This is the first review I’ve ever written and probably will be the only. This place deserves 10 stars and more. I got an oil change on my Porsche and my schedule is very busy. They accommodated me to the best of their ability. Got my car in and out. They even took me to work because I didn’t have a ride lol! Their customer service is spectacular! It takes a lot to impress me and they surely left the best impression. Dillon and his team are so awesome! No hidden added charges and no scamming you into getting other services you don’t need!! As always, the level of customer service is exceptional from Stuart and Dillon. Very responsive and frequent updates on progress, with clearly defined communication of condition of my car with recommended maintenance. I can choose what I think is necessary with detailed estimates. True it “ain’t cheap”, but it is worth the price in my book for the level of service that you get. You pay more at the dealership, and get far less attention and level of service. Carmines will continue to be my go to for service on my 911 Carrera S.

Im taking my BMW tomorrow morning to get a diagnostic and possible repair afterwards. Carmines Import will be my go to. If you like paying double what a dealership costs then you should waste your money here. I had both my Teslas serviced with Carmines and the cost was double what the Tesla dealership charged for the same service. This last service with Carmines, I dropped off the vehicle at 7:30 am and didnt hear anything from them so I called at 6:30 pm and they hadnt finished it. The next day I didnt hear anything from them until I went into the shop at 3 pm to find out what was taking so long. They basically billed me and sent me on my way with no explanation or apology for the delay. The only services I needed were tire rotation, balance, and alignment which Ive had done within an hour at other shops.Correcting statement about sentry alarm event. It was a vehicle driving by that set the alarm off.Unfortunately, I cannot change the remainder of my review and I see there are over a dozen reviews with similar situations. Overpriced, delayed services, and not being informed of issues.Customer reviews are for other customers, not for the owner to reply berating them for a negative review. The negative language in replies to a customer review is an outstanding way to demonstrate failure to your claim of customer satisfaction. Nothing would have changed with the past experiences even if I did say something when paying therefore I put a review so others might be informed of possible issues. Your checkout person should have been able to see a coupon was sent (fairly sure sending customers slight discount to return is a standard practice). I even mentioned I had received a coupon (sorry I did not have it in hand) and other mail when asked for my address to be added to your system. Im more than happy to show you what I paid with tesla for previous services for comparison.What is really bad, two phone calls and I probably would not have wrote this review. This was not a fun review but others should know what they could encounter. I do not intend return. Thank you.

Ive been serviced by this company for almost a year. Theyre very understanding and easy to work with. They also break down exactly whats gone wrong with the car and what is to come so it doesnt come as a surprise. If you dont feel knowledgeable they make you feel knowledgeable when you leave. At first i was not sure about using these folks because it would be my first time ever....BUT IM HERE TO TELL YOU THAT THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I am a verified BMW enthusiast to the point that i study them,read about them and lastly that is the only car that I have driven for the last 15 years, nothing else...Dustin and Stuart really impressed me with their professionalism and honesty, the shop was super clean these guys seemed to have it together. Due to some supply chain issues(covid) I was a little upset about the turnaround time for my vehicle, but that was beyond their control..When i got my car back the services I requested were performed perfectly and I was VERY pleased with the results!!! And this may seem simple but when i got in my vehicle and there was a bottle of water and a thank you note.I was sold...I will be returning these guys live up to they advertise. I took my 996 Porsche in for an estimate on a couple of items. They were very thorough and even found some other issues I was not aware of. I am going to reschedule to have them work on the car but so far I appreciate what they have done.

Took my car to have timing belt replaced and my transmission serviced along with a few other things. They kept me up to date on everything and had my car ready on time. Carmines has always done exceptional work!

After spending a grand for an oil & filter change and brake service in addition to giving them a referral I was begrudged for asking for a paper invoice (they insist on PDF receipts) yet they have no problem inundating me with paper junk mail promotions and bogus “checks”. After the hardcopy was denied the owner insults and says I can “crawl back” for my receipt. Needless to say I will NOT be going back to this place

Carmines has more than proved itself to be the place where I want my auto service done from now on. When I was in transition (purchasing a home in Kernersville and preparing for a move) my Nissan Rogues scheduled maintenance was low on the list ToBeDones. I purchased the Rogue from Carmax in GBO in 2016 and have always been happy with Carmax, which is a big deal, because I have experience every level of competence and incompetence and even outright fraud over my 51+ years of owning automobiles. So, when I knew I would be too far from Carmax to have them service my Rogue, I asked Chad, my service manager, if my Carmax warranty could be used anywhere in Kernersville. Chad suggested Carmines. Well, I finally am settled in my new home, and last Friday I drove to Carmines. Even tho Carmines was initially established to service imports, my Rogue was immediately welcomed by Stuart to be serviced. I needed a lot of service done, including items that Carmines detailed inspection found, one of which ended up being under Carmax warranty, which saved me $300 on my repair bill. I picked up my Rogue yesterday afternoon and what I found when I entered the car justified my belief that Carmines is the best auto service I have ever experienced was what you see in the photos. NO other service has ever gone to this extra last step to make me welcome.

