Highly Unethical. Barely can call themselves a business. They toy with customers and think its funny to treat them like dirt. Their manager looks like someone set half his body on fire with his skin peeling back like a snake. Theyre all too immature to treat customers with respect.Dont buy, sell, or do any business with these crooks. Theyre not a real pawn shop; Go to Illinois if you want to experience one.

I called ahead of time to see if they would pawn a diamond that I just purchased. They usedstrong arm negotiation tactics after I was honest with them and told them I planned on purchasing it back next week. If you really need money I’m sure that they’ll make a deal with you. Bottom feeders at best

The workers in here are inconsiderate. Tristen was incompetent and unable to help so he had to speak to a senior representative who previously told me all I needed to do was charge the console and he could give me the loan. Ridiculous. Go to a different pawn shop.

This place was cool. Second time in a pawnshop and it was nice. Looks a little empty for merchandise but theybsaid they sold so much lately but will get more. I ended up selling my chain and ring for 175.00 40 more dollars than the place in IL. Will repeat.

I’m sorry but I went into this place the other day to see about getting rid of some jewelry since this covid issue has my family & I in a bit of a rut. Well when I came in, the guy behind the glass seemed very unwelcoming. He took a look at what I had & knew instantly none of it was real, that’s fine he mentioned he’s been doing it such a long time he knows what’s real & what’s not. Cool, But what got me was that he seemed to just want me to get out of the store or something? I’m not too sure maybe he was just having a bad day or something but when someone comes in, someone who’s new to town like I am.. Maybe it would be best to just be a bit more welcoming. A smile goes a long way. I was very friendly & interested in someday possibly buying a keyboard for my fiancé. Maybe I’ll come back again someday to see if I get treated a little better.

This place does not allow you to wipe your information off of you are electronic products for you pawn or sell them. they steal your private and personal information I have talked to eight different pawn shops they said that that is a very suspicious. and a woman that works there is extremely rude she needs a personality change and attitude adjustment.I will never go back to this place ever I do not suggest you either!!!

Stopped by this place during my vacation a few weeks ago and wow was I impressed. I love going to different pawn shops when I travel because you never know what treasures you will find. This place was clean and everything was displayed with care. I was greeted when I entered and was made to feel welcomed! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for friendly staff and great deals.

My mom and I visited GNT pawn today. Wow what a great experience. We were looking for a ring for my dad for mom and dads anniversary. The man that helped us was very patient and went out of his way to help us find the perfect ring. We finally found a great piece at a very reasonable price. I could not help to notice how nice every employee was while we were there. Thanks GNT Pawn we will definitely be back.

Tom and his people are top notch. I have done a few deals with him, from a few hundred to a couple grand. Its always easy, quick, and best of all a great deal. Definitely you can deal with confidence. I would send my family to do business with them cause they do it the right way.

I reviewed this place a year ago 5 stars, after another year of being a customer I figured its time to revise... This is by far the best pawn shop Ive EVER bought from, sold to, or gotten a loan from. They have always been kind and helpful whether you are in person in the store or making a phone call to them, they take their time to answer you thoroughly. Most importantly; they are patient! Ive had to do pawn loans on some of my stuff when Ive came across hard times, and theyve always given me as much as they could, and work with me on my loans. They are all very friendly every time i come in and have helped me outta jams more then they even know. It was very clean and it had a large selection... But all the talk about how great the service is and how nice the staff are is misleading!! Ive been there twice now and both times the staff acted very smug.... I mean very smug... They made me feel like they rather not deal with me.... By the way it wasnt the whole staff because I didnt deal with everybody.. Ive read some of the other comments and everytime somebody says something negative the owner defends it so if I was a betting man I would bet that this gets worse before it gets better..

Con artists...They tried to convince me that my item was a different product when it very clearly says Pyle PD3000BA on the front... then tried to insult me with ridiculously low offers as they searched the wrong product.(10% of value)...then when i try to play ball they tell me that my 1 month old prestine receiver doesnt have a serial number...know your product before u walk in there or you will get scammed...i have all packaging,manuals and documentation to prove my purchase so for them to deny me after already trying to scam me was salt in the wound...place is trash... see below that the owner cannot be trusted either...full on lies...never was happy with anything there especially the 35 i was offered...then the 45...then the 50 that was agreed apon...also the device has all of its original markings on it.. amazon could sell it????hmmmm...liar and everyone was rude and whispering and insulting while i was there being polite...again TRASH SIR.. but thank you for coming on and showing your dishonesty...✌

Place is an absolute and COMPLETE SCAM! They will buy your high end items and tell you “we will only sell this for $500” and end up making THOUSANDS off of it. DO NOT GO HERE.

