Hit-and-miss at this location, especially with cashiers. Sometimes they are sweeter than dessert, and some other sour as limes. In this particular occasion, the cashier was great. The reason for the 3-stars, is because I couldnt find a soul to help me figure out in which aisle to find what I was looking for. When I found a staff, she told me she was busy with someone else and never saw her again. Anyhow, maybe ordering online and having the item ready could solve this issue. I am grateful to have a Joann Fabric in my community which is the reason I continue to shop there, not necessarily for its customer service.

I always ending buying SOMETHING when Im here, even if its not what I came for. That being said, they rarely have what I need because they are out of stock or have a limited supply (mostly paints/brushes/paint related things). However I love looking around and finding cute, creative stuff and always end up leaving with more craft ideas and the staff have always been helpful and courteous.

My Mom and I went in to get some string to make an adjustment to some leggings she has. Along the way I found iron on patches made to put on doggie clothing that were on sale for less than $2 each! Of course I got two and a doggie bone keychain for her leash/poo bag holder. Workers were helpful and friendly. Selection is great! I wish I was talented enough to know how to make cool things with all the beautiful fabrics and other craft options they have there.

Great place for craft supplies and ideas. When you step into a Joann’s your inspired to be the more creative you. Store is clean and reasonably organized. Lost of discount and coupons on paper and stamps. When not on sale the price is a little high on most items. Definitely recommend. And definitely worth a visit.

Joanns is great! I love that they still have tables and chairs in the area they carry books, magazines, and patterns! Its a great place kids can wait while their parents shop, they can read books while they wait. I recently found out that they still carry the card making magazine bumper packs from the UK which are really hard to find around here! I love that they have a fabric cutting station still and they always have an employee running that area so you can always get help with the fabrics you want. They carry tons of tie dye inks, paints, fabric markers and a whole isle of shirts for dying. They have tons & tons of scrapbooking and paper crafting tools, stickers, embellishments, papers, markers, pens, die cutting, stamping, stencils, paints, collectables, home and kitchen decor, etc. I love that they still have project ideas down several isles and have classes all month long as well as kids classes in the summer time. They have so much more than I expected!

I came needing fabric, elastic, and webbing but having no idea where anything was or what kind I needed. The staff here helped me immediately and I was in out in 10 minutes.

Ran in to pickup some linen and foam for a Ottoman I was building. The staff was awesome and very helpful. The prices are higher than Amazon but, I needed to see and feel the linen before buying it. I had enough of it left over to build a cat bed too.

Its Joann, so Im always gonna be at least half happy with the trip. But I have to say this is my least favorite location. While it is on the smaller side which isnt the workers fault. They could be a bit more helpful and a bit less judgey. Anyway Joanns is my number 1 spot for Cricut materials.

This is an older location and while they dont have everything that the bigger stores do its a cute, fun store to visit & with the help of the staff, you can make anything with what they do carry! Customer service is non existent at this store. I can never find someone on the floor to ask questions when I need help and the cutting counter is always packed. Not sure if they are under staffed or if this is by design. They usually have a decent selection of fabric but right now they are out of a lot of things. When I asked about a product I was looking for I was told they have no idea if or when they might get more. I would just need to keep checking back to see as they never know what they will get in. What? No inventory control or way to see if it is on order? I was even encouraged to shop with a local independent sewing shop as they would be more likely to have the items I need. Not impressed.

Mom found exactly what she was looking for when we took our last trip to JOANNAS! I didnt need anything so bought a few things just because. Ive been working on different projects with my mother all my life. Being able to sew your own buttons back on shouldnt be something to be ashamed of. I thought for times had changed but they havent. I wanted to show my girlfriends oldest son (hes 19) how to sew his button back on his shirt but he told me sewing is for women. Im not sure why or who is still teaching that bs I just hope it stops soon. My mother taught me to sew and crochet at a very young age. She wanted me to be independent. Weve been going to stores like JOANNAS as long as I can remember and I love it!

I bought 3 yards of wide back fabric here in two different shades for the first time. I noticed that the girl was fully opening it from the bolt and ripping it down the middle. I started talking with someone and didn’t follow up on my observation. Got home which is an hour away and both the colors I picked out of wide back fabric was only about 40 inches wide by 3 yards. I believe I was shorted by half got each color.

Their sale sign was misleading. They shouldnt have put the sign next to the short sleeve T-shirts because I was under the impression that the t-shirts (Ive always thought of t-shirts being short sleeved) were 40 percent off but they were not. I thought that they just forgot the comma. The sign shouldve stated that t-shirts were excluded.

Terrible customer service. Put an order in, as they said they had some thread I needed. Called the next day to see if it had been pulled for curbside pickup (only available option). They said no, they had been to busy. Totally understandable, I can wait a day or two. I call the next day, takes forever to get ahold of someone, and finally they tell me oops, no, they didnt actually have it in stock, so they had just canceled my order without letting me know. Will not be shopping here again. Michaels helped me out instead.

Restroom was filthy!! Toilet had not been scrubbed in a long time. There was mold t the water line. Toilet paper and paper towels were all over the floor and waste basket was overflowing. Very sad.

Courteous customer service and good selection of fabrics and craft supplies. Plus online ordering and in-store pick up is so convenient. Joann app always has useful coupons, too.

I bought twelve large crates & asked if someone could help me out with them. I was told there were only 3 employees on, it would have taken 2 minutes to push a cart out to help me. It’s too bad Alissa couldn’t have said if you wait a minute but she was not willing to offer a solution. I won’t be anxious to go back to this store.

