Our not too old refrigerator stopped cooling during a client stay at our AirBnB on a Saturday afternoon. Not too many services open on Saturday. Chris was available and got there in minutes and got things working right away. He recommended some preventive maintenance services and was reasonably priced so I went with the additional repairs. Im out of state so it was refreshing to get the honest scoop and the client is happy. Thank you Chris and Kingman Appliance.

Avoid these incompetent, liars! They cannot fix my fridge, yet they twice said it was fixed before rushing out the door! They made me pay for a part that I did not need and will not put old part back and give a refund! Said they gave me a 90 day warranty. What good is that when first part wasnt broken, and new one didnt fix it? And, my fridge wont be fixed by 90 days!These people do not respond to texts in a reasonable time. They keep making appointments, but do not show up, dont let you know theyre running late, make new time appointments, then dont show up for those either.They have treated me so badly, especially Josh and Chris, that Im filing a complaint against them and taking them to small claims court to get my money back for that unneeded part.AVOID THESE INCOMPETENT LIARS! ONLY THING THEYRE GOOD AT IS AGGRAVATION!

Our refrigerator decided to take a rest. We are new to the area and went to Home Depot to buy a new one. It takes several days to get one so that was out. We went to Kingman appliance to see what was available in good used. We talked with James and he said he could probably fix the fridge we have and we like this fridge so we asked when he could look at it. (Bear in mind we were having food items thawing). He said he could look at it later that day. He came around 4pm and worked on our fridge until 8pm. His charge was very reasonable and our fridge works great. If we need appliance repair in the future James will be our first stop. Thank you James!

I purchased a washer and dryer also paid for delivery and installation. They did not deliver so my daughter went to their shop to check on the purchased items, the delivery persons were about to deliver the wrong set and continued to delay (it was about 8 pm) when finally Chris showed up and began painting the washer and drier for some reason! This late in the evening! They said they would deliver and install just after 5 pm. By then it was 9 pm! The delivery man and woman delivered but only partially installed the washer and started it. Only hooked up to hot water he said that he would be back firat thing I. The morning. No show! I called and called both the shop and the delivery phone! No answer! When the delivery guy finally answered about 5 pm ( which was Sunday) he said he’s waiting for his daughter to show up. None of my business as I’m a Paying customer! He did not show up in fact he blocked my phone number. They stopped answering any of our calls! Monday morning we went to the shop to talk to Chris and to get a refund. No one there we went back every 2 hours still no one! I left numerous messages! I have him on camera stating that he will in fact install and test to make sure they work! Also have him on camera that they guarantee These items for 90 days !I would never recommend this place of disservice to anyone! I’m calling lawyer!

Legitimately the worst experience Ive ever had with a business. Paid $400 for delivery and installation of a clean, working washer and dryer. James flaked for a week, then delivered a broken and dirty washer and dryer at 9pm. Never installed them, so I did that myself, finding our they didnt work. He flaked and literally ghosted me for another 3 days before replacing with another broken set that I installed myself. Now I have a non functioning washer filled with water that wont drain sitting in my house, and Ive given up trying to reach him after three more days of ghosting. Ive had to file a fraud claim with my bank for the charge because of this. Astonishing this business is still active.Go literally anywhere else. Save yourself the frustration.

I looked this place up online moving from Utah..it said been there since 1954! I assumed long good standing business...However I was promised a used in good condition fridge for 200$ plus an 85$ delivery fee...the owner told me it had a few songs but in perfect working condition and if I didnt like it a 90 day money back gaurantee...i told them of the vital importance of having installed before I got there due to storing my insulin in the fridge for my diabetes and my 85 year old father already in the home...they promised same day delivery did not bring it the same day with no call ...after I arrived 4 days later from Utah the fridge did not work had holes and and multiple giant scratches also very dirty mainly not working! I have called everyday for a week with no response...and gave been told by others that this Man is not honest to deal with so I am forced today to buy another fridge! We have filed a small claim in court

I bought a sxs fridge from James. He promised to hook up the water/ice. When the fridge was finally delivered, it was really dirty and gross. He promised to clean it. Never made good on his promises and never returned my calls. So here I am stuck with old stinky that doesnt make ice. Dont buy from this cheat!

We bought a used Whirlpool washer/dryer in 2009 from Kingman Appliance. They have serviced them a few times and both are still in excellent working condition. We are very happy with this company and would highly recommend them.

I had a dryer motor that was making all kinds of squealing, called Kingman Appliance and asked if the had a replacement motor.They said theyd sell me a used one for $35.00!Super nice guy, friendly and informative.Now, as I type this, my dryer is spinning and drying very quietly!Thanks to Kingman Appliance, my dryer works and I saved some money!

I was ripped off for $100. Purchased a washers from Kingman Appliances 2 days ago. Washer only filled up n quit.CALLED THIS APPLIANCE CO. THEY LIED SAID THEY WERE COMING BY 5:00.YESTERDAY SAID THEYD BE HERE BY 5:00. They had said theyd b here to pick it up also. TWO DAYS NO SHOW, THEY WONT REFUND AND NOW THEY ARE AVOIDING ME. I want to thank Kingman Appliance Repair for doing a great job repairing my freezer. Chris was willing to come out at a moments notice and save a few hundred dollars of frozen food from ending up in the trash. He replaced the parts and everything has been working fine. He also gave me some pointers on how to prevent the problem from happening again. I highly recommend this company for any of your appliance repairs.

Dunno, maybe others have had better experience. All I know is we had to call several times and make an appointment to meet him there, cuz theyre never open otherwise, the appliance (used) seemed a bit over-priced and he wouldnt budge a dime, he wont do any delivery even for a fee, and once it leaves the door they offer no guarantee whatsoever. Might have been a legit appliance store at one time, but now its basically just a bunch of Craigslist stuff being sold out of a storefront by appointment... Pass.

