Always liked visiting the store for a unique experience. Looking forward to visiting again when open.Ordered online and as usual wonderful marinades and sauces. One bottle was broken, but Pete came through with a replacement. Thank you Pete for keeping my taste buds aflame.

Okay so the first thing anyone has to do when they walk in here is talk to one of the attendants and do the hot sauce tour. It starts easy enough but as you work up through the levels of heat it becomes (almost) to hot to handle. I was impressed enough to walk over to the glass case and buy one of the atomic sauces that requires you to sign a waiver to purchase. Shout out to Halli for giving me a hell of a tour through their hot sauce.

Great place to find different varieties of hot sauces, spicy jams and other spicy morsels to spice up your life! My brother is somewhat of a hot sauce connoisseur and loves hot sauce more than anything and we were able to find some great gifts for him! The staff is great, sarcastic and lively! If you’re a snowflake and offended easily then you probably need to grow up a little to enjoy it to it’s fullest...if not then this is an awesome place!!!

Great little hot sauce joint, I went in the morning and did an extensive tasting of everything from the mild habanero sauces to the 8,000,000 SCU sauces. Lots of fun, and picked up a couple bottles of good stuff. They’ve even got some very rare bottles of sauces that are 16,000,000 SCU which is just plain insane.

This place is awesome. A large variety of sauces. Some very unique and rare bottles. Tess is super nice and knows her hots.

We were disappointed to find the store was closed while we were visiting Key West the week of 10/19/20. It was one of the few places my husband was looking forward to going. He loves anything spicy, and trying new sauces!! Only giving the 3 stars because it says the store is open online, but when we walked to the store, there were signs notifying us that the store was closed.

I have never visited the store but I felt compelled to write a positive review based on the online ordering experience. I found the sauce I was looking for (Susies) that was out of stock everywhere else (Even their official website) and the package arrived very promptly with everything neatly packed and intact. For any future hot sauce needs I’ll be checking here first!

A wide variety of not only hot sauces, but peppers and products for drinks. It is an ideal place for people who like it hot, and people who do not. I suggest the XXX Alto Ghost Pepper sauce.

We decided to buy a local hot sauce from every place we visited on our trip to the US and Peppers of Key West did not disappoint in our mission to find a sauce from the Florida Keys. As well as having an amazing selection of sauces from all over, they also make their own range of sauces at varying heat levels. The staff were all really friendly though Tess in particular did a fantastic job at giving us a taste tour of the different sauces tailored to our preferences. She was clearly so passionate about her job and the products and we really enjoyed chatting to her. We bought a selection of their sauces from the ghost pepper to a pickle hot sauce! Reasonably priced, exceptional service and a fun experience to choose your sauces.

Peppers of Key West is one of the best hot shops Ive ever been to. The staff is very helpful, and personable. They are good natured, knowledgeable folks that love to talk about the variety of sauces they sell and are happy to help you through tasting the whole variety. They also offer shipping to anywhere in the world. We are from Chicago so this is great for us. Thank you guys for a great experience and keep it up. We cant wait to come back again. We visited Peppers last week while in Key West. Originally went in the find a “different” kind of gift to take back to a friend. The Sales Associate Halli was impressive! Her knowledge of the huge selection of sauces was astounding! The selection is huge, the atmosphere is so very nicely decorated and very inviting. We enjoyed the tasting before we bought option. One taste lead to another and so forth. We had the option to have them shipped and we opted for that. Received our package Newark’s packed with a handwritten “Thank You” note from the Owners! The money was well spent and I can’t wait to try the sauces we selected! We will definitely order from here again via website!

Had an great time at Peppers! The staff is very friendly and the location is very clean. We were given our own chips and they poored the sauces on small spoons to not cross contaminate. Pete helped us. He was very attentive and funny. We had a great time with him and I left with three hot sauces. I would have bought more but I didnt want my luggage to be too heavy.

This place was a hot sauce lovers dream. They’ve got a big but still curated selection of sauces, rubs, extracts etc. And immediately served my wife and I a long line of delicious stuff to taste - bought a bottle of their first sauce we tried. Their stuff is spicy but doesn’t sacrifice flavor. Can’t recommend it enough. Shout out to Lisa for being our hot sauce guru.

I really want to thank the wonderful folks at Peppers of Key West. I ordered Hot Pepper Raspberry Preserves as a surprise for my daughter’s birthday, not only did my order come in record time, it was a big hit. I will definitely order again!

