The thing about Publix is price outrageous. A quarter of a mile up the street they have the same pretzels for a dollar that Publix charges $4 for. They have the same soup for $1 that Publix charges $3.49 for. And the list goes on these two items should give you an idea of how the rest of it goes. And now since its becoming snowbird season and all the snowbirds are coming everything else is going up about 50 cents everything in the store from 50 cents to $2 more than any place else. The peanuts I feed the squirrels with or 227 now theyre 350. And will probably go up the place is a rip off but then its the only game in town and they count on that. I should be arrested for a price gouging but theres no emergency right now they just do it so they can make more money. And you dont have a choice of going somewhere else. Because the store that has things cheaper doesnt have everything that they have

This store is amazing! From a retailer’s perspective it was nearly perfect. We stopped in every morning while vacationing and I couldn’t be more impressed. The store was always bright and clean, fully stocked, very well recovered and expertly merchandised. Every endcap was full, faced and had a “money maker” shelf to drive basket size. I didn’t see a single empty peg on a power panel, the most difficult fixtures to keep full but add a ton of value when maintained well. For everyone in retail that thinks all the little things you do go unnoticed by customers… they absolutely do not! Great job to the management and team at this store, all of your hard work is certainly paying off!

Publix is always great, but today saw something ridiculous. The bakery lady arguing with a customer because of .50 cents on the cuban bread. Bread had been labeled at $1.89, but sign had Cuban bread on sale for $1.39. All she had to do is give the guy the .50 cents. and admit it was a mistake. But no, she argued and argued. I had to walk away and not finalize my order. Someone was having a bad morning.

Christoper helped us put our groceries away into our car and took our cart back to the building. Very helpful and a gentleman. Thank you. This store was very clean and the all the workers were very friendly.

I cannot be the only one that buys chicken breast and sometimes whole chicken, that no matter what is rubber. It disgusts me because its inedible and you can spend your whole time marinating for a day after prepping it then cooking invite your guests or just your family for a meal and have to throw it away. Its unacceptable!

Friendly and helpful staff here!! Neat & tidy store. Most noticeable is staff is always ready to answer questions and help with products! Cashiers & baggers are super. Today Cynthia & David ended our shopping on high note :-). Yesterday Victoria was just awesome in helping me understand the electronic coupons & sales - most patient & helpful. While In produce Mellow is there to help with kindness. Beverage guy went right back to check stock for us. Thank You Everyone:-)))

Living in the Keys there are two grocery options and I do not like the other choice. The store is always clean, staff is phenomenal and as long as we dont go on the weekend we can find everything we need. Publix branded foods are usually as good as the name brands so we purchase more than we have at other stores

Clean and organized, our go to grocery store when in town. Subs are delicious and staff was great at communicating with a bunch of people waiting in line. Check out pretty speedy as well.

I LOVE this publix. It is so clean and everyone is so friendly and helpful there. So DRASTICALLY different from Winn Dixie in Key Largo which is just horrible and dirty.

I have been going to this Publix (key largo) for close to 3 years. Love the environment and how helpful and friendly all employees are. Some even go out of their way to make sure you have what you need sometimes even ordering items that are essential in both my families households. They look out for their customers. Although I will always miss old management. I appreciate and say welcome to the new management. Loyal customers for life. Publix is one of the only stores I have gone to since I was a little girl! I’m 30 now so that says a lot. Sometimes they are a bit pricey but regardless, Publix always has a loyal customer for life. Thank you all for everything. We greatly appreciate you all.

Sadly I worked at this Publix. The store itself is nice. Very expensive, but nice. As far as employment, I dont recommend it. Extremely unfair. Management is lost in space. Its like a military camp. Employees in their late age are being asked to bring in shopping carts in the hit son while young ones bag and cashier. They work you to the bone, no consideration. I can go on and on. Try it, youll live it. Lol

Overall a great store! Management is excellent and the departments are well stocked. Keep in mind this store is impacted greatly by tourists. During peak times it may take a few extra minutes to get certain items in different departments.

Good supermarket. Even has free chickens in parking lot if you can catch them.

Placed an order for 3 large party platters totalling over $150 dollars. Rotten Meat.On January 20th we purchased 3 steaks. Two Fillets and one Rib eye.One of the Filets was ROTTEN. My wife took a bite and said its taste and texture was like liver. The smell of only one side of that one piece was awful. When we notified the manager he wanted us to bring it back for a refund. It was promptly thrown in the trash. Be aware of the rotten meat.

The Hot Deli is great in this vacation getaway. You are able to get quality hot food for your hotel room or for your travel without it costing you an arm and a leg. The prices for other items at this store appear on point and there is not major price gouging on most items other than red meat.

Let me start by saying we are from Lakeland so maybe being from Publix hometown has us spoiled. This store is Publix in name only. The deli staff will be in hiding an hour before closing and when they finally do come out, they have as already cleaned the machines so they don’t want to slice anything. The lady sent me over to look in the pre sliced case for both items I asked for. The first she had to slice, because there wasn’t any in the case or in the back. The second she found a presliced pack in the back. I avoid going to the deli here, trust me I checked the presliced section first. Because I don’t like being treated like I’m a bother. Also, forget special orders they can’t be bothered to put them in and even if they do after you came back and they couldn’t find it in the system. They don’t know if it will ever come and they get annoyed if you ask about it when you are in the store. Also, I’ve seen staff out front smoking in their uniforms. Maybe that is ok, but I have never seen that in Lakeland.

They have curbside pickup and the staff is great. They brought out my groceries quickly and even rebagged some groceries when they saw the bags had ripped.

Deli service is SOOOOOO rude and slow and did I say RUDE . They look right at you and then carry on their conversation acting as if you’re not there. The rest of the staff seems friendly although the store could use some serious renovations.

Publix has what you need. The deli service is EXTREMELY rude and slow. The rest of the team seems friendly and helpful. Ive been here for a few weeks. Same thing every time. Deli service SLOW and RUDE. Guess thats the norm for this Publix.But they have what you need. Theyre clean and very organized.

Came in for a sandwich, deli had no bread. The person making sandwiches was turning customers away left and right because, according to her, there was no bread. Nevermind that is Publix allows them to go get more bread from the bakery which is what I did. I walked over to the bakery and got a loaf of Cuban bread, which they had plenty of, and brought it back to the deli. By then the person who was working the sandwich like went on break because she had nothing to do. They sandwich station was disgusting! Not up to health and safety standards at all! There was meat sitting out of refrigeration and on the cutting board. They only reason this store isnt get a 1 store review is because the rest of the store was decent with most things stocked and the store appeared clean. This deli was a disaster.

Very gd customer service

I totally love this publix but had a bad experience today when it comes to the lottery machine. I purchased a $30 scratch off from the machine (Fastest Road To $1,000,000) but when it came out from the machine it was cutt off right before the scan and gave me the scan from the scratch off still in the machine. Now if youre a big scratch off person like me then youll understand how I feel because those couldve been the winners but since I said something to the manager they gave me a different scratch off ticket and kept the one that I purchased Which could have been the winners but now Ill never know. I honestly dont blame it on publix but I still feel robbed.

Pricey but good selection

Expensive, probably florida bc they dont have personal property tax so everything seems more expensive. However the staff was supper friendly and very willing to help. From the help of staff it got 4 stars instead of three.