The ladies working at the store were all super knowledgeable as well as super friendly. I didn’t know what I was doing and they walked me through different types of thread, different types of needles along with techniques for utilizing both with greater ease and greater efficiency.Very pleasant experience overall in the store.

So-so customer service, if you want to call it that. At the material desk, great lady there but then she was off. Younger staff left do not know a thing about customer service. When I got to register, one person was working there. No greeting or apology for long wait. Younger staff not trained in proper customer service.

But give them a chance, its under new management team and been dropping in by and the teams there are doing their best to help each customer to bring out the best of their creativity. I recently went shopping here. They always have great seasonal items. Fall is my favorite and they really have alot of things in floral for fall as well as halloween( I dont celebrate) and Thanksgiving. Lots of different paints, material etc. I love Joannes. Nice shopping environment.

This is a smaller JoAnn location, so the selection can be rather sparse. If you want aida cloth for counted cross stitch, all they have is 14 count. The service here is on point, however, every time I have been. The associates are willing to help, and the line typically moves pretty smoothly.

A good sewing and crafts store, with the emphasis on sewing. I always find the basics I need here, from bobbins and needles to ribbons and storage boxes. Keep an eye out for good sales and coupons.They dont have a super-wide selection of other crafting supplies, such as glitter or art paper, but the friendly, professional staff can direct you where to find what you need.

Standard chain store. In my youth, I actually used to work for this chain, so Im quite familiar with store operations and several store formats. This location in particular just recently underwent a remodel and it looks great!Ive come here a few times, and the staff is nice, but not the most knowledgeable, but hey, most of them are making minimum wage! Also, this location is a bit on the smaller side comma so sometimes I do have to make a trip to the larger Jo-Anns in order to get what I need

Good store struggling with covid-19. We needed to take 2 trips to pick up the full order.

They have a decent selection but its a small location so I didnt expect everything. I know they have coupon codes and the checker asked for one but I didnt have one and she refused to give me one. Oh well! Im sure Ill be back as there are few options up on this hill.

I love this place. Anytime I need a piping tip for a baking project or something to help complete a project for my daughters school like yarn. Even if you dont find exactly what your looking for there is sure to be a cool substitute that will work just fine. I always go to the Kent location because I live close but the Tukwila location is way bigger and Ill go there if Im in the neighborhood.

This is the place to go for any projects, or gift personalization, I went to pick up some fancy fabric and felt to line my dining room hutch and make bags for the silverware. The coupons are usually pretty good too and Jo-Ann fabrics always has a good sale on something.

Waited at the counter to get some fabric cut. Rang the bell waited a while, rang it again waited,still nothing. I know its not the staffs fault. Joanns needs to hire more people to run their stores. Not be greedy penny Pinchers.

I went to the store to look for Green Florist wire. They have a good amount and selection of everything to make wreaths with but dont have green wire? The employees were not concerned that they were out and simply told me its a busy time of year without offering to look elsewhere.

Great place with a good selection of art supplies. Wish they had more canvas and paints to choose from, along with more of a marker/inking section. But the selection they have is nice.

The people who work in the departments are rude and think they are above helping you find something. We were looking for gator clips and after searching almost the whole store unsuccessfully for them I found some to ask in stamps and without me even finishing the question she said we dont have them. Thankfully we were a little determined and finally found the 1 peg they were kind of hidden on since it was the main thing we wanted to purchase. If you dont like your job, fine, but if a customer is asking for your help and you dont know, dont just blew them off... Remember without the customer you would have no job or paycheck

Good stock, not massive like some other Joanns but I found what I needed and then some. Or really way too much other stuff. XD Prices were very good yesterday but everything I bought was on sale. Some votive candles really suck but the ones I bought here are amazing, theyre pretty short but they last a long time and burn evenly. The sales associates were very patient and friendly.

There are virtually no fabric store choices left. My complaint is the confused pricing, coupons that DO NOT WORK correctly, or incorrect prices. I have to monitor the receipt like a hawk! It is absurd. There are no other fabric stores so this is forced upon you. Competition is good, but they have none, so no check... darn it.

Horrible customer service!I am very disappointed, by the service I received today at Joanns. I walked around the store, without anyone asking do I need help. Which (I did) . I found the first worker and she acted if I was bothering her 😐 I asked for a fabric that I was wanting to purchase and her response was I dont know what you are talking about and walks off. So, I continue to search for the items I desperately need and see a second worker and again ask the same question and her rude response is what is it and says LOOK OVER THERE, WITH A POINT. So, I politely say Thank you and continue my search. While, on my search another customer (Caucasian)walks up to the lady I just asked for help, and the lady politely shows her to the item, wearing a smile. Why did I not recieve the same treatment? I have noticed this before, but this time I chose to do a yelp review. I have been shopping here for years and I think I spend my money at Michaels for now, at least I will be treated like a human! Signed, customer no more! PS, CASHIERS ARE FRIENDLY 95% OF THE TIME.

Ive been going to this store since they opened. Management changes a lot. I went in to just exchange a pink zipper for a white zipper. OMG. Same exact type, brand, style, base price. However they tried to return it for the lowest sale price then charged me the regular price. 60% difference. WTH. No! At the very least they could have overridden the price and took 60% off the new price. Upon calling the MIT she wouldnt budge and apparently couldnt be reasonable either. I said never mind and left with my zipper. Thank goodness I found a Joanns that had an employee with common sense and was able to exchange the zipper.

Real quiet customer service isnt the greatest, only positive of this store is you wont have to wait in a very long line If you decide to go.
