I called them out to check the balance of my door for me since the install. The Tech was very professional and explained every detail to me and also how to maintain my door and opener to me. Killeen Overhead reasonably quoted me a cosmetic door and they worked with me for weeks while I coordinated with our contractors to prepare for its installation. Laurie (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) was patient, thorough, and she saved me a ton of money. We now have a new garage door company!

Robbie came by initially and changed out a broken spring and the second time he came out he installed my new garage door and my lift master opener. He was very knowledgeable about what he does, and we would recommend him specifically from now on. We have lived here for years, went through various companies but never had service so efficient. Last year I needed the garage door fixed on a house I had just bought so I could move my stuff in. If the door didnt work, Id have to use the front door, which wouldve made the move much more painful. Brett came over on a Saturday morning and fixed it quickly. He also replaced some extra parts at no extra charge and gave me pointers on maintaining the garage door. Id definitely recommend.

I just want to say that Laurie Luster from Killeen over head doors is such a great person. I came in looking for a part for my garage door opener, having no clue what the part was called or even where to get it. So Laurie took it upon herself to find the part that I needed, the beauty of it is how she did it. Laurie, searched an searched for a few days but finally she was able to find it. Instead of Laurie charging an arm an a leg for it, she send me the link on where I could find it the cheapest. Her company didn’t make no money from me, but they sure did make a future customer. I cant say enough about this company and the tech they sent out, Brian. I called this morning as soon as they opened. Told them what the problem was, they checked the schedule and made the appointment. Within 10 minutes Brian called me and let me know he was on his way. He got here, got to it, and got it done! My garage door broke, called a different repair company first that said they would be at my house between 12 and 2. They never showed. I called Killeen Overhead Doors and they were at my house within 15 minutes and fixed my garage door within 20 minutes. Thankfully no parts were needed. The guys that came were very polite, efficient and friendly.

Purchased a LiftMaster 8355W Garage Door Opener on Friday, 19 June 2020; the installation was scheduled for 23 June between 8:00 AM - 1200. On Tuesday, the K.O.D. technician Robbie arrived on right on time (8:15). He went to work immediately removing the old opener and installing the new one. Robbie worked rapidly and completed the install quickly. After ensuring I understood the operation and operator maintenance required, we discussed my need for a new garage door (door on the garage was 25 years old). I decided to replace the door and ordered a new door with a Thursday (6/25) delivery and install. Again, Robbie was my technician. To my surprise, he was alone and would do the install single-handedly. Robbie completed the install in about an hour and a half. The result, a professionally installed door and opener. Robbie is a true professional and an excellent representative for Killeen Overhead Doors.

So I called asking for a part that I need to finish a project I had and the lady didnt know what I was talking about so I email them, later I call them the said they dont know. I went to the store to show them the part because it was impossible they dont know what it was but they just ignore me, I just call another store in Harker Heights and the person knew quickly what it was and he told me that he dont have it in stock. Really bad experience and lost of time, please put someone there who knows what he/she is doing!!!

Our garage door had a problem this morning, and I immediately called Killeen Overhead doors who installed the door 21 years ago. Lucky for us, they gave me an appointment for today.between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. The dispatcher told me the repairman would call us before coming to the house. As promised, around 12:30 pm, Cory called and said he would be at our home at 2:00 pm., He arrived as promised and had the door repaired in no time. He was timely, professional, and courtesy. We were so happy!!

7 April 15 These guys were great! I called and with in 30 minutes had someone at the house fixing my door. Cable had come unwound from one side. The guy came and fixed made some small adjustments for me on the door to help it operate much better. As a small business owner myself I know the importance of Customer service. I had a great experience with these guys. I recommend them and will use them again if I need to.

These people are the most professional, expert and nicest people in town, period. And believe it or not, they were the best price I could find too. After calling around to several different places, Killeen Overhead and Doors got me an upgraded door, insulated, opener and installed for the same price as other companies were quoting me for just the door.Secondly, my door is a custom fit due to a remodel. I thought a garage door was something I could do myself. I am soooo glad I had K.O.D. install my door, because there were several things I would have never figured out on my own. They retro fitted some parts from another door/manufacturer and did some crazy things I would have NEVER thought to do, like turn a wheel backwards in order to get this thing to fit and work properly.Seven years later, a piece of my door broke (from normal wear and tear), they came and fixed it... Premier Overhead Doors came the day before, looked at the garage door, instantly stated they couldn’t fix the problem and still charged me $30 for coming out. Dennis and Mike show the next morning to assess the problem. Within 15-20 minutes the door was fixed. $95, quick, polite, professional and gone to next job. Great employees and business ethics. Recommend to everybody.

My garage door return cable had come off and one of their representatives, Dennis, happened to be in the neighborhood. Even though it was a Saturday afternoon and their office was closed already, he happily stopped by to offer some advice and showed me how to adjust the return torsion spring right there on the spot. Brett went above & beyond. Their office hours state they close @ 5 p.m., but Brett didnt leave until 6:23 p.m. The service call was for my shop door, but when he arrived, I remembered that a contractor had disconnected the mechanism for my garage door. I figured hed need to make another appointment to work on it, but he started working on that first. It ended up needing an adjustment on the chain, service for the tracks, & a new opener button for the wall. He took the time to educate me about shop & garage door maintenance & didnt mind when I asked him to explain one mechanism again so I could write down the info for future reference. I was really impressed with his level of expertise, attention to detail, & customer service. Both the shop door & garage door work like champs now.