The service was excellent. The lady working at the stand was super nice. We tried tons of samples and my friends bought some hot sauces. Their selection incredible. They even have very rare sauces on display(they aren’t for sale because they are so rare). Overall amazing experience. I walked out with my mouth on fire and enjoyed it.

This establishment is a definite must see if you are in Key West. The staff is extremely courteous and knowledgeable. The amount of sauces is unbelievable but the staff will direct you to what your taste is. They are more than happy to let you try the sauces as well as test your pain threshold.I brought home 3 of their brand name sauces and am enjoying every last drop. Absolutely great experience here. Cant even begin to describe the amounts of sauces we tried - all very good. Did the hottest pepper challenge which was fun - theres a vending machine with nice cold Gatorades just in case. The lady who helped us was so patient in us trying everything and was very knowledgeable. That enthusiasm is apparent through everyone who works there too. Prices werent bad either!

Great establishment, super friendly staff. The young lady who helped us spent 20 min providing and explaining samples of their products, and also gave our young daughters samples of honey. My fav was the Cayenne Pepper hot sauce, but tons of great sauces to choose from.We purchased several items, and mistakenly left them on the counter when we left (dont ask). We left a message with the owner when we got home, and he promptly called back and arranged to ship the items to us.Great sauces, great service. Really enjoyed all of it. Well be ordering regularly from the website, and well definitely be back!

Cute little spot, has a HUGE selection of sauces and spices and they have a tasting bar so you can sample anything they have. Bought some fantastic sauces and seasonings, I would definitely recommend stopping in, very friendly and helpful staff and this is a fantastic place if you love to cook and are looking for some unique seasoning blends. They also have delicious dips and salsas ranging in all different levels of heat.

This is one of the best special things to do in Key West. This store is across from the Hyatt. They have a sauce tasting bar, where you can sample sauces for free. They provide chips. Be sure to bring your own drinks, or you have to buy them from their machine. The sauces they have include hot & sweet sauces, but also peanut butter & some jams. My wife & I spent over 30 minutes here & enjoyed the experience, ending up buying a variety of sauces. This was truly fun. My wife got to one of the hottest sauces, but I had to stop in the mild range. Our server Alfred was really helpful in finding sauces for our taste & that were vegetarian.

I went to key west with my family on vacation and while walking around we went into Peppers of Key West. I bought their chicken wing sauce cause there was a really cute girl working there and I was being an awkward mess. Three days later I had the wing sauce with my French fries and it tastes really good. Id defiantly recommend going there.

If you like very spicy things you need to go here. You can try the hot sauces, there are some with absolutely amazing flavors. Highly recommend coming here

Great selection of hot sauces made with a huge variety of peppers and degrees of spiciness. The tasting bar has samples of almost every one of the sauces on the shelves. Individual bottles of the stores own brand can be kind of expensive but a box set of 5 is relatively cheap. I was able to mix and match which sauces I added to the box, too.

We were initially excited about the free samples and were delighted by the service and selection this shop offers! The employee gave everyone multiple samples and individualized per everyones taste. Unique souvenirs! And you can buy more online too!

Me and my wife were walking by and seen the pepper sign out front. We walked into to find a amazing collection of hot sauces. We sat down to do some tastings. My wife is not big on hot sauce with alot of heat. But our professional hot sauce consultant by the name of Will hand picked a bunch of sauces that my wife would die from the heat for her and she ended up liking a bunch of them. My hot sauce tolerance for heat is pretty high. I tried pretty much all of the sauces and they were all excellent. There in house sauces were all really excellent with alot a flavor and not so much of the heat but some do still have a good kick. Would most definitely recommend this to anyone. Thanks Will you did a great job. Will be returning next year to pick up more sauces.

They used to carry more salsas than they do now, so it was a bit of a disappointment to not find the array of salsas that they once had. Was not happy when the person working asked what flavors we liked, proceeded to pour a garlicky sample onto a spoon, and we tasted it. . .expected it to taste like garlic and the only thing we tasted was heat. Usually you get a nice garlic flavor and not the kind of heat. I like my sauces to have flavor, not burn. They should certainly ask if you like things with a lot of heat. Thats what we had been used to from Peppers as well as similar places in other tourist spots, like the Pepper Palace in St. Augustine. Maybe that was my mistake for not asking how hot it was, but I think the onus should be on the staff. Didnt find any salsas that we couldnt find at home, so didnt buy despite the fact we were willing to had we found something that had flavor and not just heat.
