I was on a business trip and someone recommended I stop here before heading to airport which was only 10 min away. This place didn’t disappoint. I got the shrimp and okra plate. And it came with chicken. Garlic bread. Salad. Drink and a freshly made donut that melts in your mouth for $12.99!!!! I’m still dreaming about this good food days later. Just now there’s no dining so I ate in my car. But 5 stars for food.

This place has very good food, and a lot of options to say that it is a donut shop. You can go here and get everything from breakfast to dinner, and of course donuts. They have very interesting donuts, such as king cake donuts and banana pudding donuts. As far as the food, you can get things like breakfast of course, stuffed bell peppers, chicken fried steaks, red beans and rice, hamburgers and po boys, seafood sandwiches and meals, etc. And everything is very delicious! Now the downside is, the visit can be very ratchet. Lots of youngsters come here from clubbing which to some can be perceived as an unsafe environment. And the staff can appear to be unpleasant at times. Even though I had a great experience with the staff, I believe their rough exterior presence and attitude stems from the wild crowd of youngsters, that probably come in high from drinking and drug usage, therefore the staff have to appear to be rough and tough. Other than that the food is amazing and the options are plentiful! Major kudos on the food!

Always a wait, and always worth it. Fantastic selection of specialty donuts. Good sliders, and theyll even make burgers with donuts as buns if you ask them to. Most diverse crowd of customers youll see of any donut shop in NOLA.

I ask her if that was my krystal burger order and she said in a rude tone...I dont no, whats your number.Than when she called out a number, a customer ask her if the order was such and such, and in a rude tone of voice, she said to him, I dont no im not a mind ready!She is very unprofessional and rude to all her customers. Without your customers you wouldnt be opened!I would like all my family and friends to not patronize this location intill the staff members at this location..have an attitude check!

Disappointed. They were very busy, apparently because people know how good it is. But I waited 30 minutes and had to ask, three times for my order. I had to pay upfront, and they posted that they dont give refunds. Made me late to work. Seems everyone else received their order in short time, I have to suppose my order just fell through the cracks. The sandwich was okay. I wanted a breakfast burrito, but was told they didnt have anymore. The sandwich wasnt anything more than what I make myself at home. I will give them another chance if I stay in the area.

Best donuts youll find in the New Orleans area. 24 hours as well and they always have hot, fresh glazed, ready to go. Great selection and tons of actual food as well. I recommend their cinnamon roll and the buttermilk cake donut.

There are no better places to get fresh hot donuts than this Tastee Donuts location. The Kenner location always has the best customer service and fresh donuts every time I go to Kenner. I stop in once a month from across the lake and get my little neighbors their favorite donuts and I never fail to get fresh m&m chocolate covered donuts for them. My philosophy is the dough makes the donuts. THATS what makes this Tastee so incredibly good! But do NOT think all Tastee Restaurants are the same. This is the BEST donut shop Ive ever been to. The food was pretty good today because sometimes its not! Service was slow and horrible as usual. Cashier seemed inexperienced, bossy, and rude. The cooks seemed pretty nice. They advertise everywhere that a donut comes with every meal yet and still it takes a act of Congress to get one. The employees actually look at you crazy when you ask for one. This is my 4th visit and the first time actually getting one with my meal and thats after asking 3 times. The customers around me encountered the samething. We were all curious to why it was so hard to get the free donut. This place will be a lot better if they would get a better staff and become more organized.

Only in New Orleans can you find a donut shop with a full restaurant menu. I only bought some really good buttermilk drops, but I was tempted to get more.

What more can I say! This place serves pretty much any dish you can think of. Jus check out the menue. The breakfast was SLAMMIN! They also offer turkey bacon and turkey sausage, which is rare for a small place like this. I MOST DEFINITELY will be back anytime im in town.

One of the people there had an attitude like she had better things to do and only care about her salary. I came here over a year ago, and didn’t like the donuts very much then. I just came again, and they still don’t taste that great. The only reason I didn’t give this one star instead is because the other person was nice to me and even helped me.

Heard about Tastee Restaurant while visiting New Orleans and decided to try it. Very tasty breakfast poboy and donuts. This place could benefit from some customer service training, but the locals dont seem to mind. I visited on a Sunday morning and the place was crowded - they have good food.

