If you decide to buy games especially gameboy/color/gba here, please bring your own console to test the game. I bought a game recently and it wouldn’t load at all. I couldn’t justify wasting time to head back to the store just to save a few bucks.

The girl that helped me find what I was looking for had amazing customer service.The old lady (owner?) with short hair at the counter that I unfortunately had to make contact with was rude and very unprofessional.

Went in to buy a game. After purchasing a game, I opened the case that was sealed by plastic wrap, and it was a completely different game. I went back inside to let them know that it was the wrong game. They dont do refunds but will gladly do exchanges. Thankfully, there was another exact same game, so I got that. This time I opened the case, again it was in plastic wrap, in store. It was the correct game. But then I noticed there was a chip on the discs outer edge. I was afraid that the game wouldnt work. But to my surprise, there was a console for the game that I could try on to make sure the game works. So I did and it works great. Very happy that I stopped in today. Awesome staff and large selection of used games. 5 🌟

If youre going to be shutdown, then be shutdown. if youre open, then be open.. dont let someone drive for 2 hours to get to your store only to tell them oh, THAT part of the store is closed for covid. its not like its a different part of the building.. its the same big open room sharing the same air.

14K gold is going for between $45 and $50 per gram. A very pretty and courteous middle aged woman offered me $30 for a 2.8 gram designer necklace. I asked how much would I get for my 5 gram 14K ring and she told me $60. Do the math. That’s less than half the price per gram of what 14K is going for. She must have thought I was a rube. I put the necklace on in front of her and very politely said thank you anyway and walked out the door. Please go to another shop if you need rent money or bill money. Always check the price of gold and ask how many grams. Also DO YOUR MATH!

A+++ team at pawn express. They were so willing to work with me. I went there needing a certain amount. The things I had to pawn didn’t quite add up to what the amount I needed. This place is weird. The owner is just not friendly and the co workers act like God in control of your life if you ask for a loan. Very snobby and rude service. Kent Jewlery and Loan is WAY better!

One pawn shop i can trust with my stuff to be honest and great customer service in there plus all my friends like to do take their stuff as well. Excellent selection of retro games. They offer you the most money hands down for old Nintendo stuff, but other places will give you more for newer video games. They tend to give you a take it or leave it price, but it tends to be a fair amount, so thats okay. Would recommend for Jewelery and Retro games.

I went to pick up my item yesterday and I was hesitant to even go there to start because of the reviews on here.I dont feel some of these review were honestly close to the experience I had and almost prevented me from going in, in the first place.I honestly am glad I did.They were professional and gave me a fair price on the loan for my gold.I went yesterday and I wasnt feeling well and Id done a ton of running around beforehand.When I got there I was just .82 cents short. She said I could catch her next time. I was confused and was like huh?. You mean pay you it the next time I see you? She said yes. That right there was awesome. Most places wouldnt have even though of doing that.When I originally went in there were no dirty looks or judging etc. They didnt turn their noses up and one of the posts and backs is missing on the earrings I brought in.The store is a hodgepodge of items from childrens toys for the summer to computers and other high end items you can use to play or work with. Its not the typical pawn shop in they only take specific items. She said she will consider items that arent the normal pawn shop items that the other stores only accept.They do need to be in good condition though. Not junk items.I am actually looking forward to when I have a few extra dollars to go in and really take a good look at what is available.I had a VERY positive experience and I think people should give it a chance. I did and Im glad I did.If I need another loan I will most likely go back too.Thanks so much for your help & the slide on the change. :)

Very fair on pricing with sellers

Do not recommend... I brought in a $550 electric/acoustic guitar in perfect condition, including a $120 guitar case, a $36 guitar strap, and a $15-$20 guitar tuner and the old man had the nerve to offer me $85 for all of it. He was unwilling to work w me and give me even a fair price and when I questioned why so low he stated that the pawnshop needed to make their profit off it and if I dislike it I can leave and go somewhere else and that the chances were high I would be back and if I did return his original more than fair offer will be lowered!! I thanked him for the waste of time and i took my things back and went somewhere else and got $350 for everything!!

