Very interesting place! Lots of spices, vast selection of deals, many Indian foods. If you visit, be sure to get a bag of Masala Chips- they are yummy! Will definitely do my future Indian recipe shopping there.

This store is cheating customers and selling expired Maggi masala noodles. The noodles were manufactured in July 2020 and have an expiry date of 9 months after manufacture. This store has put a yellow sticker on top of the expiry date hiding the actual expiration and saying best before 12 months from manufacture date.

Absolutely spotless clean. Everything was well-organized and in stock. Larger and cleaner than their Bellevue store.

I fly in from Montana every few months to come and buy spices and ingredients that I can’t get where I live or are too expensive to buy online. Apna Bazar has everything I need to restock my kitchen at an affordable price. This store is one of my favorite things about Seattle.

They have alot of indian grocery but no fresh sweets.

Far better than the over crowded apna bazar of other locations. Large store with two sections one for fresh veggies and other for indian grains, staples etc. Great collection of indian cooking utensils and pooja essentials as well.The store is located within a mall that also has a great Indian restaurant, a temple and a large water fountain to enjoy the summer evening.

I am always able to find all the Indian groceries I need. They get fresh produce every Thursday, so that’s the best day to buy vegetables.

Visited on Friday but all veges counters empty .Lentils poha also found..we might get few items but its not one place to get all stuff under one roof ..Need to look for other grocery outlets now .

Big store with wide variety of items. However gave one star less because some items that are available in Bellevue are not available here. Like the regular yellow jaggery cubes, in leafy vegetables also some items like moringa leaves, Gongura etc are not available. Also millets are not available.Update 4/19/2021: The management as said in their response, added the yellow jaggery and millets to their inventory. Also I noticed that there is suggestion board near the billing counters for patrons to suggest any products that are not available.

One older man in turban is spoiling the reputation and decency of this store, when all the other staff are really gentle and friendly. He roams inside the store aimlessly, screaming and staring at customers with superior attitude. One thing this man must understand is that there are a huge number of Apna Bazar customers who are much more successful and reputable individuals in greater Seattle area and they are extremely humble and down to earth.

Very respectful staff. They stick to their rules. I like how they care about their customers and staff, as mask is compulsory for everyone. This is really a good step towards prevention from harmful virus.

Kents Apna Bazar is awesome. You will find all Indian food, spices and fresh groceries. People over here are very humble and kind, they treat you very well. Rates are reasonable and only good quality products.

Such horrific experience I had at this place, I would advise other and I myself will prefer to go to other Indian stores than this. Why? Because people work here are so rude, so uncooperative. It was raining, I had driven from Seattle to Kent for some office work and my phone’s battery drained and the car charger wasn’t working and my wife was waiting at home wondering where I was. So I asked the man who was in blue turban at counter to charge my phone for a while so I could start my phone and could inform my wife and reach home via google map. But that man rudely said no. And it gave me a shock that in such 21st century, where we read all time and are taught to help others, without any discrimination, unbiased of any race and color, how come someone not understand someone’s situation if they are asking you for a help. Generally whenever people in today’s fast technology world leave their home, they would take all necessary things with them that they might need as I too had taken a charger with me which unfortunately stopped working .I can’t forget how that rude man ignored my helplessness and showed his power of the position at he was . And yes I freaking bought $87 of grocery from this horrible store. In my life I have sworn to never to go back to their any branch. Then I drove to Panda Express somehow and the server there helped me charge the phone Even gave me her own phone charger . And I could message my wife that I will be running late.I came back safely, When I told my wife she literally was hurt emotionally as in how can someone just say no to such little help she rather yelled at me for buying grocery from their store and benefiting them from my money when they couldn’t help me at night in heavy rain . She was right, I must have not bought anything from that. I cannot forget the face of that guy. Wish I could give less than one rating to this but google let me not choose less than one star. Plus thier stuff isn’t so extra good quality.

This Indian grocery store is better organized. They have pretty much everything you would like to buy if you shopping for grocery in India. Store is tidier than other nearby Indian grocery store. Prices are marked properly. Sometime I do see some of their shelves are empty like they are running low on stock. Other than that decent place for indian grocery.

Primarily a south Asian grocery store. I find most of the items fresh. Friendly and helpful staff.

This is a great Indian store in the area. Has almost everything that one needs for Indian cooking and desi choices! Usually I had really great experience with people, but one of the times there was a girl at the counter who was really rude regarding the payment (They only take Visa/MasterCard) I know it’s hard to maintain all staff to behave properly but it would be great if they could operate better in that case.

Very nice place very clean and organized nice little area has everything you can ask in a little shopping center. Was a little taken back by the parking security though telling me where I had to park though but thats probably due to just wanting to keep it organized

I have visited it twice now mainly for Indian veggies. I see its the best groceries (Indian grocery earlier at this place) with few additives. The items I miss from Best groceries are still missed here but they mention to stock it soon. The brand name feels convincing though.

This was opened not long ago and it was a pain having to go to Bellevue to shop for groceries. Having this Kent store open up really made things easier and better. Prices are competitive, stock is fresh, the no of options on items like rice to choose from is pretty good. Parking is easy and not at all, never had to stand in long lines.

They have a wide selection of Indian food. They are also in a nice new building that isnt dirty like the one in Bellevue. The staff is friendly and helpful when you ask them questions. They were a little shocked to see a westerner come in and asked me questions. I thought it was a great opportunity to share cultures.

Your traditional Indian grocery store. You can buy powders, vegetables, lentils etc etc. The vegetables are usually fresh and priced well. Watch out for some of the stuff you can get at Safeway etc (like cooking oil): they tend to be more expensive in stores like these

Apna Bazaar is one of the best Indian grocery stores in Kent. The space is big and nice. It is always clean and maintained really well. You get a large selection of products at reasonable prices. They also have many discounts ( 5% for 50$ & 10% for 100$ worth of shopping) and promotions from time to time.I have been a regular customer at apna Bazar at the Bellevue location. However, once the Kent location opened, I no longer make a long trip to Bellevue anymore.Just taking away 1 star for fresh produce. We get some good produce at decent quality. But the selection and freshness can be improved.

Its a new Indian grocery store. Very clean. You can get north and south Indian grocery. It is a medium size grocery store. Some rows are may be very tight for pickup the stuff. Staff greets with smile.

I will always find all Indian grocessories. Vegetables are the best part here.

Great place for shopping Indian veggies. They replenish the stock on Thursdays and thats the best time to get your favorite vegetables.I usually purchase bitter gourd, bottle gourd, tinda, baby eggplants, curry leaves, lady fingers, dry coconut, etc.They also have good collection of indian groceries like variety of rice, snacks and instant coffee.The staff is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
