While visiting the Keys in my sprinter based motorhome I discovered that some one had cut out parts from my exhaust system thinking it was the cat. After checking with my insurance company I made a number of calls to business on the keys looking for help. Most didnt want to be bothered. But European Motorwerks did and this was at 5 minutes before closing and EMA answered and offered great phone support. If I lived in this area they would receive all my business. Thank you for taking the time to explain my options.
JC at European Motorwerk is our hero! No kidding! My husband said,He saved our life! Thats an exaggeration but he worked really hard to get our vehicle done same day he got the part.We traveled down to the Keys from NC. When we hit Orlando our battery warning light came on. I googled Sprinter mechanic key largo and EU motorwerk came up. I called and spoke to JC and we talked about the problem. We made it into his shop at 3:00 on Friday. He did diagnostics for us same day, ordered the parts and had us on our way on the following Monday by 5:00. We tried to give him a tip but he refused. We are so thankful we called him. He worked so hard to get our van back to us the same day because he knew how important it was to us. I want to bring my sprinter down here so he can do all the servicing from now on ;)He was honest and straight forward with no fluff. Hes a super busy guy so I can understand that people thought he wasnt warm and fuzzy in their reviews.I dont even care about that. I care about his knowledge and the fact that he was able to get us on our way quickly. Thanks JC!
Best European shop in the area
Excellent repair facility which knows what their doing
JC the big guy has been working on my sprinters since 2007 when I first bought one. I had a 2007, 2008 put over 200,000 on each one got rid of them now I have 3 sprinters 2014,2015,2016. He maintains and keeps these things running smooth. If you have a Mercedes Benz, Porsche or BMW.There is no reason to go to the main land. Keep it local This is what they specialize in. Take care of your ride it will take care of you. I rely on my vehicles to make a living they are mobile shops and JC keeps me in business.
Thank goodness for euro motorwerks!...thanks for taking care of our benz and that issue we had...so far, so good...car is running great...best place to take your benz in the keys...xo
This shop is a hack. They will do more damage then they actually repair and charge you dealer rates for it. I recently purchased a vehicle from one of their previous customers. They did clutch work. I had to replace the clutch and every single bolt was stripped and several bolts were missing. You would be better off towing your car to homestead then trusting these hacks with your expensive BMW
Excellent mechanic
We are so grateful to the folks at European Motorwek Autohaus for their help with our Mercedes Sprinter RV recently. We had a number of warning lights pop up on our dashboard just as we were driving onto the Keys for a 3 week vacation in Key West. Fortunately we found this business in Key Largo. JC diagnosed the problem when we pulled in late Friday afternoon and had the repair completed by Monday afternoon (and they were, of course, closed on Saturday and Sunday!). Vacation saved!
Very pleased with their knowledge and response to our problem
By far the best auto mechanic in Monroe County hands down
Beyond a doubt, an honest, darn good mechanic which are hard to find in south florida. Jc the owner and his staff and family care, and this family run business is like family to us. We have taken cars to them for over 14 years, and would buy cars specifically knowing JC would take care of them as needs and when needed. Don’t let JCs dry sense of humor steer you away, he is the best and a darn good honest mechanic, which these days If often an oxymoron. Respectfully, Dr Prosek
I always bring my mercedes here to be serviced, he always does a great job and really gives a fair price. Never disappointed.
Expensive, however their work on our white BMW has it runni g perfectly.
We have had Porsches as long as I can recall so we have had quite a bit of service experience over decades at different Porsche dealers, independent european specialty shops and non-specialty shops. The owner of this shop has seemed capable and knowledgable with our later model Porsches. He acyually works on vehicles so you can talk directly to a knowledgable mechanic rather than a service writer who may not know much and tries shrinks your comments so he can get your vehicle in the door. Being able to talk with the person working on my vehicle is very valuable to me. (I have some mechanical knowledge being an aircraft inspector.)The owner has seemed willing to try to explain things, answer questions and provide meaningful advice although his communications are sometimes a bit hard to follow. The shop is small so probably does not have every bit of sophisticated technical equipment that a big Porsche dealer may have and I have found that he makes a referral as needed. Because he is busy working on cars he is a little brisk at times so if a slick talking pretty boy or gal at the service writer desk is important to you you may not be happy.I have found lots of big shiny dealerships are very much oriented to digging deep into your wallet than this shop.BJ 212 Panamera 4 S & 1992 968
Heavy set gentleman was very rude and short with me before I could even ask him about working on my vehicle. I drive a Saab, a European vehicle, it was sad how they turned me away when I clearly had further questions even tho they weren’t going to work on it.
