Great sales corner for childrens clothing, and a nice selection of clothes that wont have your child wearing the same Walmart clothing at school as the 75%

I have shopped at JC Penney for years and usually get good bargains. Yesterday they were promoting a mystery sale, but you must have a coupon. The mystery was, where were the coupons? Nobody seemed to know where they could get a coupon and the staff wasnt helpful. And worst of all, they didnt seem to have their air conditioning on. It was at least 80+ degrees in there! All of us were sweating. No excuse for that. We have the third cheapest rates here in the Pacific Northwest in the United states. If you want us to shop, turn on the Air conditioning.

Always enjoy shopping here. Thankfully dressing rooms are open again. The only negatives are that there are not a many check out desks open and if you have a return, you have to go upstairs. No signage stating this. I waited in a long checkout line and when it was my turn, that is when they informed me.

Christine in returns had such a great attitude. Even though I had lots of questions and a difficult return. Excellent service. Also JCPENNY MANAGEMENT make sure theyre getting their second breaks!!!!

I think there ac is out. So hot i feel so bad for the employee having to deal with that. I couldnt last that long with masks on and some dingy small fans. Hopefully get there ac back up and running or shut the top deck down until its fixed. Cant believe someone allowed them to work in that kind of environment.

Love the place for shopping, even got my hair done which turned out good but very expensive. After paying $145 for a perm which I knew and but then getting charged $50 for a trim was quite excessive it was just a trim

Got some really good deals alot of sales going on now prices that Walmart wont beat.. Got way more than expected with all the sales they had very happy to have shopped here today.

JCPenney is always good as they sell quality items and always have some type of discount. Recommend

The staff is so friendly and helpful I had to come in 3 times to get work clothes and switch stuff as well as deal with a vulture and they rolled with each hurdle

I visited your store today to buy some new summer items after a large weight loss . I found several items and headed to the dressing room only to be told the dressing room is only available on Saturday snd Sunday due to the lack of custodial help. No apologies or niceties from the sales ladies who were standing there with nothing to do. I put the items back on the shelves and left without spending the $200 I was prepared to spend. So much for customer service!!!

Did you know they have a well stocked kitchen accessories and implement section here that is far better stocked than Macys? Well they do. Top name quality manufacturers too. Saved me on December 23 after a previously mentioned retailer dropped the ball on me.

I like but no is good credit. In the card. sometimes they dont send payments on time and blame people.

Busy today. Shopped Mens department. Prices are reasonable. Decent selection. Lots of sales. Check out was quick. I was surprised to see the amount of people at Columbia Center. Mask up & you should do fine.

Penneys has always been a nice store. The clothing is better made and nicer than say Kmart. Upto date styles. Also have a nice housewares dept. Not as expensive as Macys.

I dont think it will be long before they close this store. Inventory way low on clothing. No longer have the big name athletic shoes. Finding help was a challenge.

We went shopping for drapes. Customer service was outstanding the young mans name is konner. Your store need more young people like him he went beyond to make my parents happy. Which makes me happy

Only found one dressing room open on a holiday weekend

My mom is on a wheelchair and she want it to buy a lot of things for her grand kids since I have to wheel her around the store I couldnt keep anything that she wants to buy with me, so I ask the cashier if I can leave the boxes of shoes with her because mom want to buy more things, this lady said that she couldnt because of security reasons and I was like if I need to leave them here for now is because I cant carried anything with me and wheel around my mom too... not very flexible all booooooo!!!!!!!

In my top 5 favorite stores to buy from. However the covid restrictions make it very hard here. Parking is horrid, and the only entrances from the store are either in front or the mall entrance, which meant carrying things a long way. Also, no baskets were available so purchases all had to be carried. The check out areas were also closed, only 1 downstairs n 1 upstairs, and the 1 upstairs was also for returns so the line stretched for almost half the store. I was charged $17 for a shirt that had been on clearance for $1.99, but didnt have another hour to return n stand in line. And that wasnt the only pricing error they made. The gals were nice enough at the register, but still had to have a manager approve every markdown-which just made the sale take even longer...not sure if, in the end while taking all into consideration, that it was worth my time to shop there.

