This Kroger is usually pretty well stocked, but you can tell that this location is in some need of some updates. As most Kroger’s are, the deals here are always good. The Starbucks is also convenient. A few negatives to this location: Cleanliness, for example it’s rare to go into this Kroger and something not smell odd/bad, and it’s a common occurrence to see food spilt in some isles, or just swept under the shelves. Wait times, if you come here during the weekend, it’s not out of the question to wait a solid 30 minutes in line.

Everyone is always welcoming and pleasant. The Sushi Bar is delicious. Sushi Chefs make fresh Sushi every morning and are always very gracious and welcoming. The olive bar is now smaller due to the pandemic but delicious and clean.The Banana Nut Muffins are so delicious I drive out of my way to go here.They also sell Grippos.The entire store is always very clean and all the fruit and veggies fresh.Thank you.

I have been a loyal Kroger customer my entire life, but lately the Stroop Road store is sadly following the trend of reducing the number of cashiers and replacing them with Self Checkout lanes. If I wanted to do the work for them, there is a Wal*Mart that is much closer to my house. Why should I go out of my way for Kroger, if Kroger isnt going out of their way for me?

Never any 1 liters of coke, aquaphor, choc full of nuts or anything else practical I stop in for.

Large natural/organic section, and organics mixed in elsewhere in the store. Interesting products not found at other nearby grocery stores. Nice pick 6 craft beer selection with some beers also not at nearby stores or bottle shops. Small but respectable international aisle. Good deli, cheese shop. Olive bar, hot and cold food bars. Many prices are competitive, some arent, if youre a multi-store shopper like me. Noticed a number of OOS items, or items that showed in stock in the app but werent. Fresh veggie section is small, decent. Very busy in the early evening. Late night weekends are fairly quiet. Side note: Really nice app with shopping list, product locations, coupons, and ability to send instant feedback on missing products.

Who goes on break at 6:30pm in the deli and has no one to cover it??!! Absolutely ridiculous that i had to wait 20 minutes for someone to get back from break when the only thing i was getting was from the deli!! Meanwhile a manager is just standing around!! Never again at this Kroger!! Terrible Terrible customer service!!!!

I’ve finally found a Kroger near me that has all of the items I need. I came in here yesterday and the cashier, unfortunately I forgot her name, and the bagger, I think her name was Brooke, were super kind and quick to get me checked out. This Kroger can get crowded a lot but it’s worth it.

This store has an amazing selection of fresh produce, a wide range of alternative options, and the sushi is actually the best store bought ive ever had.

All I got to say this store is the best one that I have been to, I shop there pretty frequently. I know 2 great friends of mine work there and they always tell me to come in for a visit. I know a friend of my sister works there too. I can easily get to this place on the RTA bus or I can just walk there myself. I highly recommend going to this place to get groceries.

After being verbally assaulted by an enraged customer after accidentally bumping them I was left shaking uncontrollably and in tears with a huge cart full of groceries trying to check out with 2 crying children age 1 and 3. Five or more Kroger employees came to my aid immediately and one asked if I was ok to which I said no being so overwhelmed so they checked out my groceries for me while I got my children calmed down and made faces at the kids to get them to laugh. Then they loaded up my groceries in the car and even a stranger joined in to help! So greatful to them for going above and beyond!! Thank you for being so kind!!

This typical. I dont understand how you run at anything when youre a supplier. Especially these days when you have a computer that does it all for you. When you get low youre notified and you order more. Thats not how it works here. Note my first quote. This has not been a one-time deal. 7 out of 10 times that I shot here they are out of the things that I need. And I notice the things that I dont buy but other people do for some reason they run out.

This is a smaller footprint for a Kroger store. They have every thing you could want. And fast to shop, quick check outs, and a friendly staff

Its a Kroger... a corporate store so what can I say.I like this one in particular because its a manageable size. I never understood the point of marketplace Krogers.I dont buy much stuff so I really only shop here for some produce. They do an okay job.

They never carry certain things. They are worst than kroger on Springboro pk.

Ask someone bag of chicken quarter legs ran out but ask another store do have any they did love coworkers will stop help you even on 10:00 minutes break They are awesome professional workers

This is an absolutely fabulous store. The lady/manager that works in customer service is amazing!! Every employee Ive ever encountered at this location has been nothing but great. I am extremely impressed with this Kroger. Highly recommend!!

