This place was beautiful, spacious, and clean! All staff wore masks, were courteous, and welcoming. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries...they were delicious! Would definitely recommend this place!!
Good hot dogs and hamburgers. Flurry was excellent. Just a very good shake shack burger place. Chicken tenders are so so. If your in the area. Its a must try.
This is was my second visit and my husband frequents the drive thru. Both/all experiences have been deserving of an outstanding review. The team is nice, knowledgeable and eager to help. The ice cream attendant went out of her way to ensure my sons ice cream would be as safe as possible for his peanut allergy. I’m always impressed by the clean team and they’re interaction and assistance with customers in the dining room. Being in the restaurant industry, my expectations are high - keep doing what you’re doing, great job everyone from the top in leadership to the team members delivering on the vision and expectations.
Sunday would not be complete, if we didn’t wake up craving hotdogs. A lot of places are closed on Sunday so that makes the craving worse. The old supply and demand snafu. We used to go to the Dairi-O in Walkertown with my son’s little league baseball team but that was 10 years ago. That location is now closed but the new location on 66 is closer to us anyway. The #1 combo is 2 hotdogs, any way you want them, medium drink and a big order of seasoned crinkle fries for $7.99. We got two of the combos all the way. Let’s start with the fries. I like my crinkles to be very crispy, salty, a light golden color and the potato should be very light. The holy grail crinkle is a salty, crispy shell with hardly any potato. The order was a mix of that. I always eat the HGCs first. The all beef hotdog is good, the chili is slightly spicy, the slaw is slightly sweet and the onions aren’t overpowering. That makes a great combination. If the toppings push it to the top, the buttery toasted bun pushes it up and over. Seriously great and at a reasonable price.
Best burger in the Triad- thin patties with plenty of crisp and a soft, sweet bun. Never dry or tough. Excellent ranch dressing. Also try the hot dogs (they must brush the buns with sugar water) or their grilled chicken wraps with souvlaki.
We went to Dairi-o on a whim. Honestly a great decision. We specifically went for the desserts. Got banana splits and sundaes, so we didnt have to wait very long at all. They were really good. I shared a banana split with my son and we still had some left over. Really happy with our decision to stop. Also thank yall for being so nice!
We always stop in for ice cream.. lots of flavors in hard and soft .. very good, glad we dont live closer to one only because our car somehow always pulls in ... We are not in control 🤣
As much as I love the food I’m so frustrated with the constant lack of attention. It is without a doubt that they will always miss **several items from our order. Regardless of who orders. My husband is on the way home now and had to turn around go back inside (order placed drive thru) to request our order. A few weeks ago I made it home before our order was wrong and missing kid meals. These issues are consistent in the drive thru line - they’re not checking the food. Please train your employees to check before handing the bags, also please include the correct condiments!
Location was fairly new and clean. Atmosphere was modern and unique. Food was hot and fresh. There were plenty of hard ice cream options and also traditional vanilla and chocolate soft serve. Prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed our lunch and dessert!
We are new to this state and we dont have Dairi-Os. We decided to try it out after seeing the amazing reviews. We were not disappointed. The lines were long but we expected that from a place that is highly reviewed. Its the empty fast foods you should worry about.We took the time to check out the menu online ahead of time and so glad we did. So many options to choose from. I decided to try their two hot dog combo and chose chili, cheese and red onions for my topping. The chili is beanless and I was okay with that. The cheese was the melted nacho cheese that belongs on a chili dog. It was perfect. The combo came with fries and a drink. The fries are the thick crinkle cut fries and they were cooked to perfection. Lightly salted for us but I actually prefer that. You can always add to it if needed. The only thing I would change about my order is one hot dog instead of two. It was a lot of food. My husband got the double burger and loved it (he added bacon 😉).We also got two small swirl cones dipped in butterscotch. First of all, these are not small which is not a complaint, just next time we will maybe order those if we are just wanting an afternoon treat. They were so good. The butterscotch dip provided a thick enough shell to hold up just long enough to finish the cone.We will definitely be returning customers.
Clean and unique...ick Pepsi. Limited coke products available out of those fancy digital menu soda screen machines.Wings very flavorless and the wing sauce was appropriately orange in color but was sweet...ickWe did enjoy the grilled chicken wrap and grilled chicken pita.Would maybe try again if ever in the area.
Great food and so many choices! Only place Ive been to that does turkey hotdogs! Definitely gonna be visiting there again soon.
Stumbled across this place while driving back home and so glad we took a chance on something new. Their food was probably the best fast food I have ever had. Clean facility and very nice employees. Already looked for other locations close to my normal route to see family and will definitely be back.
If you want a decent burger here is the place! Our food was made to near perfection considering its fast food. Our drinks had no ice in them and were not cold. The parking lot was a bit nasty and loitered with the usual high school burnouts around kernersville. Thanks !

