Good selection of instruments that you can rent for school. My daughter rented a clarinet here, and it was easy to fill out the paperwork and get the instrument.

There was help.... The help I received was taking advantage of inexperienced first time buyers like myself buying my first guitar. The employee picked out three guitars for me ranging in price. As I played the guitars made my choice, luckily I had a friend with me who noticed that ALL THREE GUITARS were BROKEN chosen by the employee. Mainly the wood framing on the insides of the guitars. Then the employee re hung the broken guitars! But he did give us a discount only after we caught him trying to sell us broken merchandise. As we left we asked him if he was going to take the broken guitars off the wall so they didn’t get sold to another customer which he said of course I was just in hurry to help you and the other customers in the store. I bought a $400 Alvarez electric acoustic which I do love. It’s just hard to believe that the employee had no idea about the broken guitars and chose them after asking my skill level.

Attended Free Restring Friday today. My experience was awesome! While Madison changed the strings on my acoustic, Chris gave me a novice insight into electric guitars. Both were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Offering both great information, and great advice for my future music endeavors. Even the guitar teacher spoke to me about my musical education path. Thanks to all the staff at Kent Music & Arts!

Superb team! Very helpful and answer a ton of questions without losing patience. As a very new guitarist they pointed me in the right direction from finding picks that work for me up to helping get an amp for practicing. Cant wait to start my lessons here!

Honestly you’d be better off just making the drive to Tukwila guitar center or ordering what you need online. The customer service is 1 star the prices are steep. I get it’s a local establishment but treating people like they aren’t worth their time isn’t the way to do business. I’ve been in the store three times now to confirm this is the way they treat customers and it’s been the same every time. Would not recommend.

Every time I went to get my instrument fixed up, they happily did it. They also, had great service and all the supplies that u will need!

I had a repair question and in around 1 minute the person working the phones knew exactly what problem I had with my guitar and knew exactly who to talk to about the repair. Great customer service, I have no clue what these other reviews are talking about. 5 stars all day!

Mediocre music store. Its a chain so its very much just okay. They are not very customer focused.

I had direct withdrawal set up for an instrument I was renting for my kid and they would still bill me. Took it to the store and was told to call 800 number, the guy I ended up speaking to was very rude. To make matters worse I discovered they have been charging my account more than the amount agreed on. Theyre FRAUD!