This is a marketplace Kroger, so they have all the restaurant-like experience available with the sushi place and whatnot. Its not a huge location, so for as much as they have being a marketplace store, it is a little cramped and the number of checkout lanes is less than you would find at other marketplace Krogers in the area. But overall, a nice store as is typical with marketplace stores. And of course, Kroger has all the good coupons and deals and savings and quality selection of food.

Fresh Fare is Krogers Market that specializes in FRESH items, like PRODUCE, BAKERY, DELI & FLORAL. They do have a wonderful selection of produce, including organic. It is well stocked, despite being a very busy store. Workers are pleasant and do a great job. Lines are short considering the number of customers in & out. I am disabled and find staff very helpful. They load my car for me and refuse to take a tip! This is the Kroger of choice for my household.

I wish this Kroger was bigger. It’s always clean and organized but it can get crowded quickly. Most customers wear a face mask all employees do. Just wear one. I use a bandana. The first time I did psychologically it felt strange but I got over that. Our county has an extremely low case per population rate and I plan to keep it that way.

I love our Fresh Fare! They work hard to keep produce stocked, but since it is such a popular store there are often bare spots. The workers are quick to help get something and they are always courteous!

As usual, I used the self checkout lane. I generally dont have any problem but today I had a small issue. The sales clerk was very helpful. I really appreciated his help.

Ive always enjoyed shopping at this store. Nice atmosphere, clean, friendly employees. But since its been under new management they have started playing this HORRIBLE smooth jazz music. It makes everything seem tacky and cheap. Go back to the classical music guys, it was way better!

Barbara, the lady at the register closest to the self-checkout machines, was INCREDIBLY rude to her fellow coworker, the young girl bagging her lane. Such shocking unprofessional behavior. It made my experience shopping at this Kroger incredibly awkward even though I otherwise enjoy this location.

Great place to shop, but be sure and have the time if you go to the store on Stroop Rd. Always busy, isles are narrow so you are always waiting for someone to move.The people working there are friendly, and always ready to help me. I love their deli, and meat section.

I have shopped here for the last time today. Things here frequently do not scan the advertised price. Went through self scan today and 2 items did not scan right resulting in someone having to go check price and causing extra time. This has happened to me a lot with the buy 5 save 5 sale. Cashier on self scan was rude and argumentative I will shop elsewhere from now on

Good selection of fresh produce. Kinda bummed that they took down the natural foods section. I go there less now because of that. The more unknown produce is usually mostly rotted. Like most places, you have to comparison shop to get a good price.

My favorite Kroger in Dayton. They have lots of fresh and generally healthier food. Come here if you want a Fresh Thyme experience but at Kroger.

This Kroger have my 5+ star. They always have everything that I need fresh and variety of vegetables plus food doesnt expire as faster as Walmart grocery does.

This place is nearly always busy and so if you do need help finding things it is hard to grab an associate for assistance. It is a very large store and has a large fresh section including many baked goods and even sushi. I go pretty often, would recommend.

The remodel/reorg is pretty much finished so starting to be able to find stuff again finally. Taking all the health/organic products and main streaming them with the traditional products has made for a lot more walking through the store. Tonight they didnt have organic lemons which I normally buy.Im starting to understand the electronic coupons. Now I just need to figure out how the shopping list works.

I like running in here in the morning for a quick salad and I hate that they now are one of those stores that force you to self check out. I like my check out lady. She is always pleasant and most importantly fast. This morning they had no one at registers and made me check out which slowed me down since I had to do item look up and all that. Not the morning for it. I need efficiency in the morning not me bumbling around and I like the nice pleasant employees who cheer your morning up. I didnt ask to be an employee myself. I have a job. I sucked at it and it took me way too long.

One of the cleanest and well stocked locations in the city, I went to the salad bar and was once again satisfied with the selection. This location has a frozen bulk entree seafood selection that was interesting, so I tried it.

This place can get pretty busy on the weekends.But it’s worth it because you can find everything you need - fresh produce, bulk items, organic meats, frozen items and tempting baked goods!I always like to use the self check out especially here. There are these Young kids who work these registers and I swear they magically appear the moment you press the “call help” button. And instead of acting like annoyed teenagers, they are quite friendly!

