I truly wish that I could leave more than five stars for the exceptional service we receive every time that we are in the store. In early 2021, my teenage son had saved his money to purchase a camera body and lens. After looking around online we decided to go to Cardinal in the hopes that purchasing from a local brick and mortar store would be a better experience than buying online. Although this included a drive, Chad the Store Manager, made it a wonderful experience. He treated my teenage son with respect and patience and even offered to help him in the store if he had any questions in the future. It was not the most expensive set up in the store, but Chad gave him his undivided attention and understood what an important day this was for him. My Dad came along with us and was so impressed with the experience that when my older son left for college this summer, he also purchased a camera at Cardinal for a gift for him. Even when we are in buying small accessories, we are always helped and all the other customers in the store are engaged with the Cardinal staff and we always learn something. This evening I finally had to sit down and take the time to write a review. My younger son needed to send out his camera for repair. This camera has become an extension of his body. It is like part of the family. Chad once again saved the day and found a solution so that he would not miss deadlines and client projects that he had worked so hard to gain. You will never get this kind of service online. It really is worth taking the time to go into the store and talk to people and be able to feel confident about what you are purchasing. Also, I highly recommend the warranty they offer:) Thank you Chad and Cardinal, you will have the boys business forever.
Chads the man !!! I was in a pretty bummer situation finding out that both my camera and lens needed to be warrantied due to what I assume is a connection issue. While this certainly isn’t ideal, Cardinal Camera handled the situation better than I could have asked for. Within five minutes of walking in the store we were already assured that the camera would be sent out for a warranty process. Not only that but I got a loaner Camera and Lens!!! This was a huge relief with the constant projects going on. Buy from real people not robots and you’ll have a better experience !!! 🙂
I went in with a (what I thought was) completely broken camera- they took a look at it and told me what was wrong in about 2 minutes, and now it works like new. They were super nice and helpful and I will certainly be purchasing my next camera here.

Absolutely incredible experience. We typically have sourced from larger companies in the past, but we took a chance with Cardinal Camera for the first time and were extremely surprised with the service. Chad was professional, highly responsive, and transparent. We look forward to working with them for more production needs.
I was using their online website to create a professional photo album because I understand their products are some of the best in the industry, but at three separate locations over the years the employees couldn’t be more less helpful or arrogant. Each time I have asked simple questions on how or what something meant and the lack of assistance and attitude as if I was bothering them couldn’t be more apparent. At this point I will no longer be purchasing anything from that store nor recommend them to anyone. It’s sad how little they care.
Had a great overall experience- purchased Sony ILC mirrorless camera.... Very competitive pricing, solid availability of cameras, lenses and quality accessories. No pressure, just solid technical and user advise- see Chad, he is the manager; very knowledgeable, straightforward & will make sure you get (just) what you need; and is long-time photog enthusiast.

I was instantly awe struck by all the equipment around the store. The manager was thw only person working that night and had to bounce between multiple customers but he was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about photography, he helped me find the right filter for what I wanted to shoot.I would gladly come back here should I need anymore equipment.

