Thank goodness for Caesar!! We bought a Classic fridge from Big Chill Appliances and the water dispenser didnt work. Caeser had it working in under 15 min. The water dispenser works perfect!! Caeser called ahead, arrived exactly when he said he would and was a super nice guy! Will definitely recommend!

The technician name is Cesar. His service was absolutely outstanding and without questions. His positive attitude, explanation of the problem and its solution was just excellent. He was very detailed, clean and everything done with a smile. He observed all COVID-19 protocols in my house. I was just astonished of how professional and detailed Cesar was. There arent enough good things I can say about Certified Appliance Repair OR Jesse, one of their main mechanics! The communication from him and the company were FIVE STAR! Not to mention, Jesses attention to detail and skill! He had to work long and hard to fix an impossible washing machine (that we couldnt replace due to space issues) and he was able to get the right part and fix it! Works like a charm now! I had originally contacted Certified Appliance Repair because they were listed as a Maytag Certified Repair place (which they are) but now I will ALWAYS use them for ANY household repair!!! My Frigidaire r refrigerator and my Frigidaire dryer were not working I called Certified Appliance they made an appointment for me Cesar showed up on time to check everything out and then had to order parts and then called me as soon as the parts were in and came in and fixed both appliances he was very organized and cleaned up after his work. Best appliance service in the Lower Keys. Cesar is prompt, professional and gets the job done. Once he and his team are given a service call or an order for a new appliance you don’t have to think about it again. The job gets done. No on going conversations. We called Certified Appliance yesterday 08/17/20.An eldercare clients refrigerator had stopped working, with a large grocery order having just been delivered the day beforeRepairman (James) arrived within the hour and gave us the bad news...it would cost more to fix than the 8 year-old fridge was worth and he did not think we could get another for 2 days...it was already after 3pm.However, James had us call his Boss (Mike) at the Certified Appliance Office, and in LESS than 2 hours (5pm) we had a new refrigerator installed and the old one hauled away!Mike (the owner), halved the emergency delivery fee because we were repeat customers and only charged $25 for the disposal of the old one.This is my elder clients second time to deal with Certified Appliance and we cannot sy enough good things about their business ethic and commitment to service.Thank You Certified Appliance.Fiona Lepperd on behalf of Mr. H

I’ve worked with Certified Appliance for years, both professionally and for my own home, and have never been disappointed. They are always professional, effective and quick to schedule. They are absolutely horrible...them and the warranty companies they work with. We were there on vacation for 10 days and our drier was broken. We called the warranty company and they said they couldnt get someone out there for two weeks. Then this company (certified appliance) had an opening and also told us theyd have the parts on the truck (at that time we had started taking the drier apart because we needed it fixed before we left). We didnt put the drier back together because we wanted to save the Technician that time. Technician came, and as you might guess did not have the parts but said hed order and return and repair so we left the door unlocked for them. A week goes by and no call....WE finally get in touch with them to have them tell us since we started to disassemble the drier they would not do the warranty work because of liability concerns. This was a freaking 2 year old GE drier that gets used maybe 35 times a year and the bearings were shot and this company says they cant fix it because of liability concerns but they are supposed to be the repair experts. Avoid these idiots at all costs....you think you are doing them a favor by helping to disassemble the unit so they can get in and out faster but instead they use it against you...no good deed goes unpunished.

This company is seriously the best appliance company in the Keys! Its often difficult to get anyone to work with any kind of urgency in the Keys, but their employees do! Debbie in the office is always super communicative and always does everything she can to accommodate last minute requests for service. Ceaser, Jesse and the rest of the team sure do know what they are doing! Every time I have needed their expertise, they have been there for me. And I love how honest they are. Absolutely fabulous! Certified Appliance is seriously the best! They were on time, fast & you cant beat the price. They came out to look at my dishwasher to see if we could repair & it ended up needing to be replaced. Within 3 days I had a brand new dishwasher (it would of been the next day but I had to work). Really great team, all 3 techs onsite were super nice & the Mgr on the phone was very helpful. This kind of service is unheard of in The Keys. Great job guys! Thank you :)

Were lucky to have this company in Key West and the upper Keys must feel the same since they cover the 120 miles of Monroe County on a regular basis. We were spending 2 weeks in Big Pine at a friend’s house when the washer malfunctioned. We googled repair services and found Certified Appliance Repair and seemed very reputable so called and scheduled an appointment. We were impressed from the very first phone call. Jesse and James came to repair the machine and found it would cost more to repair than to replace. The owner of the home purchased a new machine from Certified Appliance and Jesse and James came back the following day and installed the new machine. Excellent service! Would highly recommend them without any reservation!

