The selection is updated constantly so theres always something good but over the years the prices have spiked. Often, prices are marked as high as buying new. Name brands are marked up even when stained or heavily damaged. Employees are super friendly and the fellow shoppers are fairly respectful as well.
Hey, its Value Villlage; how can you go wrong? Loads of things and decent prices and a pretty friendly staff.
Mostly clean, aside from a few dust bunnies. Everything is divided by sizes. Prices were decent. Fast checkout. Prices were mostly good, some items I felt were overpriced, but mostly good. Very very well laid out and well maintained.
I shop here all the time, I really like shopping at thrift stores. But not being able to use the restroom is a deal killer for me. I get it, people can be and are disgusting and gross and they will desecrate a public restroom without a moments hesitation. And it’s probably a pain in the rear (haha) to keep clean. I was going to shop here today but had to leave because there was no restroom available. This was after holding it another store that did not have a public restroom. PLEASE ALLOW A RESTROOM FOR YOUR SHOPPERS!!!!!
I can always find something thats well worth the price. Great place to go if youre on a budget for clothes or just love thrift shopping. If you donate something you get a coupon for 20% off.
Found everything I was looking for. The store is always well sorted, so it didnt take too long. Prices are pretty reasonable.
Always love going to Value Village 👍 Unfortunately, they are permanently removing the fitting rooms according to an employee (probably due to stupid COVID-19). Return window is 15 days to get a replacement (no cash refund or gift card). Free ample parking for everyone. Pricier than Goodwill though.
Watch out for any house hold items you buy. Check everything in store thoroughly. I thought I did and it was 3 items were broken. 1 I knew in store and got a discount from manager. This being said the quality control is absolutely terrible
I really like this Value Village! Its extremely clean and well organized. Everyone is friendly from the time you walk in to the time you leave. They have staff to sanitize the carts who also greet you upon entering. On the plus side they have really nice items. For anyone interested Tuesdays are senior day with that you do get a discount so youll want to belong to their club as it were. Very nice thrift store indeed.
This Value Village had lots of pictures, furniture, books and a pretty decent clothes selection. I Found some small ramekins, cheap. But getting to it, (Id never been on Kent East Hill), was tricky and the drivers up there are aggressive and have no patience 👎
Its one of the cleanest second hand stores youll find. Lots of clothes and goods to pick from and most of the prices are reasonable. Its a good place to find what you need even if you didnt know you needed it. Id avoid their public restroom though.
What I do not understand is all the items sold are based on (donations) the good hearts of people donating their stuff...FREE!!!BUT why are some of the items are as or almost as expensive as ones at regular stores? Looking at pricing on some of the items I feel Value Village people on the backs of kind, hearted donors. This applies to GoodWill as well.
Love how clean & spacious the isles are. Lots of good deals. New stuff on the isles daily. Love this place!
One of our favorite thrift stores in the area. Better prices for kids books than goodwill. Lots of dresses and clothes.
Great selection of used goods. Well organized for easy shopping. Clean store. Excellent friendly staff. 4 stars because I think considering they are a for profit organization & many low income shoppers- they could be MUCH MORE reasonable with thier pricing.
I bought my bock jewelry thereIt was a little high on the price but its worth it I got some good pieces
The store was very clean and the service was great. Checking out was a great experience because the checker caught some tags that were wrongly priced. The manager oked the lesser price and I saved money. Thank you to the caring checker and wise manager. Today is March 31st 2021. What a hood time.
They are great with autism. They understand why he cant wear mask
Very helpful and attentive to my questions. The first c.s. woman helped find a lightbulb to test the floor lamp with. Also a friendly member helped fit the lamp into my car.
Love this value village. I always find good items at great prices.
This location turns over goods quickly. Good selection.
This store is well maintained considering people use it as a drop of spot for their garbage after hours and homeless people ransack the stuff thats left. I feel bad for the people that work here but they do a good job
Meh, the best part were the staff. They were incredibly nice. But not a huge selection of stuff though
Great experience with clerk and speedy check out. Lots of parking, masks, and social distancing.Have loads of things there and great finds! So glad I didnt grab a shopping cart or else I would have gone crazy!
