Everybodys friendly with masks and helpfull

I couldnt find anything I was shopping for today. I had to get help 4 times. Employees sent me all over the store to the wrong places. Still left without something I needed. On a good note I got dinner at their deli, Chinese dinner, and they finally registered my rewards card after many years!

Always cheap foods and good selection here food wise. Sometimes milk is not what I want but thats ok.

Not sure what your cashier intentions was, just because I am a minority please DONOT come to the conclusions I am on SNAP or Food Stamps. Your cashier didn’t even ask if I was paying with cash or credit or debit. Just asked me if I am paying with food stamps. So no Karen, I am not paying with food stamps, thank you very much.

Good place to shop, if you use your Safeway card its better, I just tried their amazing, creamy Alfredo chicken salad, wow! Just scrumptious...

I really enjoy their cut fresh fruit. I really dont pay any attention to the price. They have pretty much the best deli, way better chicken than Wal-Mart.

Incredibly over priced generic groceries, sold in a tired and bland looking store. Top it off they never schedule enough cashiers so you stand in line for 20 minutes just to purchase your over priced generic groceries. Then the line is slowed down with customers and their dopey club card. I rarely shop here, and when I do in an emergency, it reminds me why I dont shop at Safeway.

I stopped at this Safeway as aquick stop, to buy some Alfredo Sauce and pasta for dinner.As I was loading the items on the conveyor belt, I didnt quite get one of the Alfredo Sauce jars securely on the belt. It fell off and shattered, sending sauce and glass about 7 feet away.I was SO embarrassed! The wonderful woman at the checkouts was SO gracious and told me to not be concerned about it - everything was ok - it could happen to anyone!!Then the clean-up crew came and another lady - ALL SO NICE!! The other lady (I THINK she might have been in management) told them to get me another cart for the other side of the mess, so I wouldnt have to roll the cart I had, into the mess!WHAT SERVERS!!! TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE! WOW!!I was SO befuddled, with all this occurring, that I didnt get their names. I sure wish I had! They deserve TREMENDOUS credit for putting a VERY EMBARRASSED CUSTOMER, at ease!!I actually live in Oregon and only stop in occasionally, but every time Ive been in the store, it has been clean, orderly and the employees have been friendly, but THIS time - They went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!

Safeway on 395 Kennewick Ave Sucked came out with the Hanford convention no sandwiches or anything good to eat for but empty shelves ☹

The Kennewick floral department is awesome. Payten and Dana are exceptional florists. Lots of imagination and creativity. Dana excels at doing weddings and special occasions. Payten is great at holiday arrangements.

Great store staff is helpful. Deli always has good food. Going on Mondays is nice they call it cheap chicken monday so long as you are a club member.

Andrew has been doing a great job with the store. His level of customer service is unmatched.

Went in to get allegra and water. Everything was fine except I went in through the pharmacy doors. The pharmacy is in the back wall in the center. What was right there in the pharmacy doors were flowers. I went in for allegra.

This guy said his friend was tiktok famous and he was really nice

This review is for the deli dept. Fix your shelf labels for the cold Chinese food! Or at least put the price of the food on the TOP of the food container and not at the bottom so we can see how much the thing actually is. That way when we get to the 1 lane that is open and what we think should be $4-$6 of cold left over Chinese food comes up as $30 we dont hold up the line and look stupid.

The staff are nice and personable. If you go in enough they will remember your name. Thats how much attention to detail this staff is. The day manager with the tattoos is a very helpful and courteous employee. I like the self checkout lines. I recommend this Safeway and this one only.

YUK. Worst grocery store Ive ever visited. So old and outdated and very little food selections. Awful meat department and produce. Their flower section is better stocked. Such a shame this is what the owner feels their customers are worth and deserve. Geewhiz, take some money and bring this place up to todays standards.

Friendly staff everytime I go. The store is always clean and well organized. Usually stocked pretty well and conveniently located.

Always a wonderful experience at this Safeway. Sometimes the lines get long, but thats life. Excellent pharmacy - Ive used them for 7 years, never had a single issue.

