I typically shop local but local hours can be tricky on a weekend. This location does not take Apple Pay. Stock levels are limited on certain items. Otherwise the staff were cheery and helpful. I’ve honestly never had a bad experience here. Thankful they were open when I was in a pinch.
Pretty good shop with good options. Staff was okay, they kinda seemed like they didn’t want me to touch the expensive guitars. Pretty good pricing, seemed like they tried to work with me. That being said some employees were more knowledgeable than others but that’s to be expected. Walked out with a Les Paul.
Excellent Customer Service! Had an issue with a bass guitar that was shipped to me. Returned it to this location for an exchange. JAKE went above and beyond to call 4 or 5 other Guitar Centers to make sure that the replacement bass guitar was in excellent condition, before having it shipped to me. While we were waiting, my teen tried out some bass guitars😊
Workers were very friendly and helpful. They helped me listen to a few different sets of studio monitors. I docked one star solely for having such a poor selection of synthesizers compared to their other locations Ive been to.
The people there are friendly and willing to help. The only reason 4 out of 5 stars is the staff that was there on the day I came didnt seem to know much about ukuleles. The information I was given was basic and I could find online. I was interested on the different types of woods and what makes one better than the other. If you try to find that online you get lost down the rabbit hole. I did end up buying one from them and so far very happy with it. Im sure I will return.
Terrible service, didnt know the wood of the ukulele. Pretended he did. Didnt believe me that it buzzed. Had to show him after he played it. Then I wanted an acoustic but it had terrible fret buzz. Asked if they had a $100 acoustic but he said no. They did. Very slow and unorganized. Too weird to greet people. Take care of your gear.
Musicians who know what they are doing. Ive enjoyed my service from this place.
Its a toy store for musicians, what more can I say. Go in and fondle all the instruments you want, haha. The staff is great here, very friendly and helpful. Wish they had a little better selection on bass amplifiers. Had an awesome selection of guitar amps though.
Never saw so many guitars for sale in one place in my life. Staff was very helpful and prices unbelievably low. I hate that the mom and pop music stores are going belly up, but if youre a musician gotta love it! Thanks guys!
Very nice employees and a great selection of anything you need music related.
Such a great store and very helpful staff!
I got everything I wanted and more and the staff was really nice and helped me with every question I had.
Friendly, helpful service. Dudes with great attitudes
I absolutely love shopping at guitar center!! I buy all my DJ gear from them and will continue to do so for years to come. The staff are very friendly and helpful/knowledgeable about any piece of gear. Its really nice being able to listen to speakers or try out equipment before you buy it. Rentals are great if you cant fork out the money to buy a few extra subwoofers for an event. I highly recommend you do all your musical related shopping here.
I love there Guitars and Acordeón they give you the whole set when you purchase an instrument
Excellent sales staff and great range of equipment! Staff is knowledgeable and patient.
The staff works great.I bought a used DJ controller from the website, and they educated me on the computer steps I need it to take to get the new drivers in operation, finally got it together and even though it works, all the faders needed to be changed and instead of returning it which, Guitar Center gave me the choice to, Im going to keep it and take it to Pioneer and get it rebuilt.
Very nice employee. Knowledge able. Clean store.
The guys at this store are all super awesome, and always go the extra mile to make sure youre walking out the door happy.
Very nice guitar center, fairly knowledgeable staff, very helpful and attentive, four stars because they always push the pro coverage and everything else they have going on, but overall a wonderful transaction
Customer service is pretty good here. Nobodys really pushy, and they seem to have a pretty good selection of equipment. Prices reflect that of any online retailer.
I walked into the store not knowing my deceased dad was gonna hit me like it did!! I was crying and trying to hold back but i couldnt and I felt bad cause the man that waited on me didnt know how to take it... but he was great and had a lot of respect for how I was feeling at the time so, yes great place and very very gentle men that work there!! Thanks guys
Ive never been in a guitar center before, but they had a lot more than guitars in their selection. Store was clean, guy at the front knew his stuff, helped me choose a new pedal for my guitar, really friendly guy. Overall, 10/10 experience
I like the place and it has some good stuff for lil GR. Its about as good as the Towson (Baltimore suburb town border northward).
Do not sell your instruments to them.Theyll low-ball you 50% or less of what you paid no matter the condition or how new your instrument is.Just sell it privately or on Facebook Market
Was able to find the strings I was looking for. I wanted a heavier string than I had before so I could play some heavier stuff. Love this place. Ill be back for a guitar upgrade hopefully soon!
Great place to go for music things
Guitar centers are great! This one you can get into easily with a bobtail, lots of parking
They had a big selection of guitars including a good number of Gibson’s which seem to be in low supply in other stores.
Just bought a really nice Pearl snare. Really cool lots of options especially in the trade in area.
