My husband and I had a great experience at Campers Inn RV in King’s Mountain. Tony our sales guy was amazing and answered any questions we had, even on his days off! Tony was also very knowledgeable and patient with me when I tried to figure which camper I wanted. Hunter our finance guy was very friendly and Larry the service tech was friendly and knowledgeable about the camper. Larry even helped with our break controller when we had an issue leaving on the day we picked our camper up. I would highly recommend going there for your camper!

The place is amazing!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful! Even though we came at almost closing time, we never once felt rushed. The staff is very knowledgeable. They are honest and upfront. We never felt pressured to hurry and make a deal, or pressured to talk numbers. I definitely recommend stopping by to check out their inventory!

Good inventory, helped me solidify what I’m wanting to buy. Lady at the front did not seem excited that I wanted to look at the inventory, maybe because of my age and such. Will likely buy elsewhere where my money is better accepted.

My advice is u better know Exactly what you r paying for before u sign ANY paperwork from all of their departments. Its one big shell game with alot of different departments. Take a credit card with quite a balance or a shoe box of cash. U will need it.

I had an air conditioner replaced on my RV at Camper Inn Kings Mountain and it couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience. Jessie provided awesome customer service and constant updates while we waited on Dometic to send the replacement unit. She even hooked my RV up to power on the day of pickup so that I could test the A/C myself. After hearing all of the horror stories out there of folks having to leave their campers in the repair shop for months, it was such a relief to have not had to experience the same. Keep up the great work Camper’s Inn RV! You’ve set a high bar for others to follow. Thank you.

I called inquiring about one type of camper because my wife and I loved the floor plan, but they didn’t have the make and model available nor was it going to be in stock for another couple months. The sales manager, Danny (I think) told me about another camper with the same floor plan but it was overall, in my opinion, a better camper than what we originally were looking at! I worked with Will in sales and he was great! No high pressure situation, very knowledgeable, and he’s a straight shooter! Bubba was the service tech who showed me how everything works, it was a lot of info but he was very good at explaining things and was very patient with me! I probably asked the same questions a couple times. He was also a straight shooter, and would be upfront and honest with you about everything which I appreciate a lot! I highly recommend coming here whether it’s your first time or fourth time buying a camper! They made the process seamless and not stressful!

My wife and I purchased a 2021 coachman RV from Campers Inn in Kings mountain May 28th of this year. After 2 trips the RV has been at the dealership since the first week of June. More than nice while we were purchasing but service,parts,all are lacking. Multiple repairs, all of which should be covered under the warranty. Left recorded messages saying they have the parts but when we contacted them, waiting on parts. Save your money and time stay away from this crowd!!!

We were very pleased with Shawn in Sales, Bubba in Service and all the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Treated us like family and did not mind at all that we had our dog with us. I highly recommend Campers Inn at Kings Mountain.

We had just bought a new Class A motorhome and were on way back to Texas. We could not get our tanks to drain and no one could get us in for weeks to fix it. We called 5-6 people and all we got was answering machines and of course no one called us back. We called Jeff, the service manager at Campers Inn RV and he said to come on in. He didnt know if he could fix it but he would try. We got there and he put us in immediately and luckely he was able to find the problem within the hour and had us on our way in no time. We went to the lot early on a Saturday morning and the process took almost all day, so I understand why some negative reviews say that no one was available to help them. Making an appointment and going early definitely made a difference, but we would still recommend buying from Campers Inn of KM.

I brought my Fleetwood because I couldnt get anything to work. Gentleman behind the counter ask me if I had a generator at the house? Told him yes he said plug it in my battery starting charging. LOL after that I was able to start my generator charge me nothing for this advice

We came to Campers Inn RV to become educated about what we are wanting to buy in the future and Michael was excellent to work with! He explained everything so well, was extremely patient, and answered all of our questions very throughly. We weren’t ready to purchase today and never felt pressured by any of the sales staff - we can’t wait to return in a few months when we are ready to buy our first travel trailer!

Fast sales poor follow thru.3/30/21I just returned to Campers Inn to see if my camper was ready. It has been there since 3/7/21 after our first 2 day camping weekend. We had a few things broken in our new camper so we returned it for warranty work.I am going to keep this short and spare all the details. We left without the camper.Hopefully tomorrow afternoon???I asked to speak with Wes the head Manager, however I didnt get to. It hopefully has been handled.