Nice second-hand clothing store. Clean, well-organized, and doesnt smell too much like a musty attic. My daughters like shopping here for clothes -- thrifting, they call it. However, the prices seem to be quite high for used clothing. Also, the donations were stacked out in front of the store in a trashy way. Besides clothing, other used items were somewhat scant. I did not know Value Village is a for-profit business, but that doesnt much matter to me.
Way too overpriced for a use cloths. This store should reduce their prices. For a jeans $18? ROSS sales brand new Levis for $16. Come on VALUE VILLAGE store ripping people off. For a worn out t-shirts $12? Lol ! I would never ever shop here again.
I was not having mask they told me go get mask.. and just few minutes i see a couple coming in the shop without mask. And same lady was standing on the gate she didnt talk to the couples... they just let them come in without mask As CDC mentioned full vaccinated people can go without mask. But this place seems a discriminatory place allowing other people go without mask and others must wearing mask.. 😡😡
Clean store, good variety of stuff and well catigorized.
Dont like that I was tracked but pleasently surprised at the good quality of most items. Went with a neighbor to get to get out of the house and had only been there once before in the, 4 years that I have lived here in Kent
Good quality clean items. I did not give them 5 stars because of their prices. I like to thrift shop but I can get better price online for new basic items.
This Value Village is nice and clean and well organized. It has a good selection of items but things are a bit more expensive here than the local Goodwill. Staff seem friendly and look like they enjoy working there which is nice to see. Returns allowed on unworn tagged clothes/shoes with receipt within 24 days for store credit on same day.
If the line oops around the whole store its time to get more cashiers. Ridiculous.
Very overwhelming!Way too many people. And their poor donation attendents, too many donations to handle just left out in the rain. They should have cut it off from people donating!Sign of bad management. Also everything is too over priced.
Great place for deals. they recently got rid of the changing rooms, but they give you 2 weeks for return
Take a look often, never know what youll find
I love going there for my budget or just something i might need. They always have it. Price Affordable and there is name brand things.
Meh...its even meh for a value village. Everything is so overpriced. Looked at some tshirts that were practically retail priced. Ugh.
Its probably the best one around and yes Ive been to all of them what I dont understand is you cant try the clothes on but you can return them mmmm? Dont understand that and it could use a deep clean just because its a thrift store doesnt mean it has to look so thrifty lol
I found lots of values at this village. Definitely recommend
This store tends to overprice items from clothing and books. I usually wait until they have 50% off clothing every few months. Some of the staff have good customer service skills while others definitely lack tge training. One of the sales associate yelled at my son to pull his mask over his nose from across the store which I thought was very rude. My son’s mask was over his nose but was not completely covering his whole nose. She continued to keep an eye on us the whole time we were shopping until we left. I rather shop at the Tukwila store since it has a bigger book section and more variety.
This is a great location for so many finds. Its worth the trip, no doubt. Clean and organized every time with so much selection.
Prices are really high!I was kind of taken aback by how much many of the items were priced.I figured they just wanted to keep them.
This value village is immense! Tons of clothing, mostly womens. But a lot of mens as well. Great bargains, furniture, household stuff. I will definitely go here regularly!
It was great I was checking out and received a additional senior discount ...so I was Duper Duper Happy
The store has been rearranged and made more interesting to shop at.
Its so nice to go to the second hand store to rummage around not every time youre going to find something that you like but this time I did I found me a chicken fryer and a rival electric Dutch oven like its in perfect condition works great
Ridiculously overpriced! Ive seen items with original $1 price tags that theyre trying to get $4+ for. Very rarely am I able to find good deals. Goodwill has better prices.
You can find pretty good stuff here awesome
We shop here frequently. Clean & well organized store.
Service is always good here. Everything was clean and nice lighting.
I love this place I shop there almost everyday
Store is pretty well-organized and not too cluttered. I wasnt able to find anything of interest this trip, but selection turns over often enough, you might find what youre blooming for on a future trip.
People who work there is nice people.
