Overall great experience! I called needing my window replaced. Matt was very helpful with scheduling an available time. He even called me back with availability to come in sooner. They were able to replace my window and even cleaned up some of the remaining glass for me. The window looks great. The service was very professional and good quality. Had my blinker lever break off my 2017 Volkswagen Passat. They told me they would take a look at it and see if they could fix it, but if not they would have to order a new part. They ended up fixing it, saving me about $600. and never had to order the new part. They also gave me rides free of charge to my house and back so I wouldnt have to walk. Good people. Professional, trustworthy business.

It started with my AC not working properly brought it in for the diagnosis. Turns out my AC compressor failed they offered me a competitive price to change out the compressor and recharge the system at a one-day turnaround for parts and one day repair extremely professional staff and pleasant to work with. They also have the ability to do financing through different companies to help if you dont have the cash available to do a major repair all of a sudden. I would highly recommend these to anyone whos looking for repairs.

This is now my go to auto shop, Ive been dealing with them for about six months now for various issues and anytime theres an issue with my car I call them. The employees are all very professional and polite. The best part is whenever I have to call its usually the worst part of my day, but after speaking to someone on the phone I feel reassured that the issue will be fixed in a timely manner plus they can tow the vehicle to their shop😊 This is by far the best shop on Killeen!

I took my vehicle in for an alignment. I was told I needed brakes and rotors. I dont understand why since other shop didnt say I needed it and I had them done just last year. Im not a mechanic so I told the to go ahead since my vehicle was already taken apart. I got my vehicle back way after the time they told me. My vehicle started squeaking. I finally found time to take it back. They checked it said it was fixed. My vehicle still continued to squeak when slowing down. I was not going to take it back but I did. Another service person asked me to let them try again. They worked on it again. They changed out the brakes. My vehicle still squeaks. I am disappointed and frustrated. Im starting nor to trust mechanics.

Called Matt and got an appointment a couple days later. My family only has one car so when i dropped it off Matt dropped me off and picked me up from home. Took my husband car here to have the break changed but Matt and his crew is awesome told me the breaks don’t need to be changed just flash and add fluid! Super honest love it. Matt and his crew took very good care of us! I took my sons vehicle there to get the A/C checked. During conversation I mentioned that I had purchased the vehicle used and wasnt sure if it had any additional issues outside of the A/C blowing hot air. They did a complete check of the vehicle to let me know of any additional repairs that may be needed and gave me a complete estimate on each item. My son is extremely pleased with the work that was completed on the A/C and with the estimates for items of concern to be repaired or replaced. Just moved down here from Georgia with my 21 year old car. I commute everyday from Killeen to Austin for work. I noticed some squeaking sounds coming from the back end of the car. This shop is awesome. Friendly atmosphere when you walk in, and they are very good at what they do. Needed a new motor for my Chevy, and they knocked it out of the park within a week. The found a crack in my radiator along with several other issues that Phil’s Service didn’t catch. Very flexible with payments and time constraints.

I took my vehicle to First Choice Automotive Repair to get A/C repaired and couldnt be happier with the outcome. I have been to a different shop in town several months ago for the same issue (A/C stops blowing air off and on) and was charged almost $800 for changing an air cabin filter and coolant in addition to other recommended services, yet the main problem couldnt be fixed. I read positive reviews on First Choice Automotive Repair and was hoping that I would not get screwed over again.When I got my vehicle back today the problem was fixed, and now A/C works perfectly fine. The short version is that their customer service was excellent the entire time, the work they did was high quality, the price was fair, and I got my car back the very next day. I will go back for future repairs, and I would recommend them to my friends and family. Matt and the crew here are honest and professional.After having a bad experience with the dealership in town, I was looking for an alternative. I brought my vehicle to this shop because the battery light was coming on. I suspected the alternator was going bad. Instead, their technician narrowed the problem down to a broken clip where the wires plug into the alternator which was preventing a solid connection. The technician here was honest and only replaced the clip instead of trying to replace more parts than necessary. When I picked up my car the next day, Matt showed the repairs they made, thoroughly explained the problem, and returned the old clip for comparison. The work looked great, and he also made a few recommendations for the future which I appreciate. A few days have now passed without issue so I am confident that the problem was accurately and properly fixed. I have no complaints about my experience with this shop.