My car was booked in for a service and for them to look at the heads up display that was working intermittently. When I called to check if the car was ready at the end of the day they said no, they had to keep it till the next day. They then returned it but had not looked at the heads up display. The car went back in about 2 days later. Again I had to call to find out what was happening. They called back to say they had started to uninstall the software and reinstall up to date software and it would take about 8 hours. I was never asked if I wanted it to be done but got charged almost $500. A few days later I had the same issue and they said well the software was the first thing to try, they would now need to replace the display and they would give me a price. They have still not contacted me. My main disappointment is that I was not advised of either them doing the software or that it may not solve the problem. Also, I had to keep calling them to find out what was happening.

They were very professional and diagnosed the problem with the car and did a full inspection of any other items that need attention. I have a used car warranty and would have loved for them to correct everything that was wrong but due to constraints with the warranty, I had to have the dealership from which I bought the car from to do the work. They printed out the full diagnosis for me to take and provided me with a loaner car while they were performing the diagnostic. I highly recommend them as they have taken care of me from the very beginning.

Came in with a coolant leak on my 535i. Dillon helped me out and got it fixed in a day. No more coolant smell and the techs were accurate on the first try. Fair price and a carwash when I picked up my vehicle. Dealership like experience.

By far, the absolute best mechanic/ car repair service I have ever experienced. Courteous, thoughtful, thorough and diligent. They offered free drop off and pick up from Greensboro! They left a mint and a bottle of water in the car after the repair! They waxed and put tire shine on the car and vacuumed it out.Blown away. No other import shop comes close.They fixed my Volvo sunroof leak with no problem and with speed!

Keeping a car running longer at peak levels requires both expertise and expense. Twice in the last year I have taken cars to Carmines after others had fallen short of the mark. Thats when the expertise comes in. Schedule your service on their website at a time convenient for you. Then Stuart and Dillon will take it from there.

I definitely would not recommend this shop. I always made appointments in advance but when I bought the car in they informed me they were running behind and couldnt get to it until the next day, which would turn into two or three days.I had them replaced the steering column due to failure in the power tilt.Again it was not ready when promised. When I got the car home I realized there were still issues. I took it back twice an both times I was told they didnt have time to diagnose it.The third time they said they didnt have time to look at it and actually raised their voice at me.I end up taking it to Mercedes of Greensboro and they corrected the problem quickly and would not charge me. Said it was a simple fix.

I had originally dropped the car off thinking I had a coolant leak, which I found out I did not have a leak!Happy to find out I did need a radiator!!When they were doing this service I did I find out I needed a set of front tires! Service is great very happy with what was being performed, would have liked to have been offered a 10 % discount on additional work that was recommended more than likely would have done, a little disappointed that i left without feeling as if necessary maitenance was over looked on my behalf due to prices were not far off from BMW quotes.

First Class!! I visited Carmines to have the brakes replaced on my Range Rover. I received a very detailed estimate from Dillon up front, and was given a nice, clean loaner car to drive while the work was being done. Upon completion my vehicle was returned on time and clean. I was impressed by the communication (very personable at the counter and over the phone, used email and texting to clearly and efficiently convey estimated work and costs), the thorough professionalism (I took my car in to have a radio problem diagnosed but they discovered that the fuel pumps needed cleaning which, when serviced, made the car run SO much more smoothly!) and the customer service (the text message notifying me that my car was ready for pick-up also said to contact them if I would have trouble getting to the shop to pick up the vehicle--since I already had a ride lined up, I didnt find out what would happen if I needed help, but the offer itself was extremely considerate). I was in town for an event and ran into a belt problem. These gentlemen went above and beyond on a Friday afternoon near 330 to get me some belts, replace them, and get me on the road before they closed at 5pm. I am forever grateful for their kindness. The didnt have to do that. The work was exceptional and the service superb!

We were not satisfied with how we were being treated so we addressed the issue with the owner - Carmine and he went above and beyond to not only rectify the issue but gave us a credit for our next oil change.I did want to make sure I left a positive reflection for Carmine and his team as they were more than helpful once he was made aware of the true scenario. As much as I wished the issue could have been rectified before having to post a negative review, the issue was resolved and now resulted in a positive experience. I am confident if we need Carmines services again, we would most certainly use his company and so should you.

