (instead of the well water) has made a huge difference in how much I drink and I’m happy that I’m not adding plastic containers to the landfills or recycling centers. Call and talk with Sherry - she’s the BEST!!

All around a wonderful experience from consultation to install.

Ive struggled with a strong iron content in my well water for several years. After deciding to get a professional system and analyzing several different options, I chose Culligan and I couldnt be happier. Dave, the sales person, thoroughly went over the choices and how each component worked together, helping me build the best system for my situation, and Jason, the installer, did a superb job. The installed system has removed ALL of the iron from my water. YAY!

I purchased a home with rented equipment and decided to purchase the equipment. I felt that once I made that decision, Culligan had no interest in educating me on the system (reverse osmosis and water softener) and washed their hands of me. They also entered my home without anyone there after requesting someone be present because they had the garage code from the previous owner. Lack of communication.

Wonderful experience with Culligan Water Softener. The campground equipment has improved does so much better than mine at home . Service is great, they go out of their way to get my tank to me this year.

Good system overall, but: 1) our RO handle was installed upside down and 2) no water test was offered post install. The tech did do one after I requested it.

As in any field there are Pretenders in the drinking water and water softening world, we have been a customer of Culligan since 2008 in large part because they just get better as we learn more about their products and become more consistent at providing the things needed for the Culligan equipment to do its job. it isnt always a guarentee that getting to know a company more and more results in a deeper satisfaction, but with this company it happens!

You called day before servicing to let us know you would be here to service our conditioner. we told you we would not be home on the day you were to come BUT TO GO IN AND SERVICE CONDITIONER ANYWAY. when we returned the salt was on our front porch and my husband who needs a cane to get around had to go to the crawl space himself. Not happy. the reason we subscribed to this program in the first place was because our age and physical condition makes iit not feasible for us to take care of this type of thing.

Culligan water at one time was loyal to there customers and there employees. Now with the new owner Steve Gipson its starting become one of the worse cons in the water industry. There salesman are telling customers that there reverse osmosis will prevent or cure cancers. They are also trying to scare people into buying there system by telling them that they have nitrates or other thing in there water when they dont. They charge outstanding fees for salt and water. They try to teach there service techs to get the most money they can out of the customer for every service call they go on. They tell there salesman to always test the kitchen cold water because most of the time the kitchen is on hard water for drinking and cooking so then they can say that there water softener doesnt work . This is bad business and for some one like me that loves the water industry could no longer work for a company like this so I branched out on my own for now. I will probably start my own water softener company in about one year from now because I signed a no compete form with Culligan and they are really mad that I left them. And they have even threatened me that they would sue me lol How pathetic is that. There are still many good water softener companys out there that are good and loyal to there customers if you need one ask me I will refer you to a good one. The owner had several people hurt them selfs on the job the owner never called one person asked how they where doing. Also another employee that died the owner Steve Gibson didnt even go to his own employees funeral. Now I could understand that if it was a huge business. But it is not it is a small business. The day that people at Culligan found out that he died the service department was devastated. The owner and his salesman Kurt sells was only worried about one thing and one thing only and that was getting unit in that morning. Thats when I really found out what kind of owner he was. Now that I posted I am sure Steve and his salesman will lie about me probably say I am a disgruntled employee but thats who these people are and thats what they do. They lie and there the best at it. I like that I can go there anytime I want and fill up my water bottles. And also its reverse osmosis water. Its exactly what I need for my saltwater tank as well. Besides drinking.
