I went here for flowers for my girlfriend for our 7 month, and this sweet lady that works at the reception/cigarette stand was so sweet and put together my bouquet, she wasn’t even the FLORIST, she didn’t have to help me but she did and she was my personal savior, she bundled up 12 roses with baby breath in the middle of it all, in a vase with a “i love you” sign in the middle, this person deserves a raise for going above and beyond what she needed to do, i wish i could’ve caught or remembered her name but if she’s reading this then thank you, and if her boss sees this please seek her out and tell her thank you and maybe give her a pay raise maybe :>

I don’t come here often, but every time I have, the produce is terrible. Stick with the staples and not fresh food or meat. Yes, Publix is more expensive, the quality is so much better than Winn Dixie.

This is my go-to grocery store in Key West. Food is always fresh and it is so much cheaper than Publix. Besides, I won’t go to Publix because the heiress of the fortune donated heavily to Trump and even supported the January 6th insurrection. Publix says she has no relationship with Publix but she’s a shareholder since she’s the heiress and she gets more money to try and destroy democracy with every purchase made there. Winn-Dixie has a problematic name with racial undertones but when you only have a choice between Publix and Winn-Dixie then please choose Winn-Dixie every single time if you love your country and do not want to live under authoritarian rule.

On several occasions, I have been charged for items that were not given to me. You might be wondering how this happens! While I am assisting the cashier bag my groceries (not enough employees I guess), it is difficult to ensure everything gets bagged and carted. The first couple of times, I considered it a fluke. NOW... It has happened enough to be considered common practice.

Just bought a package of slim fast keto peanut butter cups that were crushed and melted inside the package. I exchanged them for a new box and it was the same way. The kid at the customer service desk had an attitude and said all I had to do was put them in the freezer. I also dont need to see an employee roll his eyes and shake his head when I ask for a refund.....going to publix

¡¡¡SUPER DISRESPECTFUL!!! Worst attention EVER. I ordered food and the ladies from the deli section who spoke Spanish (I do too, i am visiting from Argentina) had the worst attitude towards me and my family.It seems like the daughter of one of the ladies was waiting for her mother and then my father heard the woman speaking with her daughter... THEY WERE MOCKING US.

Bought walburger hamburgers today. Got home and the meat smelled like sewage! Threw it out and tried to call and it rang for 17 min. Straight! Tried for am hour and no answer.

The better grocery store on the island. Closest to most of the residents. Very well stocked and has a large selection. Good deals and a really cool app that helps with getting coupons and saving money. The team members at the deli and butchers are always super nice and help me out!

Were from out of state, visiting down here I will say that its very nice to have a grocery near hotels... However... When another customer not wearing their mask properly (around ones double chin) screams at my husband for not wearing a mask... This mask situation is seriously starting to look more like a compliance issue more than than a health and safety issue. Other than that very rude walking double standard of a human, nice store.👍😃👍

Typical Winn Dixie supermarket. Very large and well stocked, even on Christmas Eve. Easily found what I wanted and was able to check out quickly thanks to the number of cashiers working. Well done to Winn Dixie for making my Christmas meal shopping such a painless experience.

God help you if you need to use the bathrooms here...absolutely disgusting! Store in general is dated and def needs a face lift. Prices and selection seemed fair...but if you dont have their savings card you wont do nearly as good.

Please fix your AC in the front of store. It was over 80 degrees today, I cant help but think its because you keep the front doors open all the time. Close the doors (fix them if defective but close them) it lets bugs in too. Other stores can manage to get there AC units fixed quickly and not be breaking down every other week. Please provide us a pleasant environment to shop and thats to say nothing of your cashiers working 6-8 hours in the 80 degree temperatures.

I walked in win Dixie monday night. Had problem with florida lotto machine. Asked manager named Roque help. His is a most ignorant person I have ever deal with. Costumer service is 0 person like him to have as manager or even supervisor is a shame. He needs proper training at list to be nice to a costumers.

Ive never had an issue here. Great priced for the area. Always someone to help you. Friendly staff. Clean store. Sunday is the best day to go as it is not too busy. If at anytime there is an issue, the Store managers are very willing to correct and make customer happy.

The only reason this does not get a one star is because well i used the self checkout and you have very limited options to shop on this island, honestly im strongly considering amazon as my go 2 for groceries as well...

A few very rude employees, fruit was in pretty bad shape other than bananas, two employees couldnt tell me where pickles were or even understand what I was asking for at all. The self check out was not working correctly and the employees gave me massive attitude because of it, even though I was very polite and thanked them for helping me... Last time Ill go to this store.

Always have liked WD. This one in Key West seems to have a lot of back up in the check-out lines, whether youre in a self-check or regular line unfortunately. My cashier couldnt understand English, but was very patient waiting for help from management. I do find some decent priced items, just not stocked as fully as Publix. We shop both. ✔️✔️

Their price tags are a scam. They say you’ll get a $1 off, but you can’t claim it on a register because:the coupon system doesn’t work, the don’t know how to redeem it and blah-blah-blah!Manager didn’t show up when I was waiting for him 15 mins.Go to Publix every one.

Their Cuban Mix sandwich is the greatest using real baked ham and roasted pork and not deli meat.

Best grocery prices in Key West. Sunday afternoon the store is never too crowded. If only you could get waited on at the deli counter I would give 5 stars, but there can be 5 people behind the counter and they all want to serve is the hot food or do anything else but slice lunch meat. Have to wait way too long to buy anything, bad servoce from deli.