My wife and I bought a popup camper from Campers Inn. The experience all the way around was very pleasurable. There was no hassle from any of the sales people while we checked out the inventory. When we found a camper that we were interested in, our salesman Tony made the purchasing process very easy and quick. He answered all our questions and walked us through the process without trying to upsell us on other equipment. Our service rep. Larry walked us through the setup and teardown of the camper numerous times in order to make it clear to us how to take care of the setup and maintenance.Both individuals were very knowledgeable and took care of us through every step since this is our first experience buying a camper. We had a great experience at Campers Inn. I couldnt have asked for better treatment. My salesman, Shawn Mathis was top notch, he took the time with us, but did not pressure us, he just let us know he was there for whatever we needed. The finance mgr. Dan Flanagan took care of every detail and went above and beyond. The day of our walk before picking up our camper, we were taken care of by Tim Wilson. Tim was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything, and even made an adjustment or two that I wanted, and treated us just like we were family. I didnt get the names of everyone, but each person, from the nice lady submitting our financing docs, to the parts staff, and the nice lady at the front door, all really made us feel appreciated. No matter what part of the country we are in, we will always return to a Campers Inn dealership for purchases, and service, just because we had such an outstanding experience in Kings Mtn. First time camper buyers and could not be more excited! We had an amazing experience at Campers Inn RV in Kings Mountain! Gigi and Danny did a phenomenal job of helping us sort out what our needs and wants were for our first camper. They were both so patient with us as we looked through the different models and very knowledgeable on the differences between each one. Once we found the one we loved the process was not nearly as stressful as we thought it would be! When we came back to pick up the camper we were once again amazed at how friendly and helpful the staff was. Larry walked us around and through the camper and answered every question we had! I’m not a technical or parts kind of person but after our demonstration I felt so comfortable about every piece of our camper that I was able to explain everything to our neighbors when we got home. Bought my camper at another Campers Inn location. (VA). There was some issues that they didnt fix. Brought it to Kings Mountain Campers Inn for warranty repairs and every one treated my like family. Took some time for them to get approval from the manufacturer, but they kept me informed and got everything repaired. Stacy updated me on the approvals and Casey kept me informed as to the progress. (Also dealt with Alyssa and Meredith)This service dept. has earned a new customer! Keep up the great work!

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had. Service does not fix things. When they say they will call you. You have to call them because you wait 5 6 weeks are more then you call and every time it’s I was about to call you. There’s no follow up on anything I don’t know how anyone could stay in business that way I will never buy anything from this place againFollow up it’s now January almost February and still nothing the 800 number is a joke no one calls you because no one really cares anyone that buys a camper from here is crazy the customer service is a joke the upper management doesn’t seem to even look at the reviews

So my husband bought a BRAND NEW camper here; I go to take the down payment and am sent to the lounge where I wait 20 minutes while the only person who takes payments? is on the phone. I never got to see my new camper that day because I wait another 10 minutes for someone to find it?? (its being detailed?) the place is not that big. I leave because we are going to pick it up the next day or so I thought but my husband runs our business and he couldnt get it. I spend the next 2 days trying to find someone to go pick it up. While doing that; I am advised that I will be upselled a lot of items if I dont have them so I call and ask if the septic pipe comes with the camper, IT DOES NOT, and complain that competitive places deliver free. (this is one hour before the person I paid is coming to pick up the camper) and salesman says well we couldve delivered it for you and had it set up by now. THANKS!

Just purchased a 2019 Palomino Puma from Campers Inn Kings Mountain, the process was the nicest sales experience I have ever had. Tyler was attentive and not pushy in any way. While looking for our first camper and searching on the internet we found the KZ Escape Mini and Campers Inn RV. We made the trip to Kings Mountain and Campers Inn RV, late one Sunday afternoon, an hour before closing time. Danny came to meet us and took us all around the lots looking at campers that fit our needs. Even though we held him there after hours he was very helpful. After a few weeks of decision making with no pressure from the sales force, we decided to buy the KZ Mini Escape. We made the trip back to Kings mountain and sat down with Kurtis who remembered us from our first trip. We got all the paperwork completed quickly and to our satisfaction. Awful service. Do not buy here. I have a camper from Campers Inn and broke a fan blade. I have the fan to replace it but they will not even attempt to fix it. They are glad to replace the whole air conditioner unit for but wont attempt to fix my otherwise perfectly functional ac unit I will not be back. They will not back what they sell

We knew very little except what we wanted, and he and the rest of the staff were very thorough during our search for the perfect one. He didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t want, but instead gave us all the info we needed about the campers we were interested in and let us make our own decision. Ben, who did our walk through, was extremely thorough in getting us acclimated to the one we bought. We will definitely be making our future purchases from Campers Inn!

