This was the most awesome whale watching and wildlife tour I have ever experienced! Delaney and Eric were very knowledgeable and so fun to chat with.They were great at spotting wildlife including eagles nesting in the tops of treesThe boat had me nervous at first, but turned out to be the reason we had such a great time. We got to watch and follow a feeding whale for a good amount of time from about a close to a whale as Id ever hope to be.The starfish and anemones were an unexpected delight! And the potato birds were fun to learn about.Thanks for a great time!!

We recently took an ocean wildlife tour with Eric & Delaney. They were fantastic guides and shared lots of local knowledge. We highly recommend Out to Sea Expedition Company. During our tour we saw eagles, seals, a variety of birds and sea life. We even saw a pod of Orca’s.

If you have gone on a whale watching tour with 150 people on a huge boat, this is not that kind of thing. This is an upclose and personal unique tour with only a very few people involved. It is peaceful and calm.Going on an Out to Sea Expedition was an amazing way to experience the real feel of Alaska. Delaney and Eric were excellent hosts. Delaney has a wealth of knowledge about local wildlife and tons of interesting facts. Eric was an expert navigator and an expert spotter. He handled changing water conditions well and did a great job keeping everyone safe. I felt super comfortable and welcomed.I am plus size (US 24) and was able to easily find clothes there and get in and out of the boat easily and without getting wet. Also, the boat didnt move or seemed very stable even if you moved or shifted your weight, the boat didnt rock. Highly recommend!!!

We went on a birding charter with these guys and loved it! Eric and Delaney are super friendly and we appreciated them being able to get us in on a flexible, custom outing. We zipped around and saw and photographed lots of birds! Phalaropes, murres, murrelets, cormorants, gulls, and even a Rhinoceros Auklet! It was awesome. We also came across a bunch of cute harbor seals and an active group of seal lions. It was a great time! I 10/10 recommend these guys!

We had a great time on our Out to Sea harvest tour! Captain Eric managed the boat flawlessly for a comfortable and interesting ride. Delaney pointed out the sights along the way and led the harvest efforts on shore. They provided everything we needed to be safe, comfortable and gather our findings, including an ingeniously designed harvest bag!I was a little concerned about riding in a Zodiac, but Out to Sea makes sure everyone is appropriately outfitted, so I was comfortable the whole time. Immersion into the natural beauty of Alaska from a position so close to the water made it a truly unique experience and a wonderful way to capture the adventurous spirit of rugged and picturesque Southeast Alaska.