I cannot say enough about Chad (Store manager) and Cardinal Camera in King of Prussia. I had spoken to Chad about upgrading my Pentax K10D to a K1 Mark II and after a twenty minute discussion he had me convinced to buy a Sony A7R III or Sony A7R IV. He literally spent twenty minutes answering my questions and going over the details of what I wanted in a camera and how I intended to use it. Then, after placing an order for a grey market camera online I called the store back having had 2nd thoughts about grey market items (and not having realized even that they were grey market at the time of purchase). Chad spent another hour on the phone with me going over my options and gave me an excellent deal on US stock. Then over the course of next day or so he kept me up to date on the status of my order and even offered to deliver the items to my house. I eventually went to the mall to pick it up as I was headed over there anyway for another item and Chad met me outside with my boxes and kindly put them in my trunk in a contactless delivery.From start to finish I felt as if I mattered to Chad and Cardinal Camera. I wasnt just a sale. I was a person who wanted to purchase a camera and was treated as such. Chad did not even know that I was going to buy from them when I initiated contact and yet he still spent a significant portion of time going over my options and educating me about cameras and camera related equipment.I had been to Cardinal Camera prior to the pandemic and had the same experience when buying film and accessories for my old AE1 and old Pentax film cameras. I also had contacted their main office and lab in Lansdale and had spoken to one of the techs there and had another twenty minute conversation with a woman who processed film for the stores. The entire time we I spoke to both the tech and the manager at KoP, I felt that as a customer I mattered and that made all the difference.This last go round just solidified my patronage of Cardinal Camera and I will continue to do business with them as they have shown yet again that they put their customers first and provide first rate information/sales/service. You can tell they love what they do and that has translated into an excellent experience every time Ive dealt with them. Kudos to the entire team for a creating such a wonderful atmosphere. The manager is great. Im new to photography and he offered to get me on their mailing list for classes to expand my skills, talked with me about some equipment to look into very friendly. The rest of the employees how ever. I walked in a few days later and they couldnt be bothered to help me. They acted as if the baseball game on TV was more important than the store. They were annoyed to be there. When telling me about my equipment rather than welcoming me into photography the man stated doesnt really matter what you have if you cant take a good picture and left it at that. Very rude very disrespectful. Worst of all these were grown men acting like this, in their late 40s. Go somewhere else if the manager isnt working.
I have always had a very good experience at this store. I was helped by Dan today. He was caring knowledgeable and very helpful.I will be buying my next camera here. They will help me get the most out of my camera. Internet wasnt helpful to me.People who post negative reviews are usually negative people. They dont appreciate how life is.Thanks Dan!!
Honestly, they have great inventory, but that dude Dan is a pushy pompous ass... He must have mentioned that he was a professional photographer 5 times and only seemed interested in selling the T6i... When I said let me think, he turned his back and walked away. EAD dude... And trading me the lens from the T6i kit for a better, non Cannon lens and then reselling the Cannon lens as a stand alone item to another customer? I wonder if Cannon is okay with that?

Went in about 6 months wanting to know more about tripods as I was looking to upgrade. He was very rude and didnt answer any questions. As I was looking around flat out asked if I was gonna buy anything. Save your money and go to Webb cam or the camera store, both are much nicer and have better stock.

I had to go here to buy a new lens cap. if I could have, I would have bought on-line. Im guessing the only reason these guys are in business is because of people like me that cant wait for something to be shipped. The guy was about as helpful as a wet noodle (but he had less of a personality). He even tried to make me feel stupid for not wanting to spend $40 on a UV filter. no thanks, Ive got a computer and Ill bet it on-line.
Came here to get Canadian passport photos (slightly different size than US photos). They said no problem, they can do it. They gave us photos in the wrong size that almost caused my girlfriends application to be rejected.
I want to inform everyone I know NEVER to purchase anything from Cardinal Camera at the King of Prussia Mall. They (knowingly) sold me a piece of equipment that is not compatible with my camera and when I asked them to exchange it for the appropriate model, they refused. The sales person conveniently threw away the box upon the purchase, so I could up it right on my camera. And when they asked if I had the box, I explained to them that the sales person threw it away. I was completely taken advantage of, and its clear from other reviews Ive read that its customary for them to rip people off. They also dont have a record of my purchase, even though I purchased an extended warranty through them. Disgraceful, especially since I would have been a good customer. Save yourself money and aggravation and purchase whatever you need from Amazon or B&H photo. Cardinal Camera

When I was asking them to pricematch certain items at big box stores, they refused even though they initially said they would match physical location prices. I then asked about online prices like Amazon and Newegg, and they tried to convince me that Amazon and Newegg would rip me off and I should never order anything online. They told me a long story about how they ordered a $3000 lens from Amazon and it never showed up and they werent refunded (definitely not true), and how B&H Video is a front-site that will rip me off and wont still exist in 6 months time. It all just felt as if they were ripping me off.

I went to the shop in Montgomery Mall and I found the same experience as others where they sold me a wireless shutter remote that is not compatible. actually i found out my camera cannot use wireless!!!!!!