These people are Soo rude and unprofessional.... I hate how they treat people like they are better than others and I dont know why they are still in business... They are a very shaddy cast of employees that ripped me off out of$30 years ago.... Nobody in kent can stand this place or people... I wish they burned down than the other pawn shop

The staff has been very friendly helpful and courteous. Each time I have done loans they have called me a few days in advance from the pick up date to remind me.

DONT GO HERE.Is it possible to give half a star? Or minus stars? I was a loyal customer for a year, always buying something from them. More often then not I would spend $50+ each time.The last time I went there I was trying to haggle out a deal with one of the employees there, telling them I know I can get it for less on eBay. The manager (older woman?) piped up and said in a very rude tone Well we arnt eBay and we dont follow eBay prices., gee really? She had always been friendly to me before that point and always willing to work with me to make me a deal. Their prices are high, eBay high. I know how they look items up to price them, Im not stupid.I wasnt even talking to her and she had to stick her nose into my deal. I left after that and havent been back since. They USED to be good but...theyre overpriced, they spam Craigslist constantly with their ads and obviously they dont give a damn about their customers.DONT GO HERE.

Great selection, big retro game selection, but check the reviews, these guys are out to make a buck. Over priced items and low buy backs, pretty much the definition of a pawn shop, cant blame them, part of the game.

It is my fault for not keeping the receipt but if you are going to sell people video game consoles they should already come with a hard drive and not have a parental code on them. So now Im stuck with a system that I cant fully use.

Been buying and selling for years. They are fair, honest, and will work with you on pricing. If someones going to be rude to them they will be professional but dont expect much wiggle room.

Recently purchased a Diomand ring from here. I have to say amazing prices, alot lower than most jewelers. Ive been purchasing with them for over 3 years and never had any problems. Maureen is a hoot and Molly is very informative when it comes to alot of things. Also fair in the pawning side of things.

Wow. Came down from Seattle for a circular saw I, wait for it......... SAW on Craigslist, and wow... even as I pulled up, and throughout the whole experience, I thought Now HERES a well lit ecclectic pawn shop that for the first time in my life made me not wanna do quick business and skeedat! Nice people, cool and unique stuff... more like a Pawn Thrift Shop, and Ill be back for sure. Worth the drive down.

Im completely and utterly shocked and unsatisfied for the disrespectful service i receive at this shop. Seems to be a respectful place of business by the reviews but never have i felt so blatantly disrespected by a single person over and over again by hearing this women speak to other people with manners refering to costumers as sir and then look at me a young mexican that she sees is struggling and is in her shop trying to do business to get by due to uknown circumstances by her means..yet she looks down on me and continuously called me GUY as i stood next to the gentleman she had called sir multiple times with a smile..and then for some reason had the calling to look at my vehicle while im in tge middle of trying to sell my things and interrupted me with her most important question and concern why does your car look so Ratty Tatty in front of other costumers and work associates and continue to call me guy and belittle the items i had brought in, even after i had explained the hard time im going through and said thank you anyways and returned her rudeness with my christain belief of kindness and believing that shes good at heart and is only judging me because of my vehicle and doesnt know me...even though i felt so disrespected and belittled by the women who runs this business. When i finally left she deliberately took the path i had walked in her store moving around and checking the items i have touched while looking outside with a smug face towards me putting My belongings back into my car. I did nothing to disrespect her or her store i actually realy like their items for sale but the tall older women in her 50s maybe 60s with dark short hair continued to make me feel unwelcome for no apperant reason besides the fact that she had stated about my car that bothered her so deeply... Im not a druggy or a panhandler but was deffinately treated like one this morning because my car was quote on quote Ratty Tatty and i did not fit her standards as a respectable human being that belonged in her shop.

Only people in kent that would take psa graded baseball cards . the owner knew the company and had no trouble making the loan. cards must be a major player and graded by psa or beckett grading service

I have been going here for years, buying and pawning things. But I took my ps4 in and they are going for 320 brand new, they offered me 65 dollars for it. I go to a diff shop and get over 100

I bought a lawn mower here last week and there was some issues with it. I called them up and they told me to bring it in. No questions asked, the owner gave me a full refund for the item. I had been sweating the fact they might not allow me to return it because I bought it as is. This place cares about their customers and I will be returning.