BEWARE: Took my car in to have both VVT oil switches replaced. Carmines Import Service took advantage of me by charging an excessive amount for Job Supplies. I understand the Job Supplies cost is customary but $42.17 is EXTREME for the services performed. What job supplies did they use when replacing the switches? Could Job Supplies have cost that much because I had a $55 coupon? Note: Asheboro Honda charges 4% of the service charge or $15 for job supplies.UPDATE: Carmines refunded me the entire cost of the Job Supplies .

Excellent experience. From the shuttle driver through picking up the vehicle, this was the best customer service experience I can recall having. Attention to detail in both technical work and customer service. If you are looking for someone to work on your vehicle, give them a call.

After talking with the Porsche dealership, and other independent service shops, I settled on Carmines, and I am glad I did. Dillon took care of all of my concerns, and reassured me that Carmines was thoroughly qualified to service my Porsche, and then some. All I can say is wow! The level of of service far exceeded my expectations, with multiple communications (text and email) updating me on the status of my car through the service call, with clear recommendations and cost. I don’t think I could have made a better choice than Carmines. I got a much better level of service than the dealership would have provided at 20% the cost. I also had free use of a loaner car for the 2 days the car was being serviced, which added to the convenience of the whole process. Well they didnt fix my car, but I am not upset.I took a mini cooper in to get a new Key. This car has the electronic key fob which has to be programmed.I own a small garage that deals with only vintage cars, I am able to do most work but I do not have the capabilities to do modern car electronics that interface with the CAN-BUS system, so I went looking for a garage that could.Carmines thought they could. I brought the car in and there was a delay so they gave me a loaner car and told me they would exchange cars once it was done. I explained that I lived 40 miles away and they said that would be OK.After a day they called and explained that there computer system just was not communicating with the car and they could not program it and did not want to cause more issues. I actually appreciate the honesty.Why 4 stars instead of 3 or 5? Well they didnt fix the car and I originally had the car scheduled for Jan 6th and did not find out until lunch that the new key fob had not arrived, and the same thing happened on the 14th, but they did give me the loaner at this point. My suggestion to them is to always ensure you have the part in hand. That is my only gripe.On the plus side they were extremely courteous and worked to solve my transportation problems, and having run a shop I can tell they are a decent shop. If you have a modern car, particularly a German car I would not have a problem recommending them.Kevin

My first experience. I brought my 2019 Mini Cooper jcw in to get it checked out. It had only 5,000 miles and there was a problem with the aftermarket pig tail boost. They contacted the company and got it covered under warranty and got an new unit installed . They did not charge me. I was thrilled. Unfortunately the after market part did not work properly and I asked them to take it off and replace it with another part as well as getting a downpipe installed. The mini runs better now than before. Dillion and Stuart were professional and extremely knowledgeable. It is nice to meet people that not only know and love their job but take the time listen to their customers. I will definitely be back.

Stuart is the most patient person ever! Even though my Warranty company was taking forever, he was very patient with me and them. And I think the Loaner car (for free) is a great idea! Im a big DIYer, but when i bring my car to a garage that means i couldnt fix it. I bought my car in for an abs control module reprogramming and Carmines had all the right answers. They ask me the right questions so they can give me the right price for my repair. Their customer service was very professional and welcoming without making you feel like they were trying to get over on you. They also gave me a list of all the things they inspected at no additional cost. Carmines Import Service will definitely be top choice for my cars when i run into problems i cant fix myself. I dropped my 2011 Mini Cooper off for an alignment and a check of the suspension, and was highly impressed by the level of service provided by Carmine’s from the moment I walked in. I was immediately greeted, drop off took less than 5 minutes, and they sent a text when my diagnostic was done. A link in the text provided a detailed description of each issue they found, and even included photos of the affected parts. I have never before encountered this level of service from any dealer or independent shop. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring any European vehicle here, regardless of the original sticker price. This is my go-to shop for maintenance for our 2008 Range Rover Sport. The guys there are courteous and professional. Their work is quality and is done when promised. Shuttle service and/or a loaner vehicle is available, depending on the duration of your repairs. Communication is great and the prices are fair. Dont know what else you could ask for!

Excellent service. I was stranded by my Sprinter van halfway between Connecticut and Alabama. These people brought me in and found the problem. They took care of us very quickly. This kind of service is so different than what Im used to in New England. Truly appreciate the service manager Dustin Allred and the two service technologists who spent aday and a half to get me back on the road with my van running better than it has in a decade thanks again.
