We had been looking at these Hammocks online know we were heading to key west. Brad greeted us and was very knowledgeable. Online doesn’t do the hammocks justice. If your in key west you got to stop in a sit in them.

On our trip to Key West we went into the shop. The person in the store was extremely helpful and attentive, upon trying the hammocks we decided to order two of their hammock chairs with footrests. unfortunately when we got home we realised that our balcony wasnt the correct material and we needed to cancel the order. Instead of making this process difficult, the company were extremely accommodating and processed a full refund. Will purchase from them in the future if we have the opportunity.

This is the 3rd hammock that I have received from KW Hammock shop. they are the most comfortable hammocks, and all of our guest ask where they come from.We did have an issue with our newest hammock and I gave Paul a call at the shop and he took care of it and I am 100% satisfied with the great service that he provided.There is something to say about great exceptional customer service and it is what brings me back to the KW hammock Shop.Great Quality, Great selection, Always helpful and great service even when you are ordering online.Thank you Paul for helping me out.

We have both the extra large hammock and two hammock chairs. They are GREAT but don’t hold a candle to the spectacular customer service we received when we had an issue. Truly outstanding response time and resolution. We can’t recommend this company highly enough!

Squirrels ate some of the ropes on my hammock chair. I really didn’t think there was any hope for a repair, but I called and spoke to Paul who was so wonderful !! He had the warehouse send me replacement ropes. The best service ever !!!

Ordered and paid for my hammock in January while vacationing in Key West for delivery to NH. We followed up in April with Brad as planned and he confirmed they would need 8 weeks to build and that we would receive a tracking number in Early June when shipped. We have called and texted 10 times since that point to both Brad and Paul without receiving any response. Not one. Quite disappointed as we were looking forward to enjoying it and cancelled the order as while I can understand delays, I cannot accept failing to respond or following up.

We ordered the Camru bar stool set, but when it arrived there was some faulty parts. I contacted the Hammock shop and worked with Paul to address the problem. His professional, courteous and efficient response was very impressive. He followed up with the manufacturer immediately and we received a replacement chair within days. Amazing customer service Paul! Thank you. Also, a great response from Nag’s Head, the manufacturer of the chairs.

I have purchased 2 hammocks from Key West Hammocks online. They are comfortable and sturdy. The 1st one I purchased lasted several years. When there was an issue with the 2nd one Paul responded to my e-mails promptly and made the situation right without a question or hassle. Great customer service.

I visited the store on a trip to Key West but didnt purchase anything since we were in bikes. A few weeks later I decided to place an online order but had a few questions. Paul was extremely helpful. We love our hammock chair and highly recommend akey West Hammocks. We will definitely visit the store again on our next trip down to see what other great products they have.

I purchased an 800 dollar hammock as a gift for my wife 8 weeks ago. I was told 4 to 6 weeks shipping and I would be notified by email. i called a 6 weeks because still no hammock then was told 8 weeks .called today the 8 week mark and was told the guy in Vermont who makes the hammocks is backed up and still no information on we I would receive my hammock. So the key west hammock company isnt even in key west. Was offered a refund after waiting 8 weeks . I was told in still 20 orders back in line and when I asked why isnt anyone notified that their orders are running late I didnt get an answer

My wife and I were in Key West while on a cruise. As we walked around, we went into Key West Hammock. Sarah greeted us and was amazing with explaining in detail about the company and the products. We tried the double seated hammock and that was all it took. Sarah explained how to adjust it just right and was very helpful. I appreciate so much the help she gave us and feel she went above and beyond. She told us we should receive our hammock around 10 days. Bought 2 large hammock swings at the Disney springs kiosk and 1 1/2 years later we sat in one and it was so frayed it sent the person sitting to the ground.We took it in last fall for the winter so it wasn’t even exposed to any elements except rain.Would I buy from them again? Probably not . I am going to try to fix this one with a small chain and covering that in the same color but stronger yarn.Contacted KW via email but no response as yet.

This place is fantastic! There are hammocks and really cool Haitian art work. The staff couldnt be more helpful or fun... Particularly Sarah and Eric! Both provide excellent service while making it fun. Ask Eric about Hunter. We will definitely be back.