We got great advice on drum sticks, guitar strings at a reasonable price, and a good guitar strap, tho there was no obvious price on the display of straps. The covid guidelines are well followed and the staff is friendly, polite, and helpful.
Every person in there needs a customer service class. Very rude unfriendly place, no life.... it’s a music store but you can hear a mouse. Just a dead atmosphere with the walking dead employees. Unless I was just the wrong color to help. Looking at the other comments I think so.😜
Everyone who helped me was extremely helpful and I ended up walking out with a keyboard. I love it!! Definitely would recommend visiting.
Got a new Les Paul from John, love playing it and the customer service was overall very good.
Worst guitar center experience iv ever had!!! And that is truly saying something.
The people working here were super helpful and we enjoyed our time here very much, will definitely return.
Went in with questions. Got useful information
I brought in my guitar a silver tone Amplifier and to get knowledge of it. The guys didnt know any thing about them. Disappointed
Bought an orange 2 x 12 used online. About a week later canceled my order because someone purchased it in store. What. The. Eff. Sat on the phone with customer service just to find out there was nothing they could do for me. Lost a loyal customer from here on out.
Great selection on music instruments and audio gear.
Truly stunned. Over the past month I’ve dealt with guitar center a dozen times with random issues and concerns and every single time I left happy. Customer service at the call centers were AMAZING! Had to call this store at least 6 times and each time everyone knew what they were doing and I didn’t question the process one bit. Genuinely every request I had was met with a no problem attitude from each person I spoke to. This was my first time ever working with guitar center on a complicated issue and each employee seriously went above and beyond each time. I know there is multiple Jakes at this store but one specific one really helped me out. And Matas from the call center helped in all sorts of ways and even gave me his work hours and work email so I can contact him if any other issues came. Guitar center really blew my expectations away. I love our new piano!
6 employees standing around doing nothing would not help me find what I was looking for. They referred me to the one guy that was helping someone and had 3 more customers waiting. They lost my money when I walked out the door. I see why they need to go bankrupt. SMH
Excellent selection!
Great customer service!
Amazing place to go to I went into the acoustic, classical, flamenco, etc. guitar isle and every guitar I went to and played was in tune. The staff is extremely friendly and patient the guitars are very nice, clean, they have bright tones and sounds. Even on 4th of July during a pandemic they are there to greet you kindly offering masks and offering help. If I could id give guitar center more than 5 stars they are one of the best guitar retail stores around. 👍
I wanted to purchase a low G string for my concert ukulele. This product is listed on the website and in fact, when I called the day before, I was told that they could even string it for me. Well, first the employee who helped me tried to sell me a set of strings with a high G. After I finally convinced him this was not what I wanted, he said that I could not put a low G on my uke because thats not how they are made. When I said that in fact a lot of people trade out the high G string for a low one, he actually scoffed at me. He said I couldnt do that and had to stick with the original strings. I left the store and bought it elsewhere. Also, the sign on the door clearly states the necessity of wearing masks, but this employees mask covered his mouth but not his nose. The entire experience was frustrating.
Love this place! They are so helpful and friendly!
Super disappointed with service. I called to ask about a 7 or 8 string LEFT HANDED guitar. I was told they had what I wanted in stock, one used and one new. I drive way out of my way to pick it up only to be told they dont have what I want LEFT HANDED. Then the sales person still tried to sell me on a 6 string. Why would I come out there wanting to buy a 6 string when I specifically asked for a 7 or 8 string.... Furthermore why would I wait for you to special order me one to upcharge me when I can order what I want myself. You will not get my support anymore.
New staff, putting an pro series v straight on the counter....
Walked in, stayed 10 Minutes and left because nobody there to help me.
Purchased a Guitar over the phone and was emailed to pick up at this location when i went there to get the Guitar they had it in stock but when the guy Aaron was checking me out at the Register he stated that he couldnt sell it to me because there was an error with the warehouse . That was his Excuse and i paid for it up front and they Refunded my money and told me to come back in a week to repurchase so they can charge more money for it and not to mention Aaron Said he would Throw in a free Gig Bag for the issue . This place is a Scam . Will be Notifying Better Business Bureau and Corp .
Had everything I needed and very informed
Great place for guitars but keyboards are limited
Very helpful staff!
Steve knew the system and really helped with his insights, attentive without being pushy
Rather go to a local store than this conglomerate... Seem only to care about a sale then what you actually need. I ended up at Scotts Music in Cedar Springs mi, he worked with me to find what fit and felt right not just trying to get me to buy the most expensive thing there
Save yourself time and money and just order off of sweet water or Amazon or better yet look for local music stores but either way GC has been consistently a bad experience
My favorite place
Great experience! Employees were very nice, listened to what I was looking for and showed me exactly what I needed. Never a let down when Im here.