I havent shopped at JC Penneys for a couple of years. My son needed a suit for an upcoming event and I was certain he would find what he needed here. Unfortunately without the help we desperately needed as this was his first suit. I could find NO sales help or assistances, very disappointing and not what I have come to expect from JC Penney s.

After finding something I wanted to buy in a large collection of reduced price clothing, I wandered from cashier to cashier quickly realizing what with the long lines and single worker at each station I would never make it back to work in time. I left it hanging on a rack near the entrance with an already growing number of abandoned items. Having a large, attractive inventory is great. But reducing staff to the point it cant be sold, that sucks. Do better, JC.

They have a cleaner store than most mall department stores, but the prices are only good in the clearance or when stuff is on sale.

Too hot and crowded only 1 cashier top floor and bottom. they see the long lines and dont open up another cashier station. theres also no 6ft apart

Dont get me wrong, JCP is a good store in general. But when we went in for some slacks, everything in the mens department was a mess. Pants were on hangers that didnt match the size. The racks werent even remotely organized by size, and it was way more difficult than it should have been to find the size we wanted.No one approached us and offered any help when we were shopping. At check out the guy was nice, though.

Not much in my size I couldnt find at Ross for half the price. I found something for my 88 yo mom. No signs showing where check stands are located.

Their prices have been going up up up the quality of their clothing has been dropping. Trying to get someone to help you in that store is rough and theres long lines when you do get waited on and its not because of a lot of shoppers its because they dont have very many checkers open. parts of the store are hard to walk around in because they have too much stuff crammed into one place I used to shop at Pennys a lot but not much anymore

I like the quality of their clothes. You can get some good deals sometimes and great clearance prices. I was really disappointed though because they arent selling outdoor furniture like they have in the past. I hope they bring it back. I did buy a swimsuit cover up for ten dollars. The sales associates are always helpful.

Bought a couple shirts and socks and a few other things there. Have a pretty good clearance section with pretty good deals. Overall the store is nice and well organized. Not too hard to find what you want. Nothing worse than going in to a store and finding it completely disorganized ands a mess. JCPenney is always pretty good. One of the few places left you can get good suits.

In style was great! They were courteous, listened well, and very understanding. Definitely going to go back!

Customer service today was ok/good, but the store overall is looking dated; a bit shabby.JC Penney has never been a luxury dept store, but it used to be pleasant with high end goods and polished employees.Seems it is heading the way of Kmart & Sears - fading away.

The dont sell stuff for fat people that may need a six plus but they where nice to tell use where to go and get plus size close if they sold mor plus size close I would shop there more often.

Sales galore. Each fall my mother would take me to JCP for new school clothes. Now I go every spring. Great selection and prices. A fresh pair of shorts each time for a year round shorts dude. They are allot like me, a little different.

It would be nice if customer service wouldnt take returns personally. I had a black haired guy just keep complaining about it, and handed me my cash back very rudely. He sighed the whole entire time and made me feel uncomfortable about it, as if I was a criminal.

Friendly staffing and fair clearance prices. Their plus size selection leaves much to be desired.Also the big and tall for men doesnt have much of selection.

Took my two younger kids for updated yearly pictures. Claudia was our photographer and she did a great job. She was patient when my youngest was wiggly and moving from the location requested even though set several times. She redid pictures to Capture the full smile instead of the fake/forced smile. She knew to wait to take the shot until after they laugh with their mouths open than close into a nice smile. She was able to set them up in different stances without my direction with poses that looked adorable and when I had some suggestions of poses I wanted or have really liked the made a good effort to achieve that look. When done she was thoughtful and set up the video for my kids to watch while we discussed the pictures and what to order. Overall Im very happy.

The appliance department gave us amazing customer service I have never experienced customer service like that at any other appliance place in town. They truly have your best interest at heart and not trying to push you into a sale. They took their time explaining everything to us gave honest opinions helped us price match other places. It was a really personalized experience to say the least. Appliances are not what they use to be and niether is the sales market so I am so glad these guys take the consumer side and really help you out they are awesome!!!

Got everything we went for. Stuff was quite crowded maybe getting ready black Friday? Staff could be a bit more pleasant.

The construction at the elevator made getting to the 2nd floor a bit of a walk but the prices are great and its the only department store I can find nice and professional big and tall clothes for my guys. Also night 2 dresses for my daughter. Fabulous sale prices!