Wrong day or time to go, because maneuvering around took skill with all of the stocking going on plus alot of people. Found everything I came for, and got checked out within a few minutes. Saved 40$ with my plus card and those appropriate coupons I get in the mail❣

KrogerFreshFare is exactly that. Their deli items are very appealing. And as their products near the sell-by date they will reduce the price by as much as 50%. Always finding a bargain.

Smallish Kroger with more specialty items than larger stores. Great produce dept, deli, specialty cheese, wine. Usually lines arent too long. No pharmacy because there is a CVS next door. Wish there was a 5/3 bank or at least an ATM inside.

I come here a lot. Good produce, meat, and deli/bakery selection. Food is generally stocked pretty well with a variety of choices. Fairly decent beer selection.

The staff is all ways helpful and friendly. Guy is a cashier at Krogers at Stroop Road. Guy is awesome always . She always goes out of her way to get to know your name and address you that way shes very quick at her job and very friendly. Guy is awesome!!!

This particular Fresh Fare store, appears to be well stocked,clean, and perhaps more importantly, very well managed. The staff is very friendly, and willing to help you find whatever it might be, that brought you in that particular day; and I dont know about you, but to me, a friendly smile and a warm attitude, helps my time go better.

Out of alot of pre-packaged salads. Items we went to this store to purchase. Staff were nice, but couldnt provide information on when they would get a new shipment in. They ordered it, just didnt come in.

Well organized, clean store. Well stocked, can find what I am after almost every visit. Wonderful staff - friendly, helpful and professional.

I was in and out quick at the self check but the cashier was rude there when i walked up to do my transaction the little jeffer got snippy with me. One of the worst experiences there. Another experience i had was when i went up at 10:30 pm half the lights were off. If the business is open lights need to be on. Also the 3rd shift stock wants to place pallet stocks directly in front of product thus making it difficult getting to what you need.

Nice store with great fresh produce and meats. Nice deli, salad and olive bar. Decent size for quick in and out trips.

This place has a fun wine tasting on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Jill and Stephanie really make the wine tastings enjoyable and fun. There is a great bunch of people that attend the wine tastings, they are always a good time. I had to laugh about the one comment here that says Kroger has terrible customer service. That has not been my experience with Kroger. The Kroger store personnel and management have always been top notch. If I had to say one bad thing about this store, its that the parking lot is kind of a disaster area. There really isnt anything that can be done about it, its a small lot and this is a popular store, so its always very congested. Just be extra careful driving in this lot.

Solid deli and produce department. The staff on those arrard are great, along with the cashiers. Meat and seafood department... Dont come anytime close to shutdown, they will most likely be closed early.

Worst Kroger in town. Out of everything I want. Horrible parking lot. Get run over just to walk in the store. Crampy inside with very narrow aisles. Run down and dirty. Cold as ice. Cold, dark, dreary and crampy. Then you wait all day to check out.Id rather go to the ones in town and risk being shot to death than deal with all of this. Wayne Ave. here I come.

Convenience is the only reason to come here. I have bought rotten cheese here three times. The people (NOT butchers) at the meat counter do not know a thing about meat. The older woman who works there seems to find more time to chit chat than to do anything. The place is always out of stock - and they are usually stocking at the worst/busiest of times. The stock carts fill aisles. The fruit/veggie section is just appalling, with food that is not only overpriced, but looks like it has been sitting for WEEKS! The bakery tends to overbake EVERYTHING. NO quality control whatsoever!I now go to Kroger in Centerville - WAY out of my way - for all Kroger purchases!

The store is fine, the customer service though out the store is OK, The checkout is iffy...but those folks gets the biggest thrust of the shopping experience. I have issues with the baggers..they are usually kids, So I get that...I just re-bag things ..BUT THE BIG PROBLEM IN THIS STORE IS PARKING!!! I only go to this store when I have to get prescriptions at CVS next door. I go to the store on Dorothy Lane other times. The parking is AWFUL !! tight, both side to side as well as the space between lanes. I have seen 2 wrecks myself. ..there are not enough spaces or room. There is a couple of parking relief opportunitys, but I am not sure if that is up.to management. But it should be looked into. .Parking lot? Crazy cra

This is a nice Kroger, with several separate areas, like a cheese bar, bakery bar, wine tasting area, hot food bar, etc. It isnt as big as some, but that isnt a bad thing!

Variety surpasses other Kroger stores in food offerings. Clean and friendly. Usually crowded. Self check line is great.