Didnt have what I wanted but staff was very helpful.
Knowledgeable staff, great customer service. Lots of stuff to play with.
Good service and good selection
We are always greeted and we find everything we need and more. The options they have in products are vast and a great place for new and old musicians. Even a great place to stop by, try a few instruments out and figure out what you really need. The staff is always happy to help and know their stuff.
Came looking for disco ball supplies, guy working kept laughing, claimed not to know what a disco ball is because “mirror ball” is the proper terminology. Cmon guy you totally knew what I meant. The keyboard room slowly began to feel like I was trapped inside a mansplaining dungeon.
Good service and knowledgeable staff
Amazing store always very helpful and friendly!
Steve was beyond excellent in helping me find a guitar after an online order had issues with being backordered. Lifelong customer made as long as they are open.
The guys at guitar center are always super receptive to me as a long time customer, and are always willing to help me wherever possible. I never see any one of the staff not working on something store-related without a jovial attitude. Something quite inspiring to see, despite the struggle for guitar music to stay relevant nowadays.
We were able to get the items and information needed.
The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. I got a bass guitar setup and new strings and Im very pleased with the results. I like they have a app so I can see whats in stock and look at prices. With the wish list feature you can save the guitars so when you get to the store you can easily try the ones youre considering buying.
My son got his first guitar here. Friendly and helpful staff, good variety of instruments to choose from!
Nice guitar selection . Kind of douchee im better that you workers .Idk I think Ill go to Rainbow music on leonard wgere thy will appreciate my patronage
Horrible Customer Service, employees were rude as hell and did nothing to help me just standing around
Very large music store. They have a large selection of instruments as well as accessories. The employees were helpful and friendly. They also offer lessons and it looked like they also have an option for renting instruments.I also noticed they have a financing option for those who qualify.Overall a great place for music lovers and a good environment to hang out and chat about the same.
I had gone to buy a Yamaha Acoustic. Great place. Great People. Great selection. Couldnt recommend this place more to anyone interested in the music field. Note: They have everything pretty much within music. The people are very open to questions and learn so much from there. The person who sold me my guitar was named Paul, great employee and answered all my questions.
The staff is always great the prices are fantastic and they had exactly what I was looking for a Jackson 7 string
The selection selection in here is just amazing, topped by their wonderful, knowledgeable staff. It doesnt get much better! Our daughter is taking guitar lessons, the lesson rooms are fantastic, safe and well equipped.
Fantastic crew of helpful musicians, never let me down when I have questions on gear.
Love this place very nice Employees and efficient!
Went there to buy a new set of guitar strings. They were sold out. I wont waste my time with them again.
Very impressed with not only the huge selection but knowledge and advice from staff. Will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone needing guitars and amps, keyboards, headphones, ok, Ill stop, because this place carries everything. Like everything..
Amazing guitars and great quality products and affordable prices i love it all!
Great and knowledgeable staff. I had the best experience purchasing my new electric guitar here. They will give you honest knowledgeable opinions and won’t push anything on you that you don’t need or want. I worked with Jake primarily and it was an awesome experience. Keep up the good work!
Has a wide range of instruments and accessories. The staff is always happy to help in any way possible!
Have dealt with this location several years now. Typically they offer a fair price if you sell used gear, sometimes more than what I paid on their website. In the past, they had a limited selection, focusing on clientele that could afford the likes of Gibson, Fender, Marshall, etc. However the trend after the remodel has been more variety, used gear, especially vintage gear that is interesting to see and try in comparison to the new gear next to it. They offer rental services, lessons and repairs. Would recommend if you are in the area and are in a rush for gear, maintenance, or want to see some vintage gear.
The older gentleman that works in the microphone area could be friendlier. Was not at all warm to my questions and didnt make me feel welcome.
Great selection of new and used instruments. Helpful and very knowledgeable employees. If you are a beginner, don’t worry about feeling intimidated because the employees are very nice and can explain any questions you may have.Prices are fairly competitive.I would suggest going during a promotion, usually on holidays, if you are looking for an instrument that is not too special. Instruments like higher end Taylor guitars, for example, don’t usually have promotions on them. They will also buy instruments but I have never sold any to them. so I don’t know what kind of prices they give.Other than that a great place to go for beginners and professionals alike.I own three guitars now and I never bought them anywhere else but Guitar Center because it’s hard to find a better price. Plus you have the benefit of actually seeing the guitar before you buy and being help by an knowledgeable staff member.
I only like shopping at music stores so its really hard not to like guitar center they have lots of cool stuff in stock right now too.
Great guitars, drums, keyboards, and music products in general. Helpful staff and a very clean store. 10/10 would highly recommend