I had a new opener installed by this company. The work was great. The two gentlemen that were here were professional and friendly. However, they did not leave me a piece of the system. I had to call back to have them drop it off. Not a big deal there.They dont bill, so I had to call in my card for payment. I called in payment as they were still sitting in my driveway. I had no issue with doing that. A week later I get a call saying that they were going to place a lien against my house for nonpayment. What? So I called them and the excuse was the girl that took the card number probably doesnt have it anymore. Good to know they protect consumer information. The second time they took my card payment.Do they do good work? Yes, but their follow through and billing/payment policies are horrible.I personally dont like having to follow up with a company or get lien threats because of errors on their part.5 Stars for the installers. 2 for the office. I cant do 1/2 stars, therefore they get an overall 3. Will I use them again? Im not sure.

If there was a 0 star rating I would do that. I called for estimate and was told when somebody is in the area theyll call you. Here we are 2 days later no follow up, no calls, nothing. Since then I called a different company that assessed the repair, estimated, and completed the work in less than 24 hours. This company will not value you as a customer unless you commit to doing business with them ahead of time. Such is the case, I will never be a customer of this company if it means I will be depriortized to the bottom of the list because I wont commit my money to you blindly.

I got three bids. These guys wanted about $100 more for the garage door but they were the only ones that said they could fix the opener. Everyone else wanted $300 to put in a new one so they saved me $200. And the quality of the work seems good. I just with their prices for new and insulated doors were a bit less.

We have a 20 year old garage door and were looking for an affordable solution to getting it working again. These guys showed up with parts in hand to fix it after the initial inspection on it. No BS, just problem solvers. Our door now works beautifully and they were 100% up front with us on how long the fix would last and what wed be looking at down the road. Well definitely be buying a new garage door down the line from these guys. They even came over the next day to make sure it was working well and that the replacement parts held at no extra cost.

Killeen Overhead Doors came outgot the door open and after that, I could not let another companyinstall a new system. K.O.D.s guy came out and had the new system]in in a flash. Terrible customer service. I called last Friday to have someone come out and look at an issue from the last time they sent someone out. They told me it would be $135 to come out after hours so I asked them to come Monday. I text the guy my number and address. Monday comes and no one comes so I call, get put on hold and the phone hung out. Tried calling them back and got no answer. Absolutely terrible customer service.

I highly recommend this company because after dealing with Premier Overhead Doors who rescheduled on me three times, then canceled on me, and gave an estimate of $170-230, Killeen Overhead Doors came to save the day. John was at my house within 30 minutes and fixed my garage door within another 30mins and only charged me $95. I’ll recommend this company to everyone I know.

Apparently this company thinks they are entitled to your business and can treat customers anyway they like, rude, disrespectful and condescending. You will get told one thing and do whatever they like. Dont worry about wanting to talk to a manager or supervisor because you will get hung up on. Dont worry I will never recommend this company to any of my friends or coworkers. Hope you go bankrupt and your company is replaced by a more customer oriented company.

I contacted this company 3 times. Twice by phone and the last time I came to the office. I was trying to get a quote for 2 new garage doors. All three times I contacted them I was told they would call me back with the quote. They must be too busy to get back to me as I still have yet to receive a quote. I did everything I could to give you my business and you failed to even make a simple phone call.....

Awesome service, both from the ladies in the office and the technician Brett who came out the same day. After waiting for 2 other companies for 2 days, but never showed or called. Found out that most of the companies listed are not established businesses, but individuals called tailgaters due to the fact they have no place of business other than their truck. Most have no insurance to protect you and your home, there was one who was a sex offender, a other who supposedly is in jail now for taking folks money and not finishing the work.

Was charged 75.00 to come out and fix my garage door took all of 20 min., but tech dIdnt fix the reason the door messed up in the in first place. Tech told me when I asked if all issues were fixed and he told me yes. Issue still with door opener that shold have been adjusted when he was here. Called and was told it would be another75.00 to come back out to make an adjustment to opener. This is a safety issue and they wount fix it. DONT USE THIS COMPANY.

Needed repairs twice within a month and Brett was kind enough to come out on a Friday night to check on the problem even after it had been fixed two weeks ago. Prompt and corteous. Even before I was able to get ahold of our door guy, another person returned my call within an hour. Highly recommend their services.

Well let just say no call and no show. I guess they get to you when they can. They sent a tech out to adjust out door and put it back on track, they were supposed to call the following day regarding a new panel for the garage door and they never called. When I called to find out what was going on, the person told me Ill have someone call you in the morning and then hung up on me without confirming anything. RUDE!! They came out and had to reduce some else’s mess up. They had to go back and get a part but came back and did a great job.

Been waiting now for the 3 days for an estimate, not a call nothing. In the mean time my garage still unable to open or close while waiting for repairs. It gets harder and harder every day to get my wheelchair in and out thru my front door where it is not fix to accommodate it. I was trying to back out of wendys and a guy named Ds (truck says John) intentionally pulled up behind me to block me in. I honked my horn and he started honking back!! Very rude and unprofessional. He was driving and talking on the phone. Not a very good way to represent the company.

So, my manager calls over to the on Monday and was told it would take 2 days for someone to come out, when my manager suggested that would not work because our gate was off-line and not working, she was told that someone would call her back. No one did. This morning she calls over there and was told if she wanted service she would have to call back after 5:00, speak to Dennis, swore, passed the phone to someone else who reiterated my manager would have to speak to Dennis to get emergency service and then hung up. If you know Dennis, please call him for us. We have NO CLUE why these ladies in the office got angry, swore and hung up.
