BE AWARE! NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL. I honestly hate that I have to write this, I do. My experience with U-haul has been great up until the point where I wanted to cancel my account. I have literally been auto-drafted twice now since may account was cancelled. You literally have to wait an hour on the line with corporate, whom apparently can not cancel an account themselves. To have them, send an email that once again apparently goes into the ether, since nobody actually handles any of the requests to CLOSE AN ACCOUNT. I will not be using U-haul again.

These guys have it all! Just like the name says, moving and storage! Hitches, bike racks, trailers, boxes, they have it. Super nice indoor climate controlled storage! Secured entry. Well lit. Friendly, helpful staff. Best place around!

Was helping a friend move out of this place definitely not the cleanest of storage places. Especially when you see a mouse running the halls, also definitely some funky smells walking past some of the units.

I’ve been calling for a week straight, during the day and afternoon. I’m always on hold for over 30mins which is crazy. But when a payment is late you’re quick to call. It should never take that long to help customers. You should call customers prior to their due date not weeks after.

Store and product is acceptable.Low rating is due to phone tree... biggest circular phone tree in the world to get to speak to an actual person.Stopped at four menu options with a minimum of four selections at each step.

I can always count on this place to have all I need when it mattered. Ive referred them to many. First Stop Always.

Another example of bad customer service and white privileged workers.Just went to pick up boxes and was completely ignored by staff. White man walks in is immediately greeted and taken care of by the employees. I stand in line with my daughter we are ignored and all I stopped in for was a bundle of boxes.Expect to wait in line if your not white.

By far, the cleanest storage facility I have ever encountered.

I needed to have a trailer hitch and wiring harness installed on a new-to-me vehicle that I had just purchased so that I can tow my boat once the weather breaks. I did the order online, and chose this particular U-Haul as they had a large facility (this is an old Walmart store), so I thought they would be better equipped to perform the installation. I made the appointment for a week after ordering the parts, but the order was stuck in Chicago (I LOVE the Chicago USPS hub :( ), so I was called and was informed of this ahead of time so that I wouldnt waste a trip. Three days later, I was called and informed that my hitch had finally arrived. I made the appointment for the following Saturday. When I got there, the installer immediately took action to get my SUV all set up and ready to go. I was in line to sign the paperwork that I needed to sign as this is a Saturday, so naturally, they were busy. When it was my turn, I was met by another friendly person and he had my paperwork all ready to go. I mentioned that I would need to wait for this to be done as I didnt have a ride, so he offered me a comfortable chair, and some complimentary coffee and water. While I was waiting, I was greeted by other friendly employees, including someone from U-Haul taking pictures of the place (this U-Haul facility is fairly new and had a recent facelift), and mentioned that she liked the way my truck looked while the installer was working on it and informed me that she took a picture of it, which was nice.All in all, I had a great experience. ALL the staff was really friendly, and the facilities were really clean. The installer had my truck ready to go in just over an hour, and returned my car as clean as when I left it with him.There are a few U-Haul facilities in Kenosha, and Ive used one other in the past, but from now on, this will be the only one I will use.

Its a giant maze with tight corners. Visible bugs on the floor. Alarms going off constantly.

Omg! Everything went smooth with our rental today! The truck was clean, ran great and was perfect for our move today! The gentlemen that were there explained everything in detail to us and were SO professional! Highly recommend doing business with them!!

The Grayslake u haul answered every question with a No. Justin and Ryan at kenosha u haul answered every question with a Yes and no problem.

Manager was very helpful and clearly kept security for the unit, will be renting from U-Haul in the future.

I like it because it used to be a Walmart from the 90s that closed in 2009. 2018 it got turn to a little uhaul then...what it is now

Horrible customer service!Walked in and barely heard a hello from one of the guys sitting at the counter. All 3 workers were sitting/standing behind the counter and talking among themselves. Had I not walked over to the counter, I doubt any of them would have approached me and asked if I needed help. I told one of them that I wanted to see some actual units in the building but all he did was point to the models they had in the office. That did not give me any idea of what route I would have to take to actually move my stuff in. When I asked about the average temperature of the units throughout the year, another worker asked me, What temp do you want it at? Within the first 20 seconds I knew I would choose Cubesmart over this place. If you choose to store anything here, hopefully you get better staff!

Dont get me wrong the service is 5 stars but renting has gotten ridiculous in cost

We rented a truck last week to move and were contacted by this location to see if there was any way we could bring the truck back early. We were told that a military family needed it ASAP so they could move to their new location. The representative from this location said they would compensate us. We worked hard and dropped it off the same day. I called Uhual customer service and they said someone from the store would contact us. Well that was 4 days ago. I just went to the location and not a single representative could be found. They had nice little printed notes on every chair saying they would be back in a little bit using the bathroom. I waited 5 minutes and no one came back from the bathroom!!!! Worst customer service ever at this location....actually nonexistent!!!