Edit : Visited again 3 months later! Got the same thing as last time, a kastle burger combo with 3 sliders, drink, fries and donut. All of it was amazing and fresh. I got two additional donuts this time but havent ate them yet. Unfortunately this time the service was lacking, everyone seemed annoyed there were customers in the restaurant. Kinda sucks but food was great.I got the burger and donut combo and everything was great! The burgers are small like white castle and its your choice of donut minus maybe a few flavors? I cant remember but I got the banana Pudding Donut and it was amazing! I still cant stop talking about that donut. Servers were nice, prices were definitely reasonable. So many gourmet donuts, its mind blowing. Only down point is the parking, it can be very busy around there on the weekend. Hoping to visit again soon!

Good fresh donuts.....but the customer service was horrible she walk around like she didnt want to be there.I asked for a specific doughnut and she raised her voice telling me its wrong.So I showed her again and she got it. Then she didnt give me my whole order after she told me it was on the counter..... my fault for not double checking but hell I was the only customer in the store so I shouldve had my order right

Tastes donuts is the gem of Kenner in my opinion. Late night hot donuts southern cuisine that is really delicious. Not a fancy place but you can get a fried porkchop sandwich at any time day or night this has been one of my favorite spots for years. Warning if you go late at night especially thrusday thru Saturday there might be a lot of people and cooks dont do there best when there being slammed so keep your order small and simple during that time! Hot donuts when the red lights on at the top of the building. P.s. The servers have been there for years and will talk how they please to anyone dont be offended if there a little rude. In fact give them a tip it might make them a little nicer 😉.

Love this place. Food is awesome and staff is great. Owners bend ovr backwards to help the community. When hurricane hit they opened aftr even with no power around they fed 1st responders, n the community.

The food was good but my order was wrong and the lady that was taken the order was rude as hell. But the donut was the best part for me.

I love to stop in when Im going through Kenner. Not only do they have awesome, hot donuts but their other food options are fantastic. I absolutely love their catfish sliders. OMG, so good. I think my only complaint would be that their order window bcz of covid has been reduced to a small mouse hole and they cant hear you.

The gumbo is meaty and delicious, and the maple 🍩 is my favorite. Every time Im in town I must make a trip to Tastees!

I LOVE the food and donuts here! Everything is good. Ask for hot donuts and enjoy the wait. The sandwiches are great. My favorite is the etoufee, and fried shrimp. Believe me. This is definitely a spot that you want to get familiar with. They are open 24 hours a day. There is sometimes a small wait, but I say again, it is worth it.

The best location in the City (Kenner). I always get the Red Beans and Rice Plate with Chicken Wings. It is my favorite.For the past 5 years this place has not disappointed me. I have to have it when I visit, and I have literally driven from Pensacola FL to Kenner just to satisfy my craving.

The service was 20 plus minutes for 2 items to go (6 donuts and a small gumbo); there were 4 teenagers waiting and telephone call-in going on.

The women working there are rude and the place is not clean i usually go to the Metairie location but i thought Ill give this one a try better off going to the Metairie location.

This is my favorite food spot now whenever Im in the area. It use to be Chinese Kitchen but I done got burned out on them. Tastees have plenty foods to choose from and donuts too. & Its pretty good. Its not the best but I go there everytime Im in the area now.

The food is good but the service is horrible I called my order in 30 min ahead of time got there to pay and pick up had to wait 45 min in line and my food had been sitting on counter ready but I did not eat no cold food

I never got my order of bengets after waiting over half an hour. Had to leave to catch a flight. Cashier got into arguments with several customers and refused to acknowledge me when I walked up to ask the status of my order.

The food did not taste like it use too, I know I havent been here inna while but my mama, grandma and I really didnt like how the food taste had changed dramatically 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Every time I eat here the food quality is less and less. Over 2 Years the Flavors have gone from Great to Gross! For a $13 plate I expect to have REAL POTATOES & not Instant Boxed Potatoes. Be different if they were Delicious. Mine were Dust Dry & Flavorless. I had to Add Milk, Butter, & Seasoning Just To Eat It & Not Throw It Away! Everything Is Either Over or Under Seasoned. The bread was Burnt, Torn up & Inedible... Please Stick to the Donuts!!!
