Having purchased my first two acoustic guitars from Love That Music over the past several years (as well as all the accessories for both), I began my week as an extremely satisfied customer of our hometown music store. Tim & Sandi Love had not ever attempted to “oversell me” beyond my needs, had always made solid recommendations, and had consistently provided first-class service in every respect.So, I have never regretted acting on my strong preference to shop exclusively at this small, locally-owned business, run by two honorable people. So, on Monday, I dropped in to ask Tim to keep his eyes open for a simple, inexpensive electric guitar to add to my collection. By Tuesday, he and Sandi had located exactly what I had in mind, a great value at a very competitive price. I was delighted to agree for them to “check it out,” and ready it for my pickup late this afternoon. When I arrived at the store to pick up my new “find,” Tim & Sandi had picked out a case, and we selected a neck strap that also perfectly suited my needs and interest. Those accessories were offered up at extremely competitive prices, as was my new instrument itself. Not only did they find exactly what I had specified, but there will continue to be caring “service after the sale,” and I did NOT have to visit either Amazon’s website or any of the mega-guitar centers to find competitive pricing. Area musicians can “have it all” right here in Kernersville! I offer my unqualified endorsement of Love That Music as a wonderful source for all things musical! I have had an amazing experience with my few visits to Love That Music.Staff is is excellent. I am near a true beginner, and only knew I wanted to learn acoustic guitar.I had some business with the services offered here before regarding guitar stringing, tuning, polishing. And the lady did a fantastic job with same day turn around.When it came time to purchase a guitar for myself all I knew was the type of music I wanted to play, and a budget I was comfortable with.The salesman spent time with me, asked me questions, took interest in my needs, and fitted me in a fantastic Alvarez acoustic guitar that fit me better than any guitar I had tried before. It was a 3/4 size folk guitar and it plays beautifully.It was examined by a tech, and no setup needed, looks beautiful, plays wonderful, great to learn on and I was able to put it on layaway from December through January to pay it off without hurting my pocket too badly.Nobody tried to get the most money out of me they could or sell services I nor the guitar needed. They just genuinely wanted to get me into music without breaking my bank, and a guitar that was a good fit for me to learn on and able to advance on for years to come.I have a fantastic instrument, gig bag, several picks, guitar strap, and tuner on a very fair budget for entry level, and its professional equipment, they dont sell any junk.I love my new Alvarez and play it without any discomforts and playing some clean notes and its something I want to keep coming back to.Ive also got into the harmonica and again as a clueless beginner to the harmonica this store set me up with a set of 3 keys for the cost of less than I expected to play for one, and they are playing just fine and its truly all I needed.Tremendous value going through this store vs buying blindly online. They will fit you in what you need, set it up for you, and get you on a payment plan you can afford.Cant praise em enough!

My husband brought me a lovely vintage 1981 yamaha acoustic guitar from love that music, and i love that guitar with all my heart! Shes beautiful, in prime perfect condition and the price was just amazing as well!!!Oh...and her name is yam-jamz and she sounds like an Angel!!!

My go too place for music. So nice to have someone local for the little stuff too, drumsticks, guitar strings, mackie speakers, and every cable,or, accessories, it may be a small place, but thats is the way I like it, plus the owners are nice people who I met when I first moved here and have been dealing with since. If they dont have they will get it for you!

This store was recommended by Google Maps when searching for Record store near me. It isnt a record store. Its a music store with a great selection of acoustic and electric guitars, ukuleles (of various sizes/ranges), band instruments (and accessories), percussion instruments, and music educational books. Even though it wasnt a record store I fully enjoyed visiting/perusing. The owner is friendly as well.

Cory is the man did a little set up work on my strat and then had some jam out time on probably every electric guitar in the place good relaxing vibes and great string selection stop by and see them.

They also have a repair tech to service the instruments they sell as well as repair other instruments not purchaced through them.

My daughter needed a violin for her orchestra class. Everywhere I called wanted to do the bias credit check. I dont have the best credit and I try to pay cash for everything so needless to say once they saw that my credit wasnt up to par I was dismissed rudely. I was about to give up and make my daughter change classes when I came across LOVE THAT MUSIC! I call and they made me and my girls feel right at home! We got her new violin and the book she needed they even showed her how to use the thing! We left Love that music feeling like we just left our grandparents house. I know that it sounds like I got paid to write this but I want everyone looking to know that Love That Music is clean and everyone one there are some of the most wonderful people that I have ever met and had the pleasure of doing business with!

Extremely attentive, helpful, and patient - I absolutely recommend this store! I was looking for a guitar bag as a gift without knowing much about the guitar. The man here spent a lot of time researching and asking questions, showing me other guitars, etc in order to get the clearest idea of what kind and size it was in order to match me with the best bag he could. He was also not the least bit pushy about the sale; quite the opposite. The woman there also provided tips for me to help and encourage my daughter to learn to play.

Absolutely love Tim and Sandy and their Store. Always helpful and knowledgeable and dont mind you hanging around to try out the instruments before buying. Ive bought 2 Electric Guitars from them in the past as well as Cables, Strings, Picks, etc and have never regretted a purchase from them. Just took home a new Ibanez yesterday and Im blown away by the sound Im getting out of it when paired with my Marshall amp and Digitech RP155. Will always recommend this store to anyone seeking musical instruments, friendly staff and prices that wont break the bank.