Called Kingman Appliance Repair to schedule repair on our ice maker. I the course of my conversation with Chris, I asked how long he had been repairing appliances. After I scheduled an appointment he called me back and said his wife will not let him repair my refrigerator because I had questioned his integrity. I was very confused by his statement and said it sounded a little strange as all I did was ask about his experience level. I would not recommend this repair service to any one. It is a shame as Chris and his wife could of had many more customers from positive recommendations.

Showed up said he couldn’t repair our washer and he needed to send one of the younger guys. Sends his son who works under another name, took $200 and the machine wasn’t fixed. Tried and tried to get him to return without success. Then when I called Kingman Appliance the owner pretended to not even know who Charles was or how Charles got our information. We had to have someone else come and fix it. It’s very sad to see people in our community treated this way. I’ll pray for them

Came out to fix moms refrigerator. The freezer was not very cold. Claims to have replaced two parts, set the freezer and fridge dials, and said not to touch the dials. He claimed that is was fixed. Two days later the freezer was at 32 degrees. It is supposed to be between 0 and 5 degrees. Ice Cream melted and everything. He came back a few days later, readjusted the freezer and fridge dials and said its working fine. And he yelled not to touch the dials. Its fine. But... Freezer was still running too warm. We figured that if you tap hard on it the cold would come on. But, then the freezer got to negative 15 degrees. So, we tapped hard on it again to turn the cold off. For a week, we had to tap it on and tap it off. How can anyone say that is normal and its running fine? Someone else came out and said it needed a new cold control. He diagnosed it right away. So, he ordered the part and installed it. It took a week for the part. But, at least it is fixed now. This new guy said it did not look like anything had been replaced. So, what did Kingman Appliance do exactly? Not really sure. But he didnt fix the problem. They charged over $200, and its still not working. And, he would not research it any further to find out why it still wasnt working. He stood by his claim that is was working fine, when it clearly wasnt. Stay away from this company unless you want to waste your money and get yelled at.The owners response is hateful and highly unprofessional. My mom was not on psychological drugs. I was there on the first visit. My mom was recovering from hernia surgery. To imply she is mental and on psychological drugs is plain wrong.Instead of admitting he could not fix it, he actually BLAMES the customer. Asking for a refund as it appears he did not replace parts as stated. And he did not fix the refrigerator. He is rude about it too. BBB and small claims court because this business cant do the right thing.UPDATE: Mom won the small claims judgement for refund of service call and court fees.

I went to Kingman appliance, after talking with both Chris and James on the phone in regards to needing a refrigerator. I paid $265.00 for the refrigerator to include delivery and set up. Chris informed me that he could do me a favor since I work Monday - Friday and deliver it the next day which was a Sunday between 3: 00 and 5:00 and that he would call to inform me when he was on his way. I never heard from him so I called at 4:30 and left him a voice message. I waited at my new rental until 5:15. I received a text at 5:40 from Chris stating he was out of town until Wednesday. I tried calling James with no answer. So now they have $265.00 of my money and the refrigerator that they did not deliver as promised. I am not a very happy customer at this point. We shall see if I can get my refrigerator tomorrow that I have already paid for.

Terrible place. Bought 1 washer didnt work. No money back just store credit so payed more for second washer took it home hooked it up and none of the spin cycles work. Called to tell them and they accused of me of breaking it. The place and the peple are awful. So many trips and no working washer.

I got a bundle deal for only $7OO.OO !!!I am so impressed by this fantastic family owned business!! They are such great Honest people ! And worked with me !!! ( unlike attwood, peenys, etc I called every place in town !!) They saved all my items until my pay day !! They where in excellet condition very clean and they work fabulous! I got a 3 door fridge pull out freezer on the bottom with French doors on top for the fridgeA dish washer (Newest model ) I got a oven with glass door & Glass topAll matching appliances stainless steel!!!!!A whirlpool washer and dryer glass top one of the new models all matching colors ! (Red)It looks so amazing in my brand new home I am so thankfull and in LOVE with all my Aapliances !!! I have a Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer that stopped getting cold. I had Chris Dement come out from Kingman Appliance, and he said it needed a control. He claims to have replaced the automatic defrost control and the heater coil.However, it never got cold and started working right. I had him come out again finally 11 days later, and he insisted it was working. He adjusted the dials, and said he had nothing else for me. He said to wait 24-48 hours for it to cool down. I had just waited 11 days, and he did nothing more than adjust a dial. What is another 24-48 hours going to do? And it was 41 degrees in the freezer. Obviously something was wrong.I ended up having the refrigerator repaired by Daves and Sons Appliance in Lake Havasu. It needed a cold control that had not been replaced. Not only did Kingman Appliance misdiagnose the problem, he did not appear to replace a thing. THE HEATER COIL WAS VERY OBVIOUSLY NOT REPLACED, AND THE DEFROST CONTROL HAD RUST THAT LOOKED LIKE FROM A FACTORY INSTALL.Stay away from Chris Dement and Kingman Appliance. He stated that it was obviously getting to 0 degrees in the freezer and it was working ok because I had ice being made by the ice maker. Seriously? An appliance repairman should know that ice freezes at 32 degrees, not 0 degrees.I just read the response by Chris Dement. I was not on any psychological drugs! He is an unprofessional businessman who does not stand by his work to try to make things right. He blames the customer as evidenced in his responses to other reviewers. Buyer beware. Maybe call Dave’s and Son’s Appliance in Lake Havasu instead.I just won a judgement in Small Claims court for a full refund of service call and refund of court fees.
