It was a very good experience from the minute I walked in! The young man at the front desk asked if I needed help finding anything: I responded that I wanted to look at a few different items & that I was looking for a kiddie pool. He answered yes & pointed to two stacks/two colours & I immediately said good, great,glad u have them. Will look around & get one. There was another customer who looked at them & bought 1 for his grand-daughter. I took a look around, found a few things I needed. I was impressed that all the young men working there were polite, helpful & happy workers. They checked on me which I appreciated & collated my items to purchase. A young lady was now at checkout & very helpful.I was impressed at the friendly, happy atmosphere & good service. I bought my items, almost forgetting my little pool. I will be back Big 5! I like your store & all personnel. Thank U for being there & for having what we need: Im glad I came in. Made me feel better & will pass it on.

False advertising very rude staff I will never do business there again. They said only the first two shirts on that rack even though they’re all Russell sporting good shirts exactly the same

This place is managed by their Corporate rules in California. They have demanded that people wear masks even when Arizona has a no mask mandate. They say they operate on CA rules. Their Manager is always rude. I bought some sun glasses that broke in one day and their Manager tried to say I didnt buy them there. Theyve always had a policy of trying to hide their advertised one day specials. The shoe staff have worked there a long time and are very helpful. Ive seen their Manager talk extremely demeaning to them and other staff. I wish we had another Sporting goods store in town because I wouldnt shop here due to their rude and lousy policy of trying to keep customers from returning anything. Ive heard their Manager tell customers, We dont have to go by Arizona laws. We are a corporation from California and go by their rules! Some rude comment comes out of the Managers mouth directed at employees or customers most visits there. The locals that work there do a great job but are talked down to in front of customers for no reason other than a power trip. This being said they are the only decent place in town to buy tennis shoes and have a big selection.

Decent prices nice customer service. Military discount. Great selection of shoes, sports equipment, guns and knives. Clothes a well. Definitely stop in here.

Was waiting at gun counter for ammo. There were two clerks behind counter verifying rifle serial numbers. I was ignored for 5 - 10 minutes even tho they clearly saw me. Didnt even say they would be right with me until another clerk came from someplace else in the store and asked if I needed help. Finally got my ammo.

Pretty good place to find sporting goods without having to go to Las Vegas.Store hours are only until 6pm every day though. And for some reason it still says 8 here on Google. So I dont know who dropped the ball, but its kind of frustrating.

Online its posted they close at 8pm last night. When I went to Big5 at a about 630 they were closed. They had a new hour sign glued on the window saying 6pm. How about updating the times online also? Now Im out of luck on a 1 day sale.

I went into their store to buy a pair of shoes and bought two pairs, two bundles of socks and a pair of jogging pants, and got a military discount. They put Walmart to shame.

I am not impressed by this store. We went in July to get soccer cleats the guy who helped us was not very knowledgeable about soccer cleats at all. He struggled to help us. Then kept trying to sell us the most expensive pairs. He seemed offended that we didnt want the $70.00 pair for a 12 year old whos shoe size changes every season. I originally asked him for shoes that were on sale. Why he showed me the most expensive ones first confuses me. We finally found a pair of Nikes that were very nice for $45.00 and worked well.We went again over the past weekend in need of soccer socks this guy tried to sell us regular socks because they were the color we were looking for and same material as the ones we were looking at. We originally asked him if they had a medium all white soccer sock hoping to find the medium maybe in back or something instead of only the small ones we were seeing. He did tell us a truck was coming the next day if we wanted to come back.We had to find the salesmen both of these times we have been there and ask them to help us. In July that salesman was flirting with a female employee. This guy was just standing by a shelf.Last year when we went for soccer gear we had such a positive experience.Both times this year when we went the employees running the register were very kind and seemed knowledgeable sure wish they would of been on the floor helping.

Big 5 Sporting Goods is a Great place to shop for all of your sporting needs. The customer service is great and the selection is off the hook! I went to Big 5 to get prices on a couple items and was super surprised at the low cost of their merchandise. The employees are very knowledgeable and professional, and have very reasonable prices. Selection is small if you dont wear just sneakers you wont find any thing else. I know its a sporting goods store, but we have few places to go, so I went to check it out. Staff was very pleasant and helpful he said they only get nice slip ons once in a while. I will check back like he said because it was such a pleasant place to shop.

Staff was super helpful. Reasonably priced items, even did a little comparison shopping after and online. They are very reasonable!!! We picked up some boots, 2 pair for my bf and one pair for me. Smaller store but good variety considering. I snagged a great deal on a pair of hiking pants, which I almost did not find as they were mixed in with the mens. Outside of the racks holding mens and womens on the same but the sections are clearly different.

Best place in Kingman to buy shoes staff was friendly and patient both my girlfriend and I have weird feet so sometimes it takes awhile to find the right pair but they were patient helpful and gave good suggestions while she found new shoes for new job

They actually listen to what youre asking for and show you the different products that they have that meets your needs and if youre unsure of which one they will discuss the pros and cons with you so that you feel like youve got the best deal instead of just guessing.

Small store, but good staff and selection. There are other options in town for sports equipment, but I find this store less about a trendy look and more about sports and customer needs. Centrally located just off the freeway increases its appeal.

Every time I go there for some sporting gear, they dont have it. No bowling balls or shoes or bags. No frisbees in different weight ranges for frisbee golf. No Throwing darts for dart boards. If you want baseball gear, football gear, canoes, camping equipment, soccer equipment, lawn darts golfing equipment. They have that.