I love this place! My fiance & I bought 2 hammocks a few years ago while on vacation, and had a great buying experience. We decided to order another because tbh we felt like bad hosts not offering the hammocks to guests, but we reeeally love sitting in them too! Theyre super study and probably one of the most comfortable things youll ever sit/lie in.I called the store with a question about ordering, and Paul got back to me just a few hours later. He was really helpful and asked questions to make sure I was ordering the exact product I wanted in a color he knew was in stock. After I placed my order he even texted to let me know I could reach out with any questions. Great customer service & great hammocks, Id definitely buy from them in the future!

Worst after sale customer service I’ve ever experienced!My husband and I visited KWH early March during a week long vacation in Key West and quickly made a $300 purchase of a jumbo hammock and jumbo pillow to accompany it. I took several a photos of the pieces we purchased. We were told the order would be packed immediately and arrive at our home by the time we returned from vacation at the end of the week. The sales associate, Jessica gave us her card and wrote her telephone number on it, saying to call her if we needed anything else in the future. The hammock and pillow arrived 2 weeks late, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Despite what we purchased, which was confirmed on the written order and receipt, the a brown pillow arrived, not the bright red one we ordered. I immediately called KWH (got no answer, but left a voice message) and emailed KWH to alert them of their error and inquired how to return the brown pillow and get the red one. With that initial email I included the the photos I had taken while in the store of what we ordered and a photo o the brown one that we received, I thought it may be unnecessary to include the photos, after all, how could you confuse the color red with the color brown? Yet, I attached all the photos to the email anyway. After a few days with no response, I called again (no answer, had to leave another voice message), emailed KWK, and then called the number Jessica wrote on her card ( I left a message, there was no answer) as well as texted a message to her (it was marked delivered). A few weeks later I received (and was charged again for) a second pillow... AGAIN, brown, not red! I began the frustrating process of multiple emails, calls and texts get the 2 brown pillows I did not order (but paid for) returned (and credited to my charge account). As of today, almost 3 months later, KWH has ignored my emails, calls to the store, to the telephone number Jessica gave me and voice messages to correct an error they made twice. Surprisingly on May 1st, 2 months after the sale, I received a cryptic email from an Alex Lawson at KWH. He wrote I called you 4 times just yesterday. His claim was both untrue and insulting ! My cell phone had no missed calls and no there were no voice messages from him. I wrote back telling him to check the cell phone number I provided in each of the 8 prior unanswered emails I sent to KWH, adding that I had no missed calls and no voice mail from him (I foolishly added but thank you for trying) and asked for a telephone number where I could reach him since he has a problem reaching me....that was 3 weeks ago! Shame on me for expecting KWH to do the right thing after 3 months of doing the wrong thing (as well as nothing). Im not sure what they hope to accomplish by ignoring their customers and refusing to correct their mistakes. Upon reading the reviews KWH gets on various review platforms, I see this pattern of ignoring customers and refusing basic sales courtesy is the status quo for them

The quality is worth every penny. See, my husband & I bought one in December, 2009. He passed in July, 2011. But he loved that hammock. After the last couple years of neglect on my part, I finally had to get rid of it. Suffice it to say that it would’ve easily lasted 10 years or more! Now, I’m about to buy a replacement for my new house.

Do not buy from here unless you take the product with you from the store. I purchased three hammock chairs (negotiated to $115 plus free shipping, so dont believe the pricing) and was told a shipping label would be created, I would get an email with a tracking number same day, and they would arrive within a week, before I even got back from vacation.A few weeks later and still no email or tracking number let alone the hammocks. Multiple ignored phone calls and no return of voicemail.Its a shame because the hammocks are comfortable.

Placed an order in store on 03/22/19 with Sarah, paid $34.99 for shipping and was told it would be 2 weeks at the most. 3 weeks with no word, we tried to call several times, but kept getting a voicemail that was full with no answer. Emailed also with no response. On 04/17/19, we were able to leave a voicemail and threatened if it wasnt resolved we would file a complaint with Amex. On 04/18/19 we get an email with shipping confirmation that it was just shipped out today. Cant comment on the product-since I havent received, but I dont recommend you have it shipped to you.