Surprisingly good food and service. Id never heard of this place in my life, its just a drive in I stopped at right off the highway. Needless to say my meal didnt last long, because the food was delicious. Especially the burger, not too greasy, the mayo was actually real mayo, and the tomatoes were crispy and thick-cut so you could actually taste them.
The food was very good and it didnt take long to get it. Although I think its over priced.
It’s Dairy Queen pr even a United dairy farmers restaurant (the way the ice cream counter is set up) of the south in my opinion lol. Good ice cream and decent Fries.

I visited this restaurant today for lunch. The restaurant is situated in an area where its easy to park Vehicles including trailers. The restaurant is well spaced out on the interior and easy-to-navigate. We were able to place your order relatively quickly and the food was served hot within 5 minutes. The management wasnt familiar with the current service animal laws, but after a little bit of explanation, we were able to be seated inside and enjoy our meal. The food was delicious and hot, especially the fries! I would definitely recommend stopping here for a meal. I didnt have time to get ice cream, but I will definitely get some ice cream the next time I visit!
Our lunch was delicious. Great hamburger and their soups are hand made right there. Their ice cream was also very good. So many flavors to choose from.

This place has always been busy, but during the Pandemic they developed an effective and efficient system to handle their loyal customers through the drive thru lanes. Im glad that they are continuing the system now that restrictions are lifting.The food is great, but watch out when they get REALLY BUSY the cooks take short cuts...not toasting the hot dog buns, two scoops of ice cream when you ordered and paid for three. But these are minor inconveniences.Overall, the food is great and the service is great.
Manager Amanda Robey has got her act together! Sat and watched her manage on a very busy Saturday night. She not only juggled the multitude of tasks while training staff but stopped to wait on a mom and her young daughter who needed some special attention. She served the made the ordervherself all while maintainin great eye contact with customers and had her antennae up for all the little happenings behind the counter.I am a manager of a busy warehouse and recognize how good she is! Careful or I might try to woo her away lol😃Great job Amanda

We enjoyed our inaugural visit to Dairi-O. The Jalapeno Chicken Salad was delicious. My daughter enjoyed the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries. Be prepared for a wait in the drive-thru during Sundays lunch hours.
Burgers and fries are delicious! They have delicious ice cream. Try a banana split, its the best! Wonderful atmosphere.
We always have amazing service at this particular location. Two visits ago our youngest spilled lemonade all over the place, I offered to mop up her mess, the employee insisted I couldnt and didnt seem the least bit phased having to clean up our mess. Tonight, our dinner service was no different. I had questions about the new boneless wings, the gentleman was quick to answer my questions. We always order ice cream, tried the hot sundae tonight and it was delicious. I didnt have a chance to try the new spicy chicken strips and cant wait to go back tomorrow to try them with the new sweet potato fries!
Customer servers need more education. Young man at the register with a cast was a bit to comfortable in his language. And the man who’s name starts with a W in a black shirt could have been slightly different when redirecting a customer. I suppose I won’t be back inside. Drive through is always nicer.
This restaurant is took the fast food by storm. They are the Chick-fil-A of hamburger 🍔 and hot dogs 🌭. If you ever start offering barbecue slaw with the hot dogs it will be a long day for your competition.
The food is awesome and staff is always friendly, however if you were in a rush this may not be the place. Love the food and staff but this drive thru gets painfully slow, restaurant is always clean and a pleasant environment.
Came here on Wednesday night this past week.Plenty of customers were inside the building and they were taking orders at the counter.I went to walk into the side door from the patio seating and as i was grabbing the handle to the door an employee in a grey shirt ran to lock the door with my hand on it.I looked at the hours and it said dining room closed at 9pm.I looked at my cell phone and the time was 9pm on the dot.I understand hours of operation but come on now, thats just painful to see a company turn away business just like that.I would not have been upset if the door was already locked when I tried to open it.
Ever since they opened in k-ville they have been packed, literally, always a line around building, always great food, best hotdogs ever, have not had a bad meal here, even though theyre super busy, they provide superior service and food, way to go dairi-o!!!!
This was my first time visiting Dairi-O. I fell in love at first CRUNCH!!! The fried chicken sandwich was crispy, tinder, and juicy!!!! The chicken filet was fried to perfection!!! Their milkshakes are THICK!!!! A wider straw would have been great but, it was a delicious milkshake it was. Hands down, the one of the best fast food restaurants.

