We always find what we came for, and more. The staff are always helpful and polite. A shining gem in the heart of Kennebunk that will sorely missed when they move.

What a great store for someone who loves crafts!

This is a hat in a painting(German 1400) from the National Gallery of Art. Some how there was a challenge issued.Camp Wool was so helpful not just providing fabric, but discussing techniques, properties of wool and how they are defined. One of THE BEST suppliers of wool I have seen. This is not just for rugs and other needle crafts but clothing and historic costuming. They deserve more than the 5 star rating. They also have interesting small antique/vintage items. Love, LOVE this store.Thank you Camp Wool.

Wow! This place was amazing. Plan to spend a long time in this shop, because it is chocked full of great patterns and high quality wool. They also have fun embellishments, some quilting fabric, great cross stitch supplies and patterns, and some antiques. The staff was fun and friendly.

Great shop for wool punching and they have lots of cross stitching patterns and kits as well as all sorts of flosses and embellishments that are absolutely wonderful! There really is no yarn to speak of. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable! Dont miss it if you are in the area!

Hands down the best place for needle and hooking needs around. Tremendous selection of materials, supplies, ideas, and patterns. The best part about Camp Wool is the staff-very knowledgeable and willing to share their skills with customers. I just wish it was closer to me, but I dont mind the long drive with the crazy summer traffic because its always so worth the trip!

I was overjoyed to discover this shop on my recent vacation! Its bursting with every color and texture of wool imaginable, as well as scads of patterns from many sources. I especially appreciated having so many choices of pre-cut wool to choose from, and the walls covered in completed projects was truly inspiring! Felt like a kid in a candy shop, trying to decide where to look next!

Camp Wool has such great penny rug patterns and great assortment. Also ideas on how to apply them in ways such as putting the on slates, barn boards and many other ideas .