Yesterday i bought a strawberry roll from the bakery and to my surprise when i got home it was filled with mold. i decided to take it back after work and the manager with a terrible attitude and didnt even apologize asked me to take a other one. i expressed my discomfort and ask if she could refund it. in a very nasty way she said that customer service its closed and we cant refund it .... wait didnt she proclaimed her self the store manager and couldnt refund a strawberry roll? ..... very disappointed not only to get a spoiled item and getting so much hassle to refund it !!!! i will certainly will never come back....shame because i deposit all my trust on it. i will make sure the department of health come and inspect so no other customer suffer or get sick for someone negligence that doesnt check

Bought the WD brand of ribeye roast on sale. It was fantastic. Had roasted ribeye roast and made beef stroganoff with the leftovers!

This winn-Dixie is my fave, the cashiers are always nice and you can tell they care when they pack and put your groceries. Yo find great promotions always and is better in pricing.

Dismal service, had some shrimp steamed, associate didnt know basics of fractional quantities, put cooked product back in the same bag he pulled from the counter, did not change gloves between handling raw and cooked. If I were health inspector if have shut them down right then. Clearly untrained on equipment and cross contamination.

Cooler was at 60° clearly marked by thermometer and they were selling loads of chicken out of it. Second time I have shopped there this month, second time it has been over 55° with product in it. Shame.

Food quality is hit or miss, selection is ok, many of the staff speaks little or bad English and the staff is hardly friendly (though there are a few who are) so customer service sucks. I bought meat that turned in 5 days refrigerated but said sell by the same date on the package on the date by which it turned completely. Meat doesnt turn that fast unless it was already going bad when I bought it. It looked good but that was surface. I recommend Publix!!

Best and cheapest grocery store in Key West. Has everything you need at reasonable prices.And they have chicken wings!!! And good selection of various ready to eat food to go: chicken, salad bar, side dishes etc. Great alternative to going to a restaurant or fastfood.

Excellent selections and prices. Use their awards card for discounts at the gas pump. The liquor store side of the store has a good selection plus is the only store that has kegs in stock for the impromptu party.

Nice, clean stores. I take away the one star due to the self checkout machines can be very annoying. PLACE ITEM IN BAGGING AREA. 🤨 I did put it in the baggingarea... REMOVE THE UNSCANNED ITEM. 🤨 I did scan that item. The machine is very bossy, but half the time when its barking orders like that, its the machine just acting weird.

Well, im shopping here 2 times a week for the last 5 years. the products and the prices are good, put paying on the end of your shopping is living hell, something is always going wrong, the self check out is locking up most of the time, and the cashiers can use some more training...

This is the worst WinnDixie. None of the employees are helpful. They are pushy rude and most cant speak English or pretend not to. They will take frozen or refrigerated items that other customers leave on other shelves for hours and put them back. They do not remove old stock or rotate the stock. Make sure you check the expiration dates. There is never enough cashiers. The carts are filthy.

Must check EVERY expiration date - just returned stale cookies that expired OVER 2 MONTHS AGO! (Key West store). Food here is NOT fresh. Also returned grisly tasting blueberries and got burned on a bag of stale malt-O’Meal cereal last week. You are gambling with peoples health here! Manager was cool and de-escalated the situation as I was NOT happy - but I’m done - switching to Publix.

Their produce has been very poor quality lately. Bought some fruit bowls, opened then the next morning and they were rancid. When you go in the store there is an area between the deli and the seafood department that smells really bad. I almost threw up. That was yesterday. Went in today to try to find something and the meat selection looked old. I walked right back out. I know Publix is more expensive, but I rather spend a little bit more money and know I getting fresh food and that it wont make me sick.

We have a time share in Key West. Winn-Dixie was a little nicer this year than last year. We love fresh fruit and vegetables.

Bad service, long lines, few english speaking employees. Tried to call the store it ran for 5 minutes, tried again got answered after 1 minute by a very poor english speaker who put me on hold for over 5 minutes before I finally hung up. Since Winn Dixie nixed their item lookup calling the store is the only way to check to see if they carry an item. Total fail. Also, they now sell beef lower than choice grade! so much for The Beef People..

Winn-Dixie is my pharmacist, my butcher, my vintner, and my grocer. Kim and Willergene in the pharmacy have helped me keep my drug costs low for years, Louis in Meats & Seafood has unbelievable customer service skills. The wines and produce selections certainly exceed my needs as does the general selection of grocery items.

Their hot food deli/buffet thing is the best kept secret for good food in key West. You get a huge serving, your choice of one entree and 2 sides for only $6.50.

My cashier was a girl named Lenny.Rudest cashier I have EVER encountered here in Key West.I already like going to Publix better, for a lot of reasons. However it IS occasionally just more convenient to go to Winn Dixie.They do often have good sales, but there is a reason. Without the sales they would have no business at all. They have to try and compete with Publix so there are always good sales.Not worth it though, if you have to put up with things being terribly hard to find, long lines at the check out, and then end up with a nasty cashier.One thing they used to have going for them was they had a great bakery. That however has recently changed as well. Got my sons birthday cake there and it was awful, something was wrong with the frosting, and it was labeled wrong.Think I will stick with Publix.

Ive seen shorter lines at Disney. Honestly I was going there because another store didnt have the flavor dog food I needed. Its usually 24 hours, but I think something was wrong with their computers so they were closing. But only two registers were open and the limes stretched into the aisles. At 11pm. So yeah. I dont shop here often, and Ill be surprised if I shop here again.

I told her I am buying it so I want my rewards. Long store short cashier still used the store rewards account.

I really enjoyed this Winn Dixie as it is the only one I can go to without my hallucinations acting up. In this Winn Dixie, I only saw one meat monster whereas in other grocery stores I see 22 meat monsters.