Great variety on the menu: You cant go wrong with their tasty burgers, dogs and Cheerwine, and theres a fair amount of healthier stuff if youre into that. The only thing holding em back from a fifth star is the fries, which are nice and crinkly but just average in actual taste. Love me some Dairi-O, though, and hope they find their way to Greensboro soon!
I’ve been to this particular Dario on multiple occasions, different times during the day/afternoon/evening. In the drive thru, there is normally a pretty good sized line/wait time. But never like it was on this trip. Got in line (wrapped to only the front of the store) at 2:25pm and wasn’t able to get to the menu to order until 2:45pm. That’s a 20 minute wait for only like 5-6 cars in front of me not including the cars waiting for their food. After ordering, it took an additional 8 minutes to pay and get my food, which for this place wasn’t too bad. If you go inside, you’ll be fine and won’t ever have to wait long, but the drive thru is terrible. In my opinion, it should not be a 2 lane drive thru simply because they are not fast enough to keep up with that amount of volume. The only reason this gets 3 stars from me is because the food quality is always good temperature and tastes great.

Darios never disappoint! Always good food for a reasonable price! However they are typically always busy, I assume its because everyone else thinks its good too! Their service is great & quick for the amount of people they probably see on a daily basis. However if youre in a hurry maybe go back later 👍🏻
We love this place! The hot dogs are the kind that snap when you bite into them, the chili is just perfect and everything on the menu is beyond what youd be expect from a hot dog joint.

Closed early due to having to have the business cleaned. I understand covid has impacted business times however google still says 11pm as well as the door.Also I was already in the building and was rudely told I have to leave because the kitchen was closing, as I watched them making another customers food as well as have two cars in the drive through. This was beyond rude as my experience, usually if a customer is in the building, you serve them.Me nor my family will be spending money at this Dairio location again.
Great service and excellent food! Its always busy for a reason. Definitely try the two hot dog combo (all the way), and a shake. The shakes are so thick, you can barely suck them through the straw. This place will become one of your new favorite spot.

When we first got there, it was very busy (right at prime dinner time). We waited in line for a while, but they sped it up having two checkout lines. The food was actually surprisingly good! I got a burger with fries and a strawberry shake and I was presently surprised. Couldn’t recommend this place more, everyone was very friendly and the food tasted great!

Drive through needs to get it together. If the persons food at the front of the line is not ready, have a lane they can move into. That way, the car behind whose food is ready can move on out. We were given our food before the person in front of us and sat there for 12 minutes waiting on the food to be given to the car in front. No way to navigate out. Keep the right lane clear at the serving window or tell the people ahead to pull up into a parking spot so people can get on their way.
They have the best hotdogs in town. Buns have touch of sweetness and lightly grilled. I get them all the way and theyre delicious. If you like ranch, get a side of ranch for the fries, its amazing! I highly recommend!
Dairi-O in Kernersville has good burgers. Customer relations and friendliness leave a lot to be desired. I visited a while back, getting food for 9 people. It seemed that, by the cashiers disposition, that I was doing her a disservice. I stopped in the drive through today. The girl who took my money simply told me the total, gave me my receipt and said nothing. I thanked her. She did not reply. Thinking she did not hear me, I repeated it. She gave me a less than friendly look and remained quiet. When I thanked the girl who handed my food, her reply, as she turned away, was uh huh. There are way ro many fast food restaurants around to frequent one with an unfriendly staff. Friendly words and smiles do not cost anything
Darios in Kernersville has changed since opening a few years back. The service seems slower and inadequate and be heading in the wrong direction at the drive thru and the counter. The food and the price is still excellent!
The hotdogs are great, toasted buns, good chili and slaw, the right amount of onions and mustard. I did not like the onion rings. They were greasy and all I could taste was the greasy breading. The onions inside were so thin its no wonder why I couldnt taste it. I wont order them again. I should have ordered the sweet potato Waffle fries. Its worth going back for the hotdogs!