I found the jumbo chairs $60 cheaper for exact same chair snd company.

My husband and I were visiting Key West and popped into KW Hammocks just to look around but ended up falling in love with the quality and comfort of the Mayan Hammock and purchased one on the spot. The sales woman told us that the color we wanted was out of stock but would ship within 2-3 weeks. Imagine our surprise when we received a package from them a week after our purchase unfortunately it was the wrong hammock. I contacted Alex and she got back to me right away and arranged for us to receive the Mayan hammock ASAP. We haven’t received it yet but Alex told us to keep the incorrect hammock solely because our original order would take a bit longer than the 2-3 weeks originally promised to ship! That is by far the best customer service we have ever received. KW Hammocks has a customer for life!

Went in looking at getting a hammock, came across a 2 seating hammock and sat down. The sales person was nice at first. After about 5 minutes talking about the hammock while sitting in it, he came over and rudely states that we cant just be screwing around in a hammock here and that someone else might want to sit there. He then hands a card over and says bye have a nice day.....kicking out potential customers, thats a great way to run a business..

Purchased a hammock from them and did receive it. Unfortunately, the hardware to put the hammock together was not included. Multiple emails and phone calls later, still no response from them. Very poor customer service. Definitely would not recommend this place for purchasing merchandise.

We had a great sales person the first time we visited, but when we returned ready to make our purchase we met IKE (I Know Everything) sales person who insulted us out of the store for questioning the pricing. He suggested we may find something more in your price range at a named big box store. We actually did find the SAME hammock and chair online at Beachside Hammocks out of CA, and ordered them for the discounted price we had discussed on our original visit. By all means...stop into this cute store and try before you buy online! Thanks IKE for suggesting we shop around!

I visited The Key West Hammock store while on our honeymoon (Oct. 2015). The staff was really nice & very helpful answering my questions. I just purchased my hammock from Will at K.W.H. I got it sooner than I was expecting :-) It came with everything that Will said it would. Now, I have been sleeping like a baby at night waking up feeling refreshed.K.W.H. - you need to open at store here in Gilbert AZ! I was a loyal customer until this last purchase. Their products are good but customer service is lacking. I ordered a large Mayan hammock for my wifes birthday 2 weeks ahead of time from the website. A day or two later a shipping label was created in the next few days I noticed no movement on the package from FedEx. I sent them an email regarding the issue and did not get a response at all. I ended up calling the store, by this time it was already my wifes birthday, and they said that the hammock I ordered was on backorder and somebody should have called me to ask if I wanted to wait for it or get a different color. I ended up getting a different color just to have it. So they have things on their site that are not in stock, did not follow up and call me, didnt answer my email, and seemed to have no remorse.I would have recommended this company before, but I certainly wont now.

My Wife and I walked into the store because I love hammocks and have been shopping for one for our getaway property. We walked into the store and from the beginning We felt unwelcomed...the salesman answered a question, told Me he didnt have a card and if I wanted to follow up on merchandise I could look at the sign above the entrance when We walked out...He never approached Us...never said hello...but no problem...never force any vendor to take your money...on to the next one...

Buyers and Shoppers BEWARE! I stepped into to this store with my friend and three children. I was considering purchasing a swinging chair. I found ALL the salespeople INCLUDING the owner to be extremely arrogant, egotistical, and downright rude. This shop IS NOT family friendly. The owner thought nothing of screaming until he was red in the face at my five year old for touching his precious fountain. Once that happened, I shelved the idea of buying a chair there. Being self employed myself, I was completely disgusted with all their attitudes. I dont care who you are, you do not scream at little children like that. Ridiculous. So glad I did not follow through on that purchase as I found the same swinging chair much cheaper at another store.

Previous experience was great, but today the salesperson was so rude to border on frightening. It is about 9:00am and our first day here do we are in high spirits. Joked, obviously joked about getting 50% off and Bill took offense. Followed us around making snide comments. Actually following us out on to the sidewalk to yell good luck finding someone to give you half off We were kinda afraid of the guy. We were not drunk and were in such a good happy mood and happy to be in KW. This guy was an asshike in spades.

