I cant believe it took me this long to find this place. What an incredible shop. An absolute must for any 80s/90s collector. An expansive collection, beautifully curated with just the right mix of visual abundance but not clutter.Theyve got everything from VHS to toys to records to clothes. Well worth the drive from Seattle.

I love this place! Fun as soon as you walk in. Slinkies, pins, fun buttons! The record room has nostalgic classics you wont see in any ordinary thrift scene. This shop is adept in other ways too, Pokemon card collecting and vintage era pop culture gear. This shop has evolved and has continued to impress me.Retro Emporium supports local artists as well.

The couple running the place are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And we even got this PRECIOUS set of Pokemon tea cup figures! 💖 Easily our new favorite nerd-shop since moving to the area!

Oh man, I found this place while walking my dog in downtown Kent. Very well curated selection of everything 80s and 90s. They also have a few really cute new items like earrings and stickers. Such a fun store. And, they let me shop with my terrier! Will definitely be stopping back for games in the back room.

My girlfriend and I stopped by this shop to kill some time. I was so pleased by the different video game and other figures available at the store. Im sad to be going back to arizona for college because I would love to buy more figures from this store and wish they had a website.

She is nice she greats me when I come in she doesnt judge anyone. its a gaming store and they sale a few other things. they do consignment there as well. they have very few candy and soda. if u like pokemon cards they have that as well. I am disabled she is friendly to all.

What an unexpected discovery while traveling and just walking by! Saw ‘star wars’ from the window, entered the store and got lost in the childhood 👶🏻 Buying from the local owners, chatting, getting to know... made a great memory. I’m coming back to spend more time and $ here, while I’m in Kent.

The owner curated an amazing selection of 70s through the early 00s Pop Culture Collectables and media! It has a little something for every part of the timeline! There things for everyone from toys, records, books, movies, and clothes! Oh and the candy from your childhood!! Also the place smells like cereal! Pokemon Galore!

My wife & I recently discovered this treasure trove after we had stopped at the bakery across the street to get cupcakes for a date night.Upon walking in, I was instantly attacked by a black knight swinging a HUGE AXE right into my nose holes!!!Except... The knight wasnt actually a knight, it was only an aroma. Also, the HUGE AXE wasnt actually an axe either.... It was the utterly intoxicating scent of Fruit Loops and/or Trix cereals.It DID, however, actually hit me in the nose holes.And Id go back for that fact alone...Locally owned & operated, this couple seems to champion, as well as cater directly to, the inner nerd in all of us. The store was, in my opinion, definitely someones excuse to spend all their time tracking down and buying all of those totally awesome, most interesting, coolest, often HARD TO FIND memorabilia and collectable item that most people wish they had. And if they dont HAVE it in stock, they will make every effort to get your request in stock.•Massive vinyl, CD, and cassette collection: EVERYTHING from Disney theme songs to NIN to °98 Degrees to Joan Baez.•A substantial VHS collection too: Oh, sorry kids, VHS tapes are those big things we used to use to watch movies at home before DVDs and streaming was developed. Additionally, being clean ensures your personal safety as people are less inclined to ninja attack clean people. THATS A SCIENTIFIC FACT that I just made up.

Ive been meaning to write this review for some time. This is a great shop! As other reviews have said, the owner has done a spectacular job curating great items from the 70s+. Theres tons of fun items to look at and buy as retro music is playing from cassette tapes on old boomboxes. Highly recommended!

The lady cashier who sold me the Buffy and Alien action figures + the drawing of Picard was funny and warm. If shes single Id ask her out in a heartbeat. Im going back there to buy some Star Wars action figures after Christmas!

This is a super cool store! They have a huge variety of nostalgia related products, Ill give an abbreviated example. They sell packs of unopened collector cards, pez dispensers, stickers, video games, Pokemon, toys, retro candy, stuffies, and comics, thats not even all of it. They also have a retro game system hooked up so you can play video games. The employees are great, they are super friendly and very helpful without being obnoxious. Definitely check this store out there is a lot to see.

VHS, NES, old comics, tapes, CDs, books and more. Very nice couple runs the place. Told us to watch Summer of 84, which we did, and it was awesome. Well be back!

Absolutely the BEST retro shop I have been to. This isnt your average antique store or consignment shop with endless piles of random junk laying around. It is a very well kept and well curated shop with a great selection of goods. What I like is that the store not only sells modern 80s and 90s gear, they actually sell REAL vintage items! You can find VHS movies, VCR, Walkmans, Laserdisc, NES games, Star Trek TNG stuff, Magazines, Cassette tapes, books, art; you name it, its probably here!! It is absolutely the best of retro meets modern. I have been here multiple times and I ALWAYS find a pile of goodies! They even have arcade machines!! I highly recommend everyone to come see this place and grab the goods before I buy it all! :D