Got our food at the drive thru, we was in line for 30 minutes. It is a double drive thru. The food was good. But the tea was hot, because they didnt give us enough ice. But other than a long wait and hot tea the food was good!
Visiting Darios last night had a chicken sandwich which was supposed to have been crispy it was not bread was a little dry and I had ordered sweet potato fries they were sweet potato Wafers but they were so hard you could barely eat them I didnt have a good experience as this was my first time visit I dont think Ill go back
Food was delicious! The fries and shake were some of the best Ive ever had. Customer service was scattered and not as polite as Id like. Does one staff take care of both drive through lanes? If so, management, please consider hiring additional staff so customers can have a uniformly great experience.

The food is always good but recently the wait times in the drive thru are ridiculous. 22 min for 4 cars tonight and another 20 min+ 3 nights ago. I love the food but for the amount of time I have to wait I can go somewhere and sit down and be waited in and have dinner.

Dariri-O is convient to where I live. There is always a long line at the drive-thru and I care little for the food except for the two hotdog combo and the milkshakes! I will give them credit for the innovative way they handled their drive-thru during this Covid Pandemic!
The food is reasonably fast, its okay. So much grease in my burger bun that it fell apart. If you like eating grease this is the place to go. If you need something quick and now its better than mcdonalds, but thats not saying much.
Hotdogs are normally okay but today was horrible. Hotdogs burnt and chewy. Spent $50 and spent 30 minutes waiting here for disappointing lunch but will go next door to Wendy’s next time.

Darios I the best restaurant in NC by far. There fries are the best and there tenders, hot dogs, and there ice cream is really good. I love moose tracks ice cream flavor. Definitely recommend it. 👍👍👍
Always has good food! Forever busy but they get the lines moving quickly. Reminds you of Chick fil A as far as efficiency. I eat there way more than I should and never had a complaint.

I like Dairi-O in general, but this location seems to have issues. The products are as expected, but service seems chaotic. We had a simple order via the drive-thru, a twist cone, and a medium soft serve in a cup with the dip chocolate added (the type of chocolate that they dip cones in that freezes solid). The girl taking the order seemed confused, but after explaining 3 times that this was two separate items, she had someone else, complete the order. The guy that took the order seemed to understand. Then we went to the window to pay, and it was wrong and we told them and then paid and they stated they know and would fix it. Pulling up in the drive way, we waited quite a bit and were finally asked what we ordered, told the young man delivering orders who returned with a single twist cone and we explained and he took it back. Later he returned with the same cone dipped. At this point I stepped out of the car and asked for a manager who stuck his head out of the window and curtly told me that was what I ordered and seemed quite annoyed. I informed him that he was mistaken, as was the cashier and as was the order taker and explained the two items I ordered, to which he simply went back inside rather annoyed. After a few minutes we received the twist cone, and after another 5 minutes we received the Medium soft serve in a cup with the dip chocolate on top.I realize that this location is rather popular and drive-thru gets backed up around the building, but trying to overly rush to clear the line and getting the order wrong does no more than jam up the line more correcting the order and getting annoyed at your customers because your stressed out by the situation and got an order wrong is no excuse for poor customer service and attitude toward the customer. I would have rather simply been refunded my purchase and sent on my way than be treated as if I were the issue and being difficult.I would recommend that perhaps moving your staff around to different positions throughout the night might help with the stress of any one position, and while I realize it is hard to find enough new hires to make up for shortages, proper customer relations go a long way to mitigate long lines.
While Dairi-o’s gets kudos on handling their drive through from other customer comments they could learn a lot more about how to successfully run a “Post Covid” drive through from Chick-filet-A! First of all take care of those working in the heat, yes some are young, but those employees are not exempt from heat exhaustion or God forbid a heat stroke. 2nd- Yes, I know everyone’s busy, short handed, training etc, etc. I hear it on TV, social media, EVERYONE’S talking about this! Work on being the best regardless! 3rd- Re-read the first suggestion!Folks please check your order before driving away…….hint? You may be missing items that you paid for. Great or small it’s disappointing to get all the way home and realize you didn’t get everything that was paid for. Certainly not considered great customer service when you short change the customer.
First time trying the food. The drive thru was very efficient with attendants taking orders from the line. Good was delicious. The fries were BOMB😁😁😁