I see a lot of mixed reviews in here about this place but TBH Ive never had a bad experience. Bought my sisters some jewelry for Christmas and it was a great price. Im in there buying Gameboy games and DVDs all the time, and I dress bummy (pajama pants and my laundry day t-shirt) and Ive never felt like they treated me different because of my appearance. Idk, maybe its the energy one gives off when going there, I treat them nice - they do the same.

To bad it makes you give 1 star just to leave a review because if i could i would give 0. The whole 18 reviews this place has must be from friends/family because i just had the worst management experience ever. Whoever the man with all the discolored skin ia he is by far the biggest a-hole i have ever met. My husband went to buy a gold chain from this place and they had it marked wrong after so called40 yrs these people have been in business as the man argued they priced something wrong so insisted we pay over 100$ more because of their mistake idk you can decide for yourself but i think that was just plain bad business. You made the mistake and your customer had to pay for it wow. Needles to say we got the chain and like it but wish GNT had no part in the profit. Just saying...How cute to play that card. But anyways the last thing i am gong to say is read the reviews people you will see the cocky attitude this man has. He has lashed back at almost any bad review. Poor customers theyve already had a bad experience way to make it worse. What does that really say? I wont be wasting any more time on this particular subject i know what happened and thats all that matters.

Took my deceased fathers watch collection in but not a place for vintage jewelry I guess. The guy asked if the watch I showed him was running. Its vintage so ummm... winding! He acted like he didnt even want to see it or maybe I waited too close to closing time. I had vintage watches with the name Longines, Omega, Synchron 16, Helbros, Gruen, Benrus... I read other reviews about this guy so I suppose this one wont make a difference either. Cant wait to see if he admits he knows nothing about antique watches because Im sure hell take more time answering this review than he took looking at my watch.You must not have viewed the cameras. Your response only proves you guys are liars. Oh wait... maybe this isnt the boss, its the manager. Once the boss gets rid of you, hell do much better. I can tell by the other reviews about you.

I went into this shop to sell some old jewelry I have not worn in years, so I cleaned it all up beforehand in jewelry cleaner that I had at home and brought it here (gold and silver). They immediately took out the gold ring I had and gave me a dirt cheap offer for it. Then the bald guy refused to even acknowledge all the silver I had brought (one bag FULL of vintage and new sterling silver rings and earrings, sterling silver chains, and even the chunky thick Brighton brand sterling silver, and even jewelry with diamond chips in them) and he looked at me and said this is the price for silver right now so youd need alot....Then continues to stare at me without even attempting to weigh any of the pieces I brought like just me being there was wasting HIS time and the bag FULL of sterling silver wasnt alot.All the GOOD reviews for this place are from people who work here or know the employees. They are terrible at customer service and while most places want to actually help you out, this place doesnt give a rats backside about you. Ill go to the shop in IL that my mom goes to since they actually want to work out a deal and BOTHER to weigh everything she brings in, unlike this GNT place who cant be bothered with you and dont respect their customers enough to even weigh more than ONE piece of gold that you bring in because you, the customer, are obviously not worth the bare minimum effort.I honestly wish Google was smart enough to tell when people who work for a place are giving their own store false positive reviews because their service is SO BAD.

My wife came in with a silver pandora (with aquamarine charm) bracelet for a loan...The guy with skin discolor offered her $25 for a bracelet I paid $220 for...I guess he thought we were drug attics or something...I took the same bracelet to Waukegan & got a loan OVER TWICE THAT AMOUNT...a shame I have to cross state borders for good service#ThumbsDown

I recently purchased a XBOX 360 from this GNT pawn store on Sheriden Rd, Kenosha. The date on purchases was January 8th, Now only 32 day later the system has stopped working. I brought it back to the store to see if they could make it work again or exchange it. They refused to do so, due to the fact it was over the 30 day policy...Only by 2 days!! I am very upset by the service I recieved at this shop..My small children loved their XBox for gaming and movies and we depended on GNT selling quality electronics. I feel takin advantage of. I have to shop at places like this for good deals so I can always give my four kids things they deserve. .I cant afford New and Big Box stores. Shame on you GNT!