Before finding Campers Inn, I shopped around at several other large Camper dealerships and scoured online for hours upon hours for many weeks. Campers Inn had several 5th wheel campers with bunkhouse layouts that I was unable to find anywhere else. Also, their prices seemed very in line, and even slightly below, some of the other dealerships. I went into the store with a very good idea of what I wanted. Austin Page showed me several campers and once I decided on “the one”, he got me out the door with a price I felt good about. He was excellent to work with, very down to earth and personable, and not pushy like a “used car salesman”. He even had a sense of humor! :)I’ve had the camper for almost 2 months now, and still love it! I’ve had a couple of small issues (small water leak (drip) under the bathroom sink, a screw came up through the bathroom floor, small crack in the built in electric fireplace), but Alyssa in the service department has taken care of these issues with no questions asked. Everyone is very pleasant when you call up there and willing to help.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new RV. Ask for Austin!

Dropped off my camper to troubleshoot an electrical problem which they found and corrected inside of 1 week. Great customer service and friendly staff. Outstanding service department!

They did ok ..they were busy and we understood but i got the impression that if you werent buying today we cant help you I explained to them i drove 3 hrs to see a particular rv . i would go back but with reservations. Rv was unlocked and we did tour it all i wanted to do was drive it in the lot or for a short test drive .

I do believe that a honest review will help to improve the process. I bought a 2016 Sportsmen Travel trailer. The sales and administrative staff was excellent to deal with, and all the necessary paperwork got handled excellent. How ever, I was given a appointment on Friday 11 AM, for a orientation and pick-up. I called ahead on 10;50 to let them know that I am running 30 minutes late. When I got there the unit was Hooked up to power and water. All the systems got explained and tested.No battery in the smoke detector. It turned out that the electric water heater was not working and I cleaned out the dead bugs in the roof vents, cleaned out the kitchen drawers from anti freezing liquid while the tech was exchanging the heating element. It took 3 hours what was supposed to take 30 to 45 minutes.The pick-up appointment was set a week before. A system checklist would probably help to make sure all systems are checked and thoroughly cleaned and by the time the customer comes in everything is ready. There was no Dealer prep as explained and no detailing was performed. I am a Project Manager for a Environmental Company, I know leading people to perform takes time and training. But I am still responsible what happens on my site. I hope this will help you to fine tune your process. Sincerely Thomas BTW: I really like the unit.

Not much help with a loan

Purchased a new camper here a year ago and had a good experience very friendly sales staff and parts department. Dropped off camper for service to address a few problems me noticed over the first year of ownership so far had another good experience

We took our camper here, because one of the slide motors broke. They were relatively quick about it getting it fixed (were full-timers, so its the house and you want it back as soon as possible. This isnt necessarily easy for them, because theyve got other customers, too). The customer service was very good, and they let us know different problems that popped up with the extended warranty beforehand, and allowed some other options for us that still didnt break the bank.

Just wanted to give an update on Campers INN. The sales process went with out any issues. The sales staff provided us great service at a great price. If your looking online at prices they will seem a little higher. This is simply due to the fact that they include their fees in the price. Every dealer has these fees. Nothing wrong with it. Now after having our RV for a while we took it into service to have a few things fixed. To keep this short lets just say we ran into a few issues when we picked the RV back up. Now, they could have left us with all of these issues since this was our first RV purchase and first time having it serviced. This was not the case. The regional service manager got into the mixed and honestly did a great job at correcting everything. He went above and beyond. Everyone makes mistakes and looking back at all of these reviews you will see very few complaints about this company, which speaks volumes. Thank you. these issues.

As Newbies to the camping world, GiGi was a wealth of information, and so very helpful, so much so our family purchased our first RV yesterday at Campers Inn. Now excitingly awaiting our first trip. Hooray

We purchased our travel trailer from Campers Inn and had a trouble free deal. Garret was very helpful when we were looking at different units, and answered all of our questions the best he could.When we returned to pick up our camper, they had it set up and powered up for use to do a walk through. Shane worked with us to show us the features of the camper, and how to operate everything and gave us tips on how to set it up and level it. He went over and above to assist us with getting our hitch set up.Dominique rocked too! She was very knowledgeable and helpful in giving us pointers on what to get, and showed us what we needed to do to install the insect screens.

Was very well pleased with the sales men Tyler and the manager Kurtis they helped us every way possible that they could and made it possible for us to buy our first camper for our family! These guys are great!

Campers Inn of Kings Mountain is the best RV sales and service location I have ever seen. We bought our TT there a little over a year ago there and had a great experience. Towards the end of the first year we scheduled a service to handle some warranty work. Knowing how busy RV service departments are, we set aside a month for them to have it (we live in it full-time so we had to make arrangements). Unfortunately, a couple weeks after we got it back a problem reoccurred. Knowing we couldnt afford to be without it for another month, Meredith and Ben in service set up a slot where they would get it in and evaluated and repaired (assuming no parts had to be ordered) on the same day. We dropped it off at 9:00 am and it was completed and ready for pickup at 4:00 pm. Awesome people, awesome service. Thank you everyone at Campers Inn of Kings Mountain. Mike and Linda

The staff was excellent! Me and my husband had a long commute and crazy work schedules and they worked very hard to get us in and out in better time than we were expecting! I recently went to campers inn and traded my 2016 freedom express in for an embrace. We were well taken care of and everyone went out of there way to accommodate us. From beginning to end it was a great experience. We bought our last camper there 2 yrs ago and had a great experience then also. My entire family has bought a total of 5 campers from this place with no bad words at all. Curtis and the whole team is great people. Thanks guys and keep ya heads up because in this world its impossible to make everyone happy!!!

