If youre looking to purchase a brand new manufactured home this is the place! I went to three different mobile home dealers and MMHC was the best one from the moment we walked through their doors. We visited and looked at their models at least four seperate times to decide on a home within our budget and Mike,Shelly and Dave were always so helpful and answered every question we had. After 2-3 months of looking at every option that their model homes offered, we finally decided on our dream home and started the bank application. At this point it was when we also looked around for a mobile home park in ottawa county where we would have our home delivered. The staff was extremely helpful through the whole application process and the approval went through in about 3 days due to filling out the application on a friday. Once we had all the paperwork in order Mike and Shelly went over every option for the interior as well as exterior and i can say that this by far was my wifes favorite part! Dave the owner also managed to somehow talk to the park owners and had them help with half of the delivery,setup and concrete work plus a free shed the same color as our home, which was awesome! We saved over $8,000 in just that alone!! I honestly cant express in words how happy we are with our home and how smooth this whole process was from start to finish. This Mobile Home dealer is by far the best and they never pressured me into anything even when we were looking at their home models. We are extremely happy with our home and the quality all throughout the home! Thank you Mike,Shelly and Dave for taking the time to help us with purchasing our dream home and treating us like family and still calling to ask how were doing. I sold a home and this company was the broker for the agent selling my home. The process took over 2 and a half months. The communication was very poor throughout. I did not get the funds for the sale until after the buyers were into my home. I was not informed this was the process. The realtor would make promises about calling me or taking care of things and would forget things often. I called the office about my concerns and at first they seemed concerned and then would also make promises about getting things taken care of and they too would not follow through. The realtor complained to the buyers about me and would complain to me about the buyers. After speaking to the buyers, it became clear that the buyers were not the issue but the realtor. This was one of the most stressful things I have dealt with. My entire divorce went quicker and smoother than this did.

If I could go lower I would. I have had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE working with this place. Ordered a new home, took delivery, fireplace STILL dont work after 3 yrs. It didnt work when we first got it. Hot water heater leaked all over the flooring and sub floor, didnt get replaced, defects under the linoleum were pointed out, NOT taken care of. Cracks STILL in wall. It is just horrible! All Dave could say is I dont have a fireplace in my home. Well we dont either. We just have an eyesore. wrong handles on cabinets. had to take what was given to us. Grout in walk in shower is broken off and pieces missing. Door handles were broke and didnt work some were replaced. most not! Doors are a piece. glass wont stay in. It is a horrible expeirnce. Come to my house and look at it! NO ONE WANTS TO MAKE THIS RIGHT.

I challenged their team with using a mfg. home for a lakefront cottage. They worked with us countless times as we modified numerous parts of the design and they were so easy to work with. They also helped me through obstacles related to being in a flood zone as well as visiting my site to make sure we had a good move in plan for the home sections. They are approachable, helpful, informative, and fun to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

We pulled onto the lot at about 4:45 yesterday, a Friday. Looked at two homes and decided to stop into the office thinking they would be ready to go home for the weekend. But Dave, the owner, greeted us with patience and concern for our needs. He treated us like we were the only people that existed, like we were his first customers! We drive to GR yesterday from Traverse City thinking we were going to buy from Preferred Homes. Nope, we will be buying from Dave!

We started the whole process of purchasing a modular home in 2018, we got a quote and for various reasons the project did not start until the following Spring of 2019. Champion/Redman Homes had a significant increase in prices and Mobile Home Connection gave us a discount to help offset the price increase. They did not have to do that, and they did it without any attitude. We still had to make some concessions to come under budget, which went on for a couple months.The whole process took like 6 revisions and not once did Shelly or Dave complain. They also responded to most inquires within 24 hours. The reason we went with them was because we visited about every dealer and type of manufacturer within 100 miles and the quality in the Redman/Champion homes we thought was best. Also unlike many other models, the Redman had a base package which was very affordable, felt and looked very homey and was of high quality. unlike may others which gave you a low ball price and then you had to do a bunch of add-ons to get to the kind of feel and quality that we wanted in an end product. The Redman also offered flexibility and packages that did not require you to have to think of every little thing you needed or expected. Add the biggest reason we went with Shelly and her father at Mobile Home connection was their honesty. They said what they meant and meant what they said. We had one place try and add over $5,000 for permits and told us we could not act as a General Contractor. Which was all lies. First, Indiana inspects the homes and Michigan has reciprocity so no further inspections are required unless you set it on a basement or put utilities in basement as we did. They basically tried to steal $5,000 from us. Mobile Home connection was very upfront on the charges and even told us on some items you will want to get a quote or do that yourself because we or Champion sub-contracts that out. So it will cost you more and you might not like the end results as much as if you had your own contractor do it. Like finishing a basement, garage or adding a porch. They actually took money out of their own pockets because they were looking out for us the customer and were that honest. We saved thousands by going through them and I dont think we would be as happy as we are with our Redman Home if we would have purchased by another dealer. We actually drove over 70 miles to purchase our home through them because of their customer service, honesty and helpfulness throughout the whole process. Dan and Christie

Was told I needed an appointment, after much confusion finally had an appointment. Showed up for the appointment only to be told there had been a walk in just show up and the person I was scheduled with was helping them and not available. I was handed a map and told to go look myself. Guess I didnt have questions?
