I like this thrift store. The sections are usually nice, neat, and separted by size (except the shoes). The staff are friendly. They also have a huge selection of everything. The only thing I noticed was the prices for some items were way too high! Im not sure who does the pricing but maybe they need more training on that. A pair of dirty scouffed up baby shoes for $29...thats crazy! Thats not the only overpriced ítem I noticed and everything isnt overpriced. Just some things. They do run good holiday sales. So Id say try them out you might find something good.

Cashier was rudeCame to the register with a pair of ceramic figures only 1 had a price on it so I thought it was for both, first thing she says is I know for a fact these both had price tags felt like she was implying something. I wont be backAnd she needs some better training on the register and her etiquette.

They had lots of clothing and decorations for holidays. Not much as far as furniture was concerned. Please note Staff is friendly and very helpful.

This location is drunk when they price items. Holy Toledo Batman! I have read so many reviews about them price gouging, yet they stand firm that they price fair. I do not mind paying a marked up price at a thrift, but I did NOT drop any coin at this place today. Please pay attention to your customer comments and be more sensible with pricing.

They have a great selection today.. to bad we could not grab the gumball machine. Whomever gets it great find... thanks everyone that works at the Texas thrift yall are extremely patient with us.

They have raised their prices to high. A new bag of poly fill with a Hobby Lobby price tag of $3.99 has a thrift store price of $6.98. Alt the employees were very courteous though.

It kinda sucked that I couldnt try on clothes and had to guess if I fit them or not. But other than that they have cool stuff

I love thrift stores, but this was more like a junk store. And it was insanely hot inside.

My experience is always good. The workers are very helpful, The store is always clean and organize, and the price is cheap.

Found some good things. Some prices on clothes too high. Can get same priced things brand new at Ross. However I like the color coded discounts if I could find them.

We drove an hour to come check this store out. It wasn’t worth the gas. Not for a lack of inventory, but purely for pricing. It was absolutely absurd. Pieces of candle holders for $20, small outdated kitchen appliances without all the pieces for $40 and $50 dollars. Chipped and cracked coffee mugs for $4 and $5 dollars. A medium sized canvas picture from discount store was marked for $20 (tag was on the back for $10 bucks from the discount store. Clothes were also well over priced. This isn’t a second hand boutique or a little shop. This is a massive bulk style thrift store much like a very large goodwill.NOT worth the time.

I put all my things back because this store gouge prices. All of their items are donated and people working with limited income is sometime able to find things for their children that are slightly used and still wearable, at a good price. I shopped thrift stores for over 40 years and I have never seen toddler tennis shoes for 35 dollars in the thrift store. Today I did. And I was GOBBEDSMACKED!!!

The store is cleaner than it used to be. the people are decent. The clutter is gone...honestly, thats what made thrifting fun and worth doing. Hand me downs next to junk. So many things to look at Now became more limited and gouged prices is just absurd. Ill admit I dont understand the practice but I do understand paying $20 or more for shoes would be just an insult to thrifting.

I love shopping here, but the manager of this store ruins it!!! One day she’ll be smiling and talking to you and the next day she’ll be the rudest person ever to you. Also with the mask situation, sometimes I forget mines at home; however, they can’t even offer us one like ALL the other stores do. They threaten to kick us out or call law enforcement. Yet everyone gives to them; and the least they can do is give people a mask if they don’t have one instead of yelling at them.

Its a nice place to shop I dont like that they do not take returns or exchanges so I dont care for that

Love this store, have bought many decorative pieces for my new place. Also have purchased many scrub tops there as I get tired of wearing the same ones. Texas Thrift has me a large selection of scrubs to choose from. Also shop for other family members here as well.

Prices have definitely gone up for from a year or so ago. Considering their product is all donated I would think they could offer better pricing to the customers.

It’s a nice place with nice stuff but OMG they are crazy with the prices, like some Nike shoes for 90.00 dollars?? even with the discounts they are like 50 which is crazy to me because this are literally donated things like am I shopping at a thrift store or the Nike store ? It’s not fair how expensive this things are specially in a middle of a pandemic

Its in a rough area, its in an old Hastings which was nostalgic. It had much more than I anticipated. We would go again. We found some clothes, toys, an unopened single use camera we were excited about and an electric bug zapper. Good haul.

My wife and her daughter shop here all the time and brings home some great finds. Last trip our daughter found a Yetti thermos for $5 that retails for $100... The Holiday Sales are my favorites as I’ll tag along and have found deals on clothes, cowboy boots, and household goods.

I bought some movies and a couple books here. There are a lot of goodies here.