They got some weird customers that like to talk a lot, waited a little bit to check out, only 1 cashier...store was decent

I would give 5 stars but the lines are usually crazy.

Very nice store, everyone is very friendly and helpful. They always give me good advice and can answer any questions I have. Only thing keeping them from 5 stars is on an average day they seem to be understaffed so you may have to look around for help and wait in a line at checkout.

Always have everything we need. This store is well maintained and cleaned. Once i found a expired candy by check out and took it to the manager. He took them off the shelf immediately and replaced mine with other candy of my choice.

This is the most expensive grocery store in Kennewick. However, they carry many specialty and gourmet (fancy) food items you cant get at other grocery stores. Not for the budget conscious, but still a good store. Staff is usually friendly and helpful.

They have a great rewards program. You can use it for gas or money off your next purchase. Easy to use all you have to do is put in your phone number. There are free items you can get with your rewards points too.

Great place to get flowers or plants for gifts.

I havent been in here for a while, but my visit was a pleasant one. The store is clean and bright. They had most of what I was looking for - I couldnt find Tsang Mongolian Fire Oil, but cant find that anywhere in town. One thing I really appreciate is that Google Pay contactless payment works here, so I can pay with my phone and not risk a credit card being compromised by a skimmer it other malware. Bravo!

Useless store. Poor service will not return or exchange a $5 flower. Manager said he cant do it. Have to talk to the floral manager who isnt there. They overwatered their orchids and they all are dying. Very rude and useless, no i dont want to come back when it is good for them. Didnt even know when her hours were.

Only place I could find that sold buttermilk! Sometimes the prices are a bit high but becoming a member is free and gets you lots of discounts and sometimes you get rewards like 10 cents off a gallon for a full tank of gas

The worst Shanghai meal I ever had at any Safeway from Seattle to southern California. Rice was dried out as was the noodles and the Korean beef was like rock hard jerky, boom boom shrimp was all i could eat. This was due to poor management in the deli area. And no utensils. With a whole store right there.

Its the most expensive store in town. I like the pharmacy staff though they are really nice 🙂

Clean store, organized, friendly staff but, too expensive. Even with reward card.

Little over priced, and when I went to the bakery, the young kid that tried to help me couldnt even help me find shortcakes cups, nor did he go further then telling me he didnt know. Although. The checker at the register made my experience much more a pleasure.

I am writing about the pharmacy on George Washington way in particular. My feelings are they do not care about their customer service at all. They (the pharmacy) sent me away completely dissatisfied, they knew I was unhappy, and did not care one bit.

I cannot believe the 5/4 Stars for this Safeway! Surely people should expect better than this. This place has nothing. I can walk around in circles and they cant come close to having what I need in any form. Their organic meat consist of turkey! Are they not aware theres bison, beef, chicken among other meats in grass-fed/organics?? I have to drive to Richland Safeway which I thought wasnt all that great, but now seeing this place, that Richland Safeway is a gem. This Kennewick Safeway is so old and run down and dirty. I tried them twice but thats it. It was only a waste of time. Not to mention the cashiers were quite unfriendly, unlike Richland where they greet you like old friends. With Fred Meyers only just up the road from here why would anyone ever choose this place???

I love this store! Clean and well stocked, plus friendly staff. We switched our prescriptions here and are very impressed with the service. We get reminder texts when its time to refill or pick up.

I think Safeway is a 5-star store. The store in Kennewick is conveniently located on the corner of Kennewick avenue and highway 395. Its a clean store with a nice clean fresh feeling atmosphere. I love Safeway. you can find almost anything you want to have a pharmacy here and a Starbucks coffee florist. Its really a good store

Great for late night trips

Meat is brown and grey frequently. Management argues for returns on old items. Sandwich prep station has wilted food that doesnt look or taste fresh. Full priced foods should be reduced to sell quickly. Instead items are kept full price until it clearly goes bad then reduced. I have zero confidence in this stores products. When I have to stop here, I check expiration dates and bypass anything perishable. Do not waste your time here. I go to yokes. Everything is fresh with above board service and quality.