I hate to write negative reviews but this experience was too bad to ignore. We specifically asked if they had a tech that specialized in motorhome AC repair because we have electrical issues with the AC. We were told yes. After a month, their solution was to replace the unit. They obviously never even took off the cover to inspect the unit or they would have seen and/or removed the hornets nest that was half the size of my head!! Our electrician found this in about 2 minutes! We needed the wallpaper fixed around 2 windows. When we were told all work was complete, they had not touched the wallpaper so we had to leave the camper even longer. After their pathetic repair, it is worse than ever. We asked that they work on a noisey window and slide. We were charged but there is absolutely no improvement. They said they replaced the part that holds open the outside door. The supposedly new latch is cracked and they managed to scratch the paint on the motorhome while installing this cracked latch. They replaced the bathroom fan but didnt bother to clean the screen. We wanted the shower surround tightened and waterproofed. It was better before they touched it as some of the button fasteners are now loose that were tight before. Some of the new LED bulbs that they installed have already burned out. Campers Inn provided us with horrible service and we learned a $1,000 lesson to never use them again. Beware! I hope this is not their typical service.

We purchased our first RV - 2017 Forest River Fifth Wheel Toy Hauler from Campers Inn RV - Kings Mountain. We worked with Don and his wife. They were both very knowledgeable and great to work with. Since it was our first RV they showed us almost every camper on the lot to help us understand all the differences between each kind of camper (all while being very patient). We were never rushed to make a decision. We had gone to another close by dealership and left after 5 minutes due to poor customer service. When we walked into Campers Inn RV - we were greeted by friendly staff (and hot dogs and water). When we picked up the camper we had a walk through to show us how to work everything. Overall great experience and we would highly recommend Don and Campers Inn RV.

The are very educated on the products and services they sale and work over the top hard to deliver award winning sales and customer service fit to each individual customers needs. The service department is a misnomer, I believe it is overwhelmed and understaffed I wouldn’t wait for a call back, you can’t even expect that, a common curtesy. Because I was able to express my dissatisfaction with the service manager I will give them one star.after taking time to consider my review,I am aware my judgement may have been hasty,my frustration is not with the service,I like many am frustrated with every thing going on around us and I believe the camping inn staff received some displaced anger on my part,and for this I apologize.the staff is working hard every day,and putting themselves at risk to serve we the campers and for this I say thank you.

Come here twice to look at campers and both times dealt with very rude salesman. I would never purchase from this dealer. I asked about price matching and immediately got a response like I was stupid for asking and they knew better than anyone.

I must say, this was one of the BEST and FAIR ways I have done business. From the start to the finish the I was treated as a customer and not just a $ sign. The own, Mr. John made everything happen he said he would do to keep me as a customer, There is no other RV shop I would refer people to besides Camper INN of Kings MTN!

Dan Flanagan has been the best and most knowledgeable when it comes to RVs and pricing (which is a huge component) he was so reassuring and walked us threw each step of the process. We had some issue of our own to work out and he was always accommodating and understanding. This man is a value to thia company. Dont waste tour time going to camping world when you got this mom and pop place who give you straight forward pricing and great customer service. I am back 4 years later to leave an additional 5 star review. We went back to Campers Inn Rv at Kings Mountain to upgrade yet again. We worked with Will and he was fantastic. Not only do they have qulity campers, but Will was able to work with us to find pockets of time during our busy schedule to make sure we got what we needed for our family. Bubba also did a great job with our walkthrough detailing everything we needed to know. Hunter made the paperwork process quick and painless.

Went in and got taken care of and approved same day. Thank you Gigi Hogan and the guys for helping me.

My wife and I purchased our 2014 Coachman Toy Hauler Travel Trailer from Campers Inn in Kings Mountain NC. From our first steps onto the property we were treated like we were old friends. This was our first camper purchase so we had a lot of questions. Everyone at the dealership went above and beyond to make our buying experience as painless as possible. our salesperson, Dave Gibbs and his son were awesome. There was never any pressure from them, they made sure we had everything we needed and the whole sale took no time at all. Adam, the service tech that walked us through the camper was simply awesome. We felt as if we could rebuild the whole thing if needed due to how thorough he was. I cant say enough great things about Campers Inn.
