Worst customer service experience of my life at this store today. I tried to return a $40 miniature swamp cooler because it didnt work out of the box and a bottle of unused, unneeded glass cleaner. I bought both same day, different receipts. I didnt have my paper copy, but the associate looked it up with my rewards account. Then, associate called, who Im guessing was front end manager, over because my debit card has changed since the purchases (about 30 days ago). The young gentleman immediately said they would not accept my return. He didnt say why or explain at all. I asked why, and for return policy. He yelled at me and told me to take my items and get out or hed call the cops. I asked to speak with store manager, who ended up saying that the cooler was out of their 30 day return window and that I cant return items that arent in new condition. I tried explaining that it didnt work, and I just got shut down. The store manager said they would return the cleaner for $3. I tried saying that I purchased both on the same day, but I just got berated and I ended up leaving in tears after telling the associates that I have been working hard on staying loyal to the smaller businesses around our area and that I cant believe I was being treated this way. The original manager took this as an insult and grabbed my items and told me to come here as in to follow him out of the store like a dog.

Good place to get the things you can do the best job you can

Nice to see so many happy customers. I on the other hand wonder how is it Im missing out on all the great helpful service. What I wonder also is with all the Home Depots and Lowes who send out an advertisement of sale items fully stocked but Ace seems to be depleted of their sales items within a day and no one has a clue if theyll be restocked even tho the sale still has a ways to go according to the advertisement. So of course its first come, first serve, fair enough, but seriously shouldnt there be enough stock in the stockroom to replenish the shelves? Otherwise why send out a flyer if you can only supply enough for less than a days supply? Today there were six things on the sales flyer I wanted/needed and walked out with one item which happened to be the last - I was lucky I guess if you can say 1 out of 6 is lucky. I asked if there will be a restocking of the items Im interested in and she said she didnt know but if its out its out. How does a business like this stay in business with heavy competition thats able to keep up with supply and demand? Not to mention the hike in prices to keep afloat.

Last place on earth I would recommend shopping after being assaulted by one of their employees in their pasco location. Apparently this is extremely common at Briggs the more people I talk to especially if your white which is really sad concidering I use to stop at Briggs every time I went to town and spent tens of thousands there over the years so its obviously gone really down hill. Guess the way your treated at a store is truly a reflection of what kind of people the owners are.

Very friendly but employee was not wearing mask even thou it was there hanging out of her pocket and they were not asking people to were masks in the store even though it is mandatory besides that the lady that helped me was very pleasant!

They had the 30lb pull magnet I needed, but not single 00 screwdrivers. I was able to get the entire set I needed next door @Dollar Tree tho!

Great store, inventory was well maintained and organized. Made multiple trips here after the big orange box store did not have the parts and tools in stock that I needed.

Needed to pick up some in the ground sprinkler parts staff was very helpful.

Helpful, courteous, distance/bubble space aware. It was nice to be treated like my health and safety are a priority.

I enjoy the great selection and variety of tools they have in stock. I buy most of my work tools from here and am a rewards member which helps on savings.

If you are looking for a specific color to match your paint I recommend Ace employees in the paint department. They are experienced in their field and gracious to talk to about your project. Keep up the fantastic job.

Felt completely uncomfortable I’ve shopped here for Christmas lights all season long I made one return and was treated completely rude they had more of a problem the way I wrapped and returned my item instead of my receipt I had no plastic material to wrap back to there liking so they started scolding me in front of my children an family of how he didn’t like it they looked up my receipt and they were surprised the cashier an man I’ve spoke to the same cashier all month off course I bought it! While my family was getting the money put on the card I went to pick out different lights I figured I would just make another purchase to show I had done nothing wrong I realize the old man was waiting at the end of the isle watching me and my children at that point I decide to not make another purchase because I was clearly no longer welcomed there.

If Ace doesnt have it, they will direct you to the place that does have it!!!😁

Did not have what I needed

I went the other day and had this older lady check me out. I’m not sure if she’s related to owner or what but I’ve never seen bad customer service before. This was the first time I’d had shopped here because I was in a hurry. Won’t be returning again. I feel if you have rude people cashiering it only makes your company look bad.

I avoid coming here as much as possible. The older lady that works here is so rude. I was hoping she would be gone for the day but nope she was here. Won’t be ordering anything anymore. We must treat others with respect and kindness if not stay home. We have too much going on in society to not share kindness.

Great store if only we had more griggs and ace good ol hardware stores with knowledgeable employees and things you wont find at the big box stores

My wife and I are new homeowners and had only been to Ace rarely when we happened to be looking for something that Big Lots didnt have. With the new house we needed a window a/c unit. Im so glad we bought from Ace. They are VERY helpful in getting you what you need, and the manager, Lance, will make sure youre a happy customer. Given the choice between H.depot and Ace, go Ace everytime. Even if the price is in the depots favor, the service at Ace isnt beatable.

