Way, way, way overpriced. Not just on some items, but overpriced on everything in the store! Guns especially. Most stuff in the store is junk. Would be to someones benefit to shop elsewhere. These guys sold my 15 son a necklace saying that it was silver and after it broke we took to a jewelry repair shop.. Where we was told it was fake that it was not silver it was steal . So we go back and try to talk to them about it and they completely denied selling the necklace to my son. My son has bought several sterling silver necklaces from them before because they have good prices on Silver and he does not buy any sterling silver from any other pawnshop other than them but they denied it saying that they did not sell it to him and would not do anything to replace it or give us our money back or anything pretty much told us we were screwed. So if you buy any type of jewelry from these guys I would definitely have it tested to make sure that it is not a fake because they absolutely sold us some fake sterling silver. I would never go back to this pawnshop again and buy jewelry and would not recommend anybody else to.

Not very professional and don’t trust their word! I contacted Tom and was told he would hold an item until I came from Thomasville so I gave him plans and estimated time to be there. When I got there a customer was being waited on so wo being asked if I could be helped I patiently waited and looked for more to purchase. A customer walked in and was asked if could help and she bought item Tom was supposedly holding for me unaware to me. When I realized what happen I was told I should have spoke up SORRY when I thought I could trust the man telling me he was holding it ! I wish could give 0 stars for business practices like this ! I have to change my feelings I was contacted by Tom and he is going to get me what I tried buying so if this happens I will be back for a second chance 👍

I bought a rifle from them off of Armslist. When I asked for pictures of worn or damaged areas they were very upfront and honest with me and worked with me on price. Additionally, the rifle was damaged during shipping at no fault of their own, but they still apologized and offered to take the rifle back or give me a partial refund. I couldnt have asked for a better experience from their end. 15/10!

Best pawn shop in the Piedmont Triad by far. Always courteous, friendly, and prompt. They will make you the best deal by far! I bring my girlfriend with me for great deals and the staff are always willing to dicker. Also, super affordable FFL transfers and the staff is real knowledgeable.

I am not pleased with this pawn shop. I thought it might be a good place to do some business but when i got there, no one seemed to want to help me. I looked at a bit of everything but was most interested about a couple guns that i saw. I waited to be helped but i guess i wasnt that important. I will not be going back. I enjoy a place where the customer is treated well.

I have had many great experiences dealing with West Mountain Pawn. These guys really do care. I read some of the other reviews and I can honestly say that if Scott flipped someone off they probably were very rude and shady and deserved it. He is genuine and a very great dude. So, I wouldnt put too much faith in that review.

Great customer service and a fairly decent selection of goods. They must pay good because in my opinion they are high. Example: I seen the exact make and model trail camera that I own. I paid 50 bucks plus a bit of shipping and that was 4 years ago they had it priced at 50 so that told me something. Similar thing with a Chinese version of a knife I own they ask similar price to mine which is older but made in USA. They also had a several good deals. Its like any place just theres good deals and some not so good deals just be aware the item may be in a pawn shop but that dont mean its a cheap price. I recommend you give these folks a try and talk over the price with them.

I had a really cheap gun and needed to make space for new additions. The internet said my best smart/legal options for “disposing” of a gun were to remove the firing pin and weld the slide or turn it in to the police. Neither of these sounded appealing. I had basically given up and let it collect dust, until I drove by this pawn shop.Smooth easy transaction. I offered to pawn a cheap gun and asked a couple questions, he answered them, did some research, and offered me some cash. Less than 10 minutes later, I’m no longer trying to figure out how to get rid of it and hopefully they can benefit from the transaction too.P.S. Don’t listen to the crazy reviews, they’re just crazy.

They Werent Helping Customers Or Anything. I Left. And Will Not Be Going Back. My Husband And I Went Down The Street To Kernersville Pawn Shop And Received Way Better Treatment And They Have More Stuff.

Be very careful dealing with Scott.sold them a Robert vacuum he tested it out only gave me 20.00 bout a month ago . Went in the store today saying I needed to give him the 20.00 back, said didn t work.all I know is it worked when I sold it to them I didn t feel like I was,responsible for giving him back tbe money he would sell it for alot more,who knows if someone dropped it or something happened to it .He got upset said I didn t have any intergity and he said he would remember us when we come back.we wi never go back we have bought many things from them.so we were leaving, Scott comes out and flips us off.very disappointed with this store

These people wispered to each other when I walked into their establishment.Then made me wait while two of them waited on a Caucasian man. They saw me, a brown skinned person. Yet, THEY said nothing to me.This opinion is mine. It is based on solely my contact and experience with the owners of West Mountain Pawn Shop located in the Town of Kernersville, N.C.ALSO, THEY ARE DISGRUNTLED WITH MY POST OF ONE STAR. THEY HAVE DEMANDED THAT I REMOVE MY TRUE OPINIONS OF THEM AND THEIR TREATMENT OF ME AS A CUSTOMER.MAYBE THEIR SCALE WAS BROKEN AND MY GOLD WARRANTED MORE MONEY AT A DIFFERENT PAWNSHOP.MAYBE SCOTT WILL LEAVE ME ALONE.

I found a small gas heater new in the box on Facebook market place that I wanted to buy from West Mountain Pawn, messaged Zack who was super professional and very quick to respond. We worked out the details. I went to pick up the heater and found a couple other things. This is a great place to do business and the two things I bought are new in the box and will be Christmas gifts. They have a little of everything PRICED right! Thank you Zack!