I had a major electrical problem with my truck. I took it in to these guys and they went above and beyond getting it fixed. It took considerably more work than any of us thought but they got it done. They stuck with their quote and I will definitely be going back to them when I need it.

This place was fast and they kept me updated constantly as soon as they found out what the issue was. I had to get my sway bar links replaced. I dropped it off late and they still got the car back to me by the end of the day.

I dropped off my ram 2500 with brake issues and no A/C at 1st choice and the team there couldn’t have been easier to work with. They were straight forward with me about what needed to be done on the truck. We had un expected problems occur during the service that the mechanics took care of and got me back on the road in a hurry. I’ve been to multiple shops in the Killeen area and this one by far is the best. I will be taking all my vehicles here for now on.

Drove from Chicago over 1,100 miles and 1 week into being here the clutch pedal gets stuck. I had no issues with the car prior. Towed it there and the work was done the next day. Picked it up and immediately noticed an electrical issue as the dash board was lit up and the car operating at about 80% power. Took it back two days after I picked it up and they wouldn’t really didn’t do anything to check it out besides lift the hood and tell me prices to look into it more. They contacted me again about the car, said clutch is fine but it’s still having these electrical issues since I picked it up that I didn’t have before, brought it in just to be told it’s an issue not related to the clutch (I agree) but that it was an electrical problem that started after I picked the car up. Got me for my money. Will not recommend.

If you need your car fixed, talk to Matt and he’ll square you away. My altima was down and out, but he brought her back to life. Altima and I have been riding the road ever since. Definitely going back when it’s time.

Went in to fix a/c they were great in that aspect but once I received my vehicle back my check engine light was on. Said it was already on when they received the vehicle but I stopped to put gas in before there and looked right at the dash on multiple occasions even before getting out of my car bc I made sure it was in park and there was no check engine light on. Will not be returning for anything else from them. Beware and make sure you take pictures of your vehicle before handing it over! I am a female and will not be taken advantage of!

Comfortable lobby. Staff couldn’t explain what EXT referenced on invoice. Invoice included a couple lines that explained the ‘Service’ completed on the vehicle except replacing spark plugs & flushing coolant. No future maintenance events were indicated as being required, which would be good to know, plan for, & budgeted. Think businesses have crucial touch-point opportunities to add value when building & maintaining relationships with customers. That didn’t happen as I had hoped.

When I first called for a diagnostic check on my vehicle before going out of town, there were no appointments available. But Matt asked what was my concern and asked me to stop by the shop to take a quick look. I feel he went above and beyond to put my mind at ease. He also went on to let me know that if I were back in town he would do a thorough check on my vehicle and let me know of any issues. I felt comfortable with the knowledge and the honesty of Matt and the rest of the staff.

I needed to find out why my check engine light was on, so I could renew my tag. I gave First Choice a call and spoke to Will. He gave me some insight that it could be one or several different things that would make that light come on. SO, I asked when could come to do the emission diagnostic to pin point the problem, Monday April 4th at 8 am.. I was there, the gentleman took my car back, within a little bit he came out and told Will what was the issue..Once they explained to me what needed to be done, I agreed to repair immediately and within the hour my vehicle was ready. I got in the drivers seat and looked at my instrument panel..NO Check Engine Light On....Thank All For Everything..Rhonda

My vehicle required suspension and radiator maintenance and despite having a large workload already they gave me an accurate wait time for when they would diagnose the vehicles issues. Their timeline and cost estimates afterwards were reasonable. They offer the services of 3rd party loaners (with advice on how to not get gouged on interest rates) if money is an issue. Their intent is to get your vehicle road worthy and offer great customer service in the process. I was very satisfied with their ability to communicate and the quality of their work. I will be going back to them for any issues that I will be unable to fix.

Very professional… the best in town!!!

