They give you a good decent price on your trade ins. If you want to spend in there place then they give you even more back. But if you just need the cash thats good to. Its a toss up if they have what you need, via games cords electronics ECT. It would be ideal to call them first if your looking for something specific but going in is just as grand.. we have found a lot of old gems that were great. They have also a huge.. and I mean huge selection of DVDs. Films, shows, seasons!! Again its still pretty cool.

I had the joy recently of dealing with the supposed store manager. He was a bigger gentlemen who had a smell more overpowering then the store. I was attempting to purchase a couple DVDs from the stores horror section. I had a couple DVDs in my hand when the gentlemen ran up to the section and pulled about 4 DVDs while saying sorry sir, these are no longer for sale. I was a little disappointed because I was interested in one of them but, no big deal I thought it was for a customer. When I got up to the register though, I saw the man behind the counter and heard him bragging that he needed them for his collection and thats a perk of being a store manager. I know that they are only DVDs but I personally feel that this is a form of stealing. This had upset me because I usually love coming into Disc Replay/Traders while I am traveling. But, after this interaction, never again. Take your business to a store who actually cares about their customers (and actually wears masks for that matter!!)

Friendly people great place for comic book lovers and gamers alike

New staff isn’t to friendly. I’ve sold stuff to this company multiple times and never had a problem. Today I take a switch in and was quoted $115.! They took it and had me wait saying the price would go down due to scratches. Then the guy pushes my home button multiple times not gently. Then all of a sudden my power bottom is sticking and they can’t take it. I went to Play & Trade and they told me everything was fine. Won’t be returning. It’s sad because I’ve never had problems with this company before. The atmosphere was very off today. And I was being followed by an employee who was “off” the clock. He was listening two lanes over going back and reporting what I said. You should treat your customers all the same. If you didn’t want to really look at my item you could’ve said it in the beginning. Makes me feel like I was treated unfairly due to other reasons. not the made up lies.

The selection of ps4 and xbox one games is small compared to everything else and the customer service needs improvement

Awesome People working here. Went looking all over town for Disney DVDs and ended up here, finding out they had an awesome deal going. Found some DVDs to pick up and left happily after not finding anything else at other places I checked (nothing against the other places, used DVD inventory isnt controllable).

I was really impressed with this location. Compared to the disc traders in Lansing, this store is alphabetized substantially better. They have a really good selection of games, DVDs and movies. The store is clean too, and overall all of the displays looked good.

They always have a good selection of used blurays. The products are priced to move and the location has sales all the time to offset the cost of newer releases. They also have video games, board games, Funko Pops, plush and electronics. The staff are very friendly at this location and are always willing to offer advice, recommendations or just good conversation. They FINALLY got pricing stickers that are easy to peel off and at least have listened to us about the overpowering smell that hits you when you walk through the door.

As of today I will no longer be giving Disc Traders Kentwood or any other locations owned by the same people my business. This is due to a policy that was brought to my attention by a fellow collector in which Disc Traders will no longer honor coupons if they deem you to be a known reseller. I can see no logical reason for such a policy. It provides no benefit to the business or the community of people that purchased games at a store such as this. What does Disc Traders Kentwood gain by preventing someone from using the coupon they earned? A few extra dollars on their bottom line at the cost of losing the respect and business of the very people who shop there? If someone reselling items they bought in your store eats into your bottom line that badly why on Earth would you have such a coupon system to begin with? How much money do you possibly save (or in this case likely waste) by policing what people do after they purchased something from your store? And as a collector myself and a member of several groups dedicated to the Hobby; we are all resellers your store is just a glorified reseller! If anything someone buying your items and selling them again online benefits people that dont have easy access to such things in a location such as yours. What exactly is your goal in preventing people from getting good deals at your store? You still get paid either way and its not as though a 20% discount makes for much profit after you factor in the sales tax thats calculated after the discount in addition to the cost associated with selling such items be it through shipping, PayPal fees, or eBay fees if you choose to sell there. the market self regulates and your prices are based on online sales anyway so Im not sure how there could be any real reason for you to do this other than being weirdly Petty about what people do in their spare time.The real kicker? the person that brought this to my attention isnt even really a reseller! The only things I have ever seen him sell after purchasing are consoles that he is modded with graphical upgrades or other functionality which you dont offer anyway. Outside of that Ive only ever seen him sell games he has owned personally for yearsIll be sharing this review across all of the collector groups I am in in addition to posting it to any of the disc Trader locations owned and operated by the same individual franchisees.

Disc traders is a good store, but the amount of content they provide needs to be filtered a little bit. I understand that in order to survive, you need to have everything to suit every audience, but there is just so much extra that its hard to look through in one sitting. For example, why do you need to have 48 copies of Madden 07 for Wii? The selection is impressive, it just didnt seem... Organized well.

Super friendly staff! Love browsing the gigantic DVD collection. If you need a Bluetooth speaker this is the place. I got a nice, like new, JBL for $32, brand new there $100.

Great store, tons of stuff to look at and great stuff!Downside is, they recently started using some kind of scented perfume machine. When you walk in it is so strong you almost gag and its so overwhelming its difficult to breathe. I used to love browsing in there but now I just come in when I have to and leave as soon as possible.

Their product organization is all over the place but they have a ton of stuff at overall good prices. The staff is helpful and they have pretty good deals when you buy a larger quantity of games (buy 5 get 1 free), who else does that all the time?

Let me paint you a little picture... You walk into a store and breathe in some high quality oxygen that smells like some sort of mixture of body spray and fresh carpet. A store filled with your childhood memories - gently used second hand consoles and games that dont need any extra loving to blend into your already well loved video game collection. Where are you? You guessed it, Disc Traders.10/10 litty store with great staff and prices.

Service was pretty good. Their store manager and assistant store manager were so nice and so helpful in deciding what to buy. They had great titles, that Gaming Warehouse and Play N Trade didnt have. They werent elitist, like Gamestop. My experience was enticing. There was so much to buy. I think I found my new favorite game store.

Thanks for the awesome experience at this store.. we went in looking for a tool to open an old super Nintendo game and an employee instead opened it right up for us with no salesman vibe, which was refreshing.
