The builder I used contracted with this company. There were lots of pin holes in the grout after only a few months. I had them come out on multiple occasions to fix the holes. The last time they came out, instead of repairing pinholes with grout, they used caulking. So, as I steam cleaned my floors, I noticed lighter areas in the grout. Closer inspection showed the caulking flaking. They used this caulking to not only repair pin holes but also dime sized holes the occurred because of said pin holes. See picture for reference. The darker wet areas is grout and the lighter areas is caulking.

My name is Jennifer Anderson, I bought a new home from a well known builder in Belton. This company is contracted through the builder and installed my floors in our new home. Our flooring is higher, dips in certain areas, and loose. This company has a poor quality installation and if I could I would give it 0 stars.I called in a warranty service at four months of living in the home and someone came out to take a look at the flooring. He told me that “if he was doing his job” he would not be replacing a part of my floor. Then continued to explain that he would not warranty the repairs that would include cutting the tongue and groove part of the floor. If that part is cut it needs to be glued back instead of actually replacing the portion of floor. Their company would not paint or put my molding back in place after either.My husband and I worked very hard for our new house, we find that this is unacceptable. People should know the type of company they are dealing with before hiring them.

After a bad experience at another place, this place was like a breath of fresh air. We were having a house custom built and were sent here by our builder to pick out our flooring. I cant remember the name of the lady that helped us, but she was great! She had the plans to our house, she had an actual selection sheet that she wrote every selection we made and we were able to have a copy for our records. They had a nice amount of selections with lots of color choices. The lady that helped us was very knowledgeable and totally understood the look I wanted and even had the perfect paint color . I would absolutely use them again. I am so glad that the first place did not work out, because the selections here were so much better.

Building a new house and presented lower end features felt like we had to settle ugh

Years ago we got an estimate for carpet from this shop and we loved their service even though we opted out of the project at that time. We wanted to try again but their hours are horrible - closed all weekend and 8-5 all week?? I guess they want only realtor or contractor business or maybe these are COVID hours.

Paid for wood and tile floors for my house. The tile floors are beautiful, but the wood floors are a disaster. Is it not customary to check for moisture before you lay them? Well they didnt and now my floors are buckling. Asked them to come back and check or give me a new estimate and it was outrageous. It was almost as much as it cost me to get them. I am not satisfied and will never do business with them again. Should have used blfit. At least their work is guaranteed for life.

Our home builder contracts with House of Floors. We went in with our realtor to make our selections. When it came to kitchen backsplash, my husband chose one he liked and the sales associate said it looked great. I knew it was odd but tried not to worry. Fast forward to now, the backsplash is awful, it clashes with the granite and come to find out it is BATHROOM tile. Why no one told us this is beyond me. So we are now going to have to pay to have it professionally redone on our brand new house.

Jeff and Chip came out to do my master bedroom floor. Very professional! Very knowledgeable and very forthcoming with answers to all my of questions and concerns. They did a very professional job. Also, a big thanks to Gina for tracking down a specific color of flooring I was looking for.

The crew I had out to my house did a really great job, the carpet looks terrific. They were nice and courteous. Im just glad I didnt walk out of the showroom, which I wanted to, because of the gum popping girl at the front desk. One more minute and I would have had to leave, good pricing or not! No one wants to hear chomp chomp smack smack

Service was excellent. They found the floor we needed to match existing floors and the installation team was professional and courteous.

Gave me a quote over the phone to remove current flooring and install a specific type of flooring that we requested. They said they would send someone out to give an exact estimate. When the man arrived he brought a sample of the requested material but said he would not do our job. He then tried to get us to use a more expensive product. Sure felt like a bait and switch deal to me. It was a total waste of my time. They seem pretty crooked. Beware!

The entire experience, from the first call and choosing the flooring was easy with the friendly service and expertise. Gina helped me choose right away and made awesome recommendations for inside flooring, stairs, and front porch tile, all look fabulous and the installers were all prompt, courteous, and did a fantastic job, and Im picky!

I am giving one star only because I cant give zero.Floors were installed improperly and have noticeable damage after just three years. After House of Floors inspected the damage, their representative stated he did not know what the problem was. However, this level of basic incompetence turned out to be too convenient for me to believe.To investigate the nature of the floors deteriorating, we contacted the manufacturer to inquire about a possible manufacturing defect. The manufacturer told us the floors were installed improperly and the trow ridges are now showing through. The manufacturer also stated that these problems take months to years to show, and will get worse over time.We contacted house of floors to inform them the manufacturer stated it was an installation issue. Their response was disgusting; the owner stated since they were not contacted within the first year about the issue there is no warranty. As mentioned above, improper installation may takemonths to years to manifest. These are floors that are supposed to last 50 years and look terrible after just 3 years.We then asked for a quote to get the floors fixed. At the very least we expected a discount on replacing the floors. After asking for a quote to replace the floors we were constantly ignored or told we would get a call back shortly. Three weeks later, and after we had to call them repeatedly we were quoted a price of $7,500 to replace less than 1,000 sq/ft of flooring that is in the owners words, the cheapest **** on the market....Of equal importance to the sheer incompetence and goatscaping is how I was treated as a customer. The representatives were demeaning and even used vulgarity to express their disdain for us. I understand sometimes bad employees slip through the cracks, but it is clear that treating people poorly stems from the top down as the owner mimicked the same mentality.Please, do yourself a favor and buy your flooring somewhere, seriously anywhere else.

Guys, I see your commercials daily, and all I can say is cringe worthy. That woman has a terrified deer in the headlights look, has no personality, and takes no breaths as she is reading cue cards. Like she is scared to take a breath and thinks if she hurries through it without a small pause between sentences then she can make a run for it. She also stands stiff as a board as if also to scared to move. A wooden plank would have more of a personality than her. Encourage her to watch that standard insurance commercial and take note on that bubbly lady that smiles and has a bust of energy during the commercials. She can do. If not find a person like the standard insurance lady, or higher an actor who knows what they are doing.

We finally had our grout that was done by HOF looked at by another contractor. He confirmed our suspensions that that grout was in fact mixed improperly. We had HOF tile our entryway and living room. All of the grout is full of holes and gaps down to the concrete. We were told by HOF that our dogs caused the holes. Yes, they did, but only because the grout was too dry. We actually stayed in a hotel to make sure our dogs were off the grout for the time specified by HOF. Think about it. If my dogs nails caused the problem, then why is the rest of my grout throughout my home fine? We did try to talk to HOF, but all they were willing to do was fill in the grout. Filling in bad grout does not fix the problem! It has to be completely redone. Now we have to pay someone to fix their bad work!