Couldn’t find the restroom. They keep it hidden from us muggles. Turns out there’s plenty of other things laying around you can lay your hot sloppies in... ended up making brown in a plastic beach bucket, within it laid a Stretch Armstrong.
Very clean and well organized. Price can be a little on the expensive side compared to other similar bargain type store. It is still fun browsing and checking out what is available.
I enjoy going to these stores. I have noticed that sometimes there prices seem to be high do to them researching online sites like Ebay. So then I have to watch not to pay to much. But other than that love it.
A good place to look for classic clothes.
Love this place. They always have lots of stuff in stock with racks and shelves fully stoked and really fair prices.
Never has anything good, all the clothes are the same style
FYI. Customers can no longer try on clothes there and their refund policy if clothes dont fit is only a monetary voucher to purchase things there.
Super clean and friendly only con was I found peoples personal mail from bills and social security I gave it to staff to properly dispose of in stuff, so becareful when donating and clean anything you buy cause they obviously dont do that or that mail wouldnt have been there.
Lots of clean and good affordable things. Friendly people!
Clean. Well lit. Nicely organized. The employees were helpful and kind. Everyone in the store was following current COVID-19 recommendations.
Man they are exspenive. I can go to ross and get something cheaper then value village
I love Value Village! They are clean, and curiously professional!I get COSTA FOBIAanywhere else!😆😅🤣😂Thank you Value Village!
For a company that resales donated merchandise the prices are high. Definitely a for profit business!
I dont understand how value village and also Goodwill how they charge so much for things that they get for free
Moved some relatives, VV took almost everything, and we felt good that Goodwills CEO wasnt making millions on our donations. 👍
Experienced longer waits in the line to the cashier.
The kent WA location is super clean, organized and has a great selection. I always find great things!
Usually decent. New manager ignored a call for an extra cashier, then for a MOD! She was too busy chatting with another employee. Meanwhile the line is 10 deep to check out!
Clean, orderly, friendly staff, excellent items can be had there. All around a great shopping experience!
Lots of things to buy. Employees were not very nice didnt want to help customers when they needed it.
Very satisfying shopping experience. From the jewelry counter to the clothes selection very happy when I shop here
Some of their prices are extremely high considering they get pretty much everything for free.
Its alright Im a guy so I always think they should have more higher quality elec. and other items other than just clothes which actually are great. My feeling is that the item receivers are more than a little Sus. Thats my opinion however
Really had a great day at the thrift store
Stress free reduction. decent 2nd hand items.
Was looking for a good wheelchair and found a nice one, even on Senior Day Tuesday! Not to mention a nice iron skillet (made in USA).
Great value, and great service.
Everyone is very friendly and helpful will continue to give and buy there.
This value village has the best stuff you’ll ever find, I found a vintage Louie V purse for 20$
Very clean. Nice place too shop if you want to save money.
A bit over priced IMO but compared to the original stores most of the clothes came from you cant really complain, the staff are all really nice and helpful and I definitely left the store happy.
Love the caring people there. Very helpful and willing to help. My go to used store.
This is a good place to go to unwind the restless kids. There are a lot of toys, books and other kids.
You can find good items for kitchen, kids some electronics, books lots of clothing for everyone
I always spend too much here. They have tons of cute clothes in nice condition, including the kids clothes. And I can usually find whatever I happen be looking for in household items.
A good neighborhood thrift store.
Store was recognized and looks pretty good.
Nice store but most of the items are way too overpriced. these items are donations .. jeans are 10-25 bucks? Lol old shirts are $8 - 15. To the management of this store youre one greedy human. Go to ROSS and you an get a new jeans for the same price. Value village in kent is way too overpriced. GREEDY !
This value village is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful when asked. While checking out, my friend and I were talking about the donations we had in the car and the cashier informed me that if I turned in the donations real quick, I could get 20% off our total of $107. Thank You So Much!!!
Always find amazing treasures
Great selection of everything.
Over priced clothes. I can go to Marshalls, Ross, Burlington and buy NEW never worn clothing for a better price.
Convenient, always busy.