This review is difficult for me because I really like Caesar and the staff at Certified Appliance has been mostly professional (with a few exceptions), however it’s been over two years now and they still have not repaired the ice maker on our Samsung fridge! They have replaced parts, including motors and replaced the whole ice unit twice yet it still doesn’t work!! This last appointment was requested by Samsong in order for Samsong to finally replace our fridge they needed Certified Appliance to troubleshoot with them over the phone but instead Ceasar came and just double checked the parts the previous guy installed, did some troubleshooting (but not with Samsong as was requested on the appointment and by me when he was there.) Instead he very eloquently stated Samsung or the parts supplier keeps sending bad motors (duh) so he will have to write notes to Samsong/Parts Dept online (which has already been done multiple times now). So this was yet another waist of our time and another month without a functioning ice maker! Caesar commented that he doesn’t get paid for warranty calls after the first one so why not follow Samsung’s request to troubleshoot with them “over the phone” instead of making us the customer have to jump through more hoops to try to get it covered? This was a new fridge/freezer in 2018 so only 2 years old and the ice maker hasn’t worked properly since shortly after we got it. By now you can imagine my frustration with both Samsung and Certified Appliance! I would Like to give CA two stars for the service we have received this far but honestly I think if it was any other fridge than a Samsung they probably would have done a much better job and had much quicker results! In all fairness Caesar did come out in a Saturday “thank you”, but this was after they missed a previous service call because their temporary helper scheduled us for the wrong time & there was evidentially a communication error. I would not be writing this review at all except I think it is the only way I can get them to actually do what was requested by Samsung so we can get this problem resolved!! I would Like to follow this up with a five star review at some point!!

Called about a washing machine problem and they sent Jesse up right away. He fixed it in under an hour and charged a very reasonable rate. I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. Jesse also took the time to look at an unrelated problem with my dishwasher. I will be using them again in the future.

I just used Certified for the first time, taking a neighbors recommendation. Service was excellent and promptly performed by a bright and friendly technician.

Had occasion to request refrigerator repair from Certified [heating element on the freezer broke thus it could not defrost]. Got exceptionally polite service on the telephone and very fast service by the repairman [Mike-the owner]. Family business. The repairs were made promptly and have lasted about 3 years so far. I now have a different appliance that is having a problem and didnt hesitate to make another appointment with Certified.

I have been a service and sales customer since Mike Cervantes opened his business. His son Caesar is terrific too, as is their support staff. They just made my holiday by coming out cheerfully on a Saturday to assist with an issue.

Called Certified out to fix my broken microwave. They arrived when they said, on time which is a rarity for people in the Keys. Turns out my microwave had a shorted key pad. They had the replacement part on there truck and got me up and running. Price was good and the technician was nice and friendly. I will use them again and recommend.

Kudos to Certified Appliance for a great all around service experience. They came out when they said and were on time. The issue with my fridge leaking was fixed on the spot and it was affordable. I will definitely calls these folks again !

.I bought a new over the stove Microwave from Home Depot for a mobile home I rent out. Removed the old one and installed the new one. Plugged it in and powered up. Before I was finished I had to unplug the power, when I was finished I plugged it back in the outlet, it didnt power up. Two days later had not powered up so I let Home Depot know and they ordered it to be serviced. An hour before Certified Appliance Repair showed up I got it to power up. The light inside didnt work but did heated up a glass of water. They found the light bulb burned out. They said they cant keep Microwave parts in stock and would have to order it and left. After they left for some reason I had to pull the plug out and when I plugged it back in it didnt power up. When I called them back I was told I shouldnt have unplugged it. He showed another day, he had not called me or the lady living there. She was lucky she heard him at the door and order more parts. I had to leave town for 3 weeks, He came back with the other parts ordered, I Guess he blew them up and declared it not repairable. As he left, I had the lady living there, say to him, if he cant fix it then he should get GE to replace it with a new one. He didnt answer and left. I called GE and they said they would get him back and talk to their Tecs. He them told GE the Microwave had bugs in it. While I was away I asked them why it wasnt fixed yet. They said I would have to get the place treated for bugs before they would go further. CAR told me if I opened it to check for bugs it would void the warranty. I told them if there are bugs in the Microwave they were in there when I got it from Home Depot. They told me to take it back for it would be their problem. So I called and paid for another Authorized GE person to open it and he found NO BUGS. We took pictures and I sent them off to GE. GE called the guy I had open it and he informed them NO BUGS in the Microwave or the home. While he was there I asked the lady living there if CAR man said anything about bugs in the Microwave, she said he had not. We asked her to describe the service man and figured out he was the owner of CAR. Once GE got the pictures and information they sent in a new Microwave and I asked the guy I had check it for bugs remove and install the new one. It was installed the 28th of July. CAR wasted so much of GEs and my time over this. The lady living in my place ended up without the Microwave for two months. I am looking into any other legal action I can bring on CAR

This guy was awesome! I called him from Pennsylvania to have him replace a dishwasher in a rental unit I have there. I called him on Thursday, and he had the old dishwasher out and the new one in by 10am Monday morning! If you want prompt, professional service, which can sometimes be hard to find on the island, CALL THIS GUY!!!!!!!

The technician was knowledgeable, neat, friendly and the price was fair. My freezer was diagnosed and fixed without incent. You can’t ask for more. I highly recommend Certified Appliance Repair.

I had a dishwasher installed by Sears on Friday. On Saturday, the dishwasher stopped working. Although the initial installer was nice enough, it appears as though he did a sub par job. Instead on capping the wires he used loose black tape which fell off. It looks like Certified Appliance Repair may have very genuinely saved my life. This is why small business always beats the big box stores.

I called them out for a service on my refrigerator. They arrived within the appointed time. Began diagnosis and came up with a problem that they fixed. Basically, they did nothing and the issue I called them out for persisted, not only that, i discovered they left without putting my refrigerator completely back together. I contacted a competing repair company. He came out, actually found the problem, replaced the offending part, one not even checked by Certified techs, and now my refrigerator is working perfectly.

Beware of these folks. Very self righteous. They don’t recognize that you’re the customer and they’re the service provider.