When I went in to buy my two hammocks the sales rep was very nice but busy on his personal cell phone, talking to his daughter. When he got off the telephone, I ordered my two hammocks which were to be shipped to my home. The hammocks arrived in a timely fashion, but one of them was not the correct one that I had ordered. I spoke with a rep the following day and was assured it would be resolved. Almost 10 days later, someone called us and asked if our order had been resolved. He then assured us that he was sending out the CORRECT hammock and we could return the other. Well, we have received the other hammock which is the correct color but not the JUMBO size....so the order is still incorrect. At this point in time I am about ready to return ALL of the hammocks. This is terrible customer service. I grew up in KW, graduated from KW high school and am terribly disappointed that this is how this company is being represented.

We bought a hammock at the Key West store in Duval Street. We paid upfront ($1110) and were told the hammock would ship to our home in Belgium. Now a year has past and we still have no hammock. The customer service other people talk about in their review is non-existing. And I literally mean non-existing. They can not be reached through their website or by e-mail. Terrible service, I say stay away!But finally, in the end, we got in touch and got our hammocks! One year late but still, enough to go from no to two-and-a-half stars.

BEWARE: Possible FRAUDULENT BusinessWe stopped in the store on a trip to Key West and ordered a hammock on April 26th. We were told by our salesman, Andy, that the hammock would ship the very next day. It has now been over a week and we have not received a hammock, or any communication whatsoever as to the location of said hammock. We have sent multiple e-mails but there has been no reply. We have tried multiple phone calls, but no one answers and the voice mailbox is full. We made one more attempt at contact today. We will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau and reporting the transaction to our bank as fraudulent tomorrow if we still receive no response.

Buyer beware that you will likely be swindled if you pay up front and have your purchase shipped home. Weve been waiting 3 weeks and NO ONE has returned a phone call or email to advise us where our $500 hammock stand is. Breach of contract and grand theft in this state. I will be sending a good faith letter for performance or refund.

Placed an order over the phone for a Hammock & Stand for my sons birthday who lives in Ca. Being I check my bank accounts daily i noticed they Over charged me about $231.00. After contacting them they did credit my account the over charge amount. Once again i went over the order. My son received the stand 1 week later which was dropped shipped from the manufacture in the Carolinas. A week later he received the Hammock which was missing the chain etc. When he contacted them they were not only rude but full of LIES. Told him i didnt order a Hardware Package The words, chain or Hardware Package was NEVER mentioned during our three different conversations. BUYER BEWARE !!!!

Then a shipping label was made, and no movement. Fed Ex said you can create a shipping lable on any computer, but they dont have a product to ship yet. KW wont return emails, phone calls go unanswered, and the mailbox is full. THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD! We were excited about the hammock, now just disgusted!

Hammocks are overpriced with IKEA quality. Should have heeded the warnings about customer service! Within 5 months the wooden structure holding our 2 person hammock broke. When I called to inquire about the warrantee the owner became irate and started making accusations. Did not stand behind his product!! Terrible experience ...Lesson learned NEVER again. Filed a report with the Better Business Bureau!! Super upset... BUYER BEWARE.

You said it wouldnt rust - it rusted horrible. You said the fabric wouldnt mold - it did. You said the wood wouldnt mold or discolor - it did. I tried to get help - nothing. Isnt it fraud to make promises that a product performs a certain way when it clearly doesnt. Disappointed in your product and disappointed in your company.

Horrible company with horrendous customer service. Im never been so appalled after buying a product online.The KW Hammock company said Fedex delivered the hammock to my door (they didnt) and it was now my responsibility.Rather than dealing with Fedex Insurance and sending another order or tracking the lost order down they did absolutely nothing. I dont recommend dealing with these scammers.

Horrible never get anything from there. We bought the huge hammock and it came wood dented,chipped and ruined. They would not even return our calls. Also ordered the hammock and the hammock cane with two different colored woods.One blue hammock with dark wood and the hammock stand was light wood.