The crew is always helpful from the moment you come in the door. Asking pertinent questions so none of my time is wasted. I like their diverse selection of products too. Who knew you could get a 4 slice toaster there for a descent price.

Fast friendly service and its never too packed which is a priority to myself.

They have great stock and selection. I especially enjoy stopping in for the seasonal and specialty extras. The prices tend to be more than the nearby store hardware departments, however I know I will receive help and service with my project needs. A clean store & easy to find items. Oh, and I must have my bag of popcorn!

Too many customers not enough staffing

Great place to shop. Staff is so helpful & friendly. They carry a wide variety of merchandise and if they dont have what you are looking for, the knowledgeable people there will point you in the right direction. I have had many good shopping experiences here and enjoy my visits.

I give this store five stars because in general Ace has is awesome store. They have a little bit of everything but one of the best things is if you need help you just ask somebody and they take you right to the item and most of the time they can tell you how it works. In Kennewick theres not that much Home improvement available in this area so this is a very convenient place to shop

I shop a Griggs Ace Hardware Stores whenever I can. I have done this for many years. I always get great service. They now have the Craftsman tools which is helpful for existing tools I have that I may need warranty coverage. The Griggs family has driven a great job for the Tri-Cities.

We got very good service on what we came for. The sale person was very helpful.

Been using this store almost daily as I an retired and restore cars Im my garage. I use a ton of fasteners and lots of other items. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful! Today I had my first bad experience in years of doing business there. There were no pens to mark the prices on the nuts and bolt bags! I ask an employee for help and he just told me to call the vendor! When I checked out I told the cashiers of my experience and they did not offer any help! Please hire some customer service people who care about customers. These people have been there for a while! Serious lack of desire!Thank You..Don McCall

No customer service and over priced as well

Sometimes one gets stuck on just Home Depot or Lowes, but I am always pleased that Ace seems to have exactly what I need when no where else does.

Ace is always a quick in and out for whatever little hardware thing I need. They usually have it.

This Ace feels the smallest out of the ones in TriCities, however, they almost always have what I need.

I dont like being chased down and asked if I needed to be helped. If I need it I will ask. Recorded my shortest trip to a hardware store ever. In and out in 1 min. Second time Ive gone there and was jumped by you salespeople. Do you mind if I look around on my own? No wonder the place was empty on Saturday. Not going in there again.

I stopped in briefly to pick up potting soil - they stock Black Gold, which you cant get in many places. First time Ive been in, and I was impressed by the friendly and helpful service. Ill go back next time I need hardware or gardening supplies.

Convenient location with decent hours, especially if you dont want to have to drive far for one or two things. A bit overpriced on most things, nice people, however not as knowledgeable as advertised. If you dont know exactly what you want/need, or need more help with items, I think Lowes or Home Depot would be a more helpful choice.

I recently had a, not so pleasant experience at Ace. Its over a chain saw. I understood that when a saw breaks, you replace it, and I believed Ace was not going to honor that. Well long story short...... sometimes it pays to have friends in the right place. After two saws breaking, we were blessed with the exchange of even a better saw. I apologize for what we had to go thru, but Im also very pleased with the resolution. I will definitely shop here again;)

Love my pasco Griggs . Always have what I need either on line or in the store. Or theyll tell me where to go to get it .they are to easy find right behind Feista foods. just over the cable bridge off of 10th ave.

The girl at the cash register was super nice and helpful! But Kyle was very unprofessional, telling me that that the product I wanted “sucked” multiple times and also smelled strongly of alcohol. This made the shopping experience unenjoyable.

I have only one negative after the many visits there and that is that last week I went to get a .22 cent screw for my camera and at the checkout counter, I encountered a older female employee and was making small talk and being humorous about how they verify pricing on these individual items, I was met with one

They let me take my bicycle inside and very helpful people. I even seen a couple of dogs strolling with their owner inside the building.

I love Griggs because they have been my hardware store since I moved to Tri-Cities in 1999. I 💘 them even more since they became a part of the Ace Hardware chain.

This is a great way to avoid the Big Box stores when you only need a few hardware items. They also have a well stocked hunting/fishing/outdoor section.

Friendly cashier who readily answered my product questions.Did not go through entire store, but it looked clean and decent to me.

Always seems to have want I need. Even if I didnt know I needed that until I seen it there.

This store has a great selection of fishing and gun & supplies.

I have been in many times for different things, and cannot find anyone who knows anything. If a person works in a specific department they should know absolutely everything there is to know. And most of all...throwing our F bombs complaining about customers, in front of customers, is EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE 😠

The staff here are very helpful. They have a very wide range of products including craftsman tools. Ace isnt always the cheapest place to buy what you need but you can get in and out very quickly compared to larger stores.

Great service, called ahead to see if the Stihl kombi tool attachment was on hand or not. It was but still boxed unassembled, they had it put together ready to go when I got there!