For a couple years now ive had a chugging problem when my truck would be around 2000RPM and id try to accelerate. ive taken it to a nationally known big name garage twice and a private master mechanic and nobody could seem to figure out what the issue might have been. Matt and his team found the issue, explained everything in great detail and fixed it in the same day. it was the spark plugs...they were just OLD!!! and very worn out. there wasnt enough spark to fire properly and theyd misfire so it caused that chugging. ive been driving it now for 2 days and no chug. this is fantastic. they took care of my front wheel bearings as well and ran a full diagnostic to see if there was anything else that needed to be fixed. there are, but money is tight right now but rest assured, ill be going back to 1st Choice for Matt and his team to take care of my truck the right way. Thanks guys for such great work and customer service.

My wife’s transmission went out in her SUV. I called First Choice and right from the jump Matt was helping me every step of the way. Recently my son needed a new engine in his Camaro. He didnt want me to take it to the Stealership knowing that it would probably take several weeks up to a month waiting to get his car back.. 1st choice quoted him a price well under the Dealership price and had a new engine in 4 days. Looking at the reviews I thought I found the perfect place. Well that wasn’t true. I need front and back brakes and rotors. I already have my own brakes and rotors I just need someone to put them own. The guy told me 300 dollars that’s ridiculous. By far the highest places I’ve called today. They won’t ever get my service.

Brought in my truck that wasnt going into gear. They kept me in the loop on what was going on and were very fair with their prices and had no issues with me bringing in parts that I had purchased from somewhere else that were warrantied. I was contacted at least every 2 days to make sure I knew where they were at in the process of getting my truck fixed and they did an excellent repair job.

I would definitely recommend First Choice Automotive to anyone. They were very professional, honest, precise, and prompt. I went to another well known shop and they listed alot of components that needed to be replaced that were not even related to the issue. I gave them permission to replace the parts related to the issue. When I picked up my vehicle three days later, I still had the exact same with a lighter pocket also. First Choice was able to diagnose the issue correctly and get me back on the road in a day.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE!! Matt Davis was very helpful and walked me throughout the process of getting a new engine for my car. I highly recommend him to anyone who is need quality service and excellent customer service.

After driving the car for about a week now after the repairs, I must say that they did a wonderful job and the car feels like new. One of the problems was a really bad oil leak but I havent seen a single drop since and the engine frame and exterior was cleaned immaculately. Not to mention the great customer service by Matt and his team. This will be my go to for auto repairs from now on.

We saved money and time by towing our car to First Choice - from another local garage.The linkage to the clutch broke on our car. We saw exactly what broke and where, and we’re even able to make the car temporary drivable.We had our car towed to another garage and told them exactly what we needed fixed. After looking at the car (and charging over $100) this other garage told us exactly what we told them and missed two other issues we knew about.After calling Mat at first Choice, we brought our car there. In a couple of hours he called us with a free (correct and complete) diagnostic. In a couple more hours, the car was fixed.In short, we saved money, saved time, had a more complete diagnostic, and nice pressure-free service by choosing First Choice.

Matt was very professional and personable. My truck was working like new, and the service was completed in less that 24 hours. In addition, I was provided with a detailed printout of work completed, parts used and suggestion for future work. This will definitely be my go to auto shop!

Our sons truck needed some brake work done. They did a thorough inspection and found a major issue with the water pump. Thankful they found it before we drove it back 10 miles home as it would not have made it. Awesome job!

Very low pressure atmosphere. Great front desk service and job costs given BEFORE work is begun. All old parts returned or offered upon completion of work. Great service fast and complete.Dropped car off and picked it up same day.AND GET THIS: I mentioned to Matt a problem I had with the power seat. He indicated i could bring the car back anytime and they would have a look at it. I didnt notice until the next day but without asking or telling him about it The problem had been FIXED as a courtesy.No one does anything like that today! I wish I had a fleet of cars to have them take care of. But I only have one that I trust to Matt and his crew.Trust is a tough element in this world and good honest work even harder to find so take it from me and check First Choice Auto out.You ll be glad you did.

I had a suspension issue that was at the point of being a driving hazard. We got an estimate from one shop that was definitely out of budget and more parts and labor that was necessary. EP not only narrowed it down to the major issue,but when the quote was still a out of budget, Matt took a day and found a work around that had us up and running safe and smoothly in no time! Fast, friendly, efficient quality work at a great price. Well definitely be back.