I Found a cute pair of womens ankle boots. Thought they were 7.99. Got to the register and turned out they were 79.99!!! I embarrassingly gasped out loud. I thrift a few times a week. This is the new record for the most over priced pairs of shoes Ive found. Some of their western boots are up to $200. Keep in mind that these are items at this company receives for FREE! I gave it two stars instead of one since you can still find good deals.

Overpriced. What happened to good deals?I shopped here since it opened and the prices were great, now they want to charge you what you pay for it at a store. I saw raggedy dolls for $19.99, old porcelain dolls, stained, messy for $16.66. An old candle that I pay $1.26 new at Walmart for $1.36 used!Furniture that is falling apart for $250!If this keeps up I dont see them staying in business.I overhead them training someone in the back and they look to see what the items go for online, thats good when you dont get them donated and whey they are in good condition.Stick to Good will.

Worst thrift store Ive been to. Youre items are donations! Why would you try to sell them at almost brand new prices? Its horrible when a place that is meant to help people in need take advantage of those in need. My 2 year old son needed to use the restroom badly and they wouldnt let him use it. Dont go here!

Store states they cannot allow for medical exemption letters from physicians due to company policies. For a person who is legitimately unable to wear a face covering due to medical reasons I was told I could not be allowed in even when I presented my letter.Our governor mandated that all guidelines must be followed during this crisis, including medical exemption letters. So when this store chose to ignore that portion of the mandate it violated my rights as an individual with a medical condition that limits my use of a face covering. As well as violated the guidelines presented by the Texas Governor. How is this legal? How is this ok? Why does this company feel it is ok to make that discrimination towards those who are medically unable to wear a mask? Why do companies feel that it is ok to choose which guidelines they can and cannot follow?This is definitely not a company that supports their customers and communities.

Why are the prices keep going up on donated items? I understand if purchased, but prices on donated items is ridiculous. It appears management increasing prices to recoup loses during this pandemic and again a bad practice.

Pretty normal second gand store, but there was quite a bit of disorganization in some parts of the store but the clothing sections were well organized with a nice variety.

This store has a great number of things but the thing that keeps Away is the over pricing it’s crazy. I came in today looking for scrubs or uniform Every brand fits different I asked for a fitting room and they said it was close and at the check out I asked if they don’t fit can I bring back and they say no. So, I won’t be coming for a while.

This place is very flip floppy and very disappointing. for a lot of the stuff that is in there is overpriced and you cant return something if it doesnt even fit you when the fitting rooms are closed. Ive always gotten officer discount, one day I went in there and they said they dont do it and Ive always gotten it so Im not sure whats the deal with that but I will no longer be coming to this store.

I only gave three and all three is because and for some great employee.At first this place was cheap and reasonable but like other thrift stores they have become greedy. I know because I knew a manger there and I work there for labor ready they hold the good jewelry until after 99cent day the swap out tags and the sell sets like bedding and a few other stuff. The best place to go is Goodwill outlet and a few small thrift store...These places get greedy and its free to them plus theres a not return policy not even store credit on items messed up.

I used to shop here all the time and find great deals but recently I went in and since the rearranging of the store the baby section decreased dramatically which was a huge disappointment. Also I wish like crazy they would organize the childrens clothes by size! You gotta have a whole lot of time on your hands to rummage through ALL of the kids clothes in the hope that it will be the right size. Love this store but some changes would make it phenomenal!

Personal friendly and helpful. There are some really nice clothes if you take the time to look. I picked out a gorgeous red Cabin Creek blouse in excellent condition. Also a Chico jacket beautiful. Prices are much lower than the Goodwill and much better quality and condition. I thoroughly enjoyed myself

This is one of my most favorite places. There’s always a good find here! The clothes are usually in good to excellent condition, this is the only place I can find skirts for my 6 year old.Store is kept as neat as possible with the amount of customers they usually have. Holidays are usually 50% off and I love the tag of the day specials. Again, I love this place!

I have shopped at Texas Thrift in Killeen, Texas for several years since they have opened. I started shopping again once they were open after the virus shut down. I am not sure who the manager is because over the last three weeks I have shopped there I have asked to speak with the manager. Each time I was directed to a different person. The items for purchases throughout the store are terribly overpriced. I am terribly disturbed by this action of price increase. If you didn’t know 32 KISD elementary school districts students receive free or reduced lunches. Also the employees are severely underpaid and overworked. I thought Texas Thrift was is designed to help Texans in need. If so, this is not what’s happening in Killeen, Texas. I recently went to the Killeen, Texas Thrift and found some China that looked almost like the pattern of my mothers wedding China. This is a resale facility to help the people of Texas! Can somebody explain this problem!!!
