Salley’s has changed their reward program which no longer really helps me. Now today they wanted to charge me 0.15 for a bag to put my stuff in. Nothing special about Salleys anymore. I can easily go to Target or Ulta near me or can order online. I try to support local as much as I can but sometimes some places makes it more difficult.

Shew the attitude when you walk in the door is ridiculous! Oh they seem nice and welcoming but they are not! Attitude needs adjusting!

I spend a lot of money at Sallys because of all the females in our family 🤣😅 and on occasion Ive been advised by an associate and it didnt work out, but working at Sallys doesnt automatically make you know everything about hair products, but because of the return policy it was never a big deal. Until now, two short haired women were working on the morning of 07/09/21, I brought a product back that didnt work (it was aprox.14$) well when I made the purchase I spent over 30 dollars so the lady threw a bag of masks (that I didnt want and didnt need) and said they were free, except that they arent if you want to return something, them you have to pay for them, by only getting 5 back on a 14 dollar product, and they were rude about it, she had a tone the whole time, I told them they should let someone know when returning that way they can say no thanks to the free item and she was like, well thats the way the system works, and I said yes but you could let people know, she was just snooty,(the short red haired one was ruder then the other one) I will never shop here again. Just so you know there are other places you can get hair products in kingsport thats cheaper.

Really great service, the girls who worked here had color on their hair and were very knowledgeable from experience. I came here after visiting the Bristol location, bristols location had awful service. These girls were helpful and didn’t make me feel embarrassed at all. 10/10 recommend.

The employees were friendly and they had what I came for. I went to the register to pay my $35.00 for my products and the clerk asked me if I wanted a .15 bag to carry my items. Are you kidding? You people can’t afford to give your customers a complimentary bag to carry their purchase? That’s really just pathetic. Laughable, except it’s just so greedy. Who on earth thought that was a good move?

The manager & staff are so so kind. they helped me so much numerous times. i definitely recommend going here for ANY help. i love this place, it’s my go to for anything!! go here before anywhere else.

I have been there for 3 weeks in a row to get a bottle of the icon leave in conditioner that works really well on my hair. But ever week it will be here on Thursday we drive 18 miles to get it and to find out that they dont have it...so now we will call before hand.

I have been trying for about two years to get my box dye black hair back to my natural blonde. I’ve been to salons who have DESTROYED my hair and to the “stylist” at Ulta. Today I went to Sally’s. Today I went from box dye black hair to blonde with MINIMAL damage. These girls know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about. I cannot believe my hair right now. I am so impressed with the knowledge the works have it’s beyond words. I cannot thank them enough for their assistance. I will forever and always return to Sally’s whenever I need anything or have any questions about the care for my hair.Thank you all so much!

Prices are way too expensive plus they gave me wrong price advisor tell me nail buffing thing for like a dollar something and they turned out to be like 5 and $7 for each one all in all ended up spending $120 in there for what should have not even been close to that

As a customer I expect a salesperson to inform a customer when a product is non refundable before you make a purchase not when you are trying to return it. This store is $50.00 richer because this information was not disclose at the time of purchase. I was told it’s disclose on the back of the recipe that. Uh excuse me sales person if you know this tell the customer before you take the money and give the customer the receipt because by that time it’s non refundable. Bad business for this Kingsport store.😡. I’ll travel else where for products I may need in the future.

Very limited supplies. Would like to see more nail products, like nail brushes, acrylic powders and gels, and gel polishes. Also, would like to see 80-50 grit files. The employees are always so helpful and friendly.

I love this place!!! Great color selection!!! Employees are always so helpful!!!! When reading the other posts...its not hair dye...that is what you get at Wal-Mart. It is color. Employees are always willing to go the extra mile for every person that walks thru the door!! I cant wait to revisit.

Ive always had servivice at this store but im really dissapointed this time i went to get dye for my hair iasked the girl to help me pick out a lighter color for me hair the one she picked was dark looking i asked was she sure this was a lighter shade she said yes it know have jet black hair im so upset

The only thing I buy at Sallys is hair dye. It is reasonably priced. I can usually make out of there spending less than 20$ buying all my hair dying supplies. A few things I dont care for is the last time I was in there the girl that was assisting me was a little too arrogant when it came to the products. No I may not know as much as someone that works there, but I am not an idiot. She was insisting that I have naturally blonde hair because my roots are lighter brown than the rest of my hair, but it just wasnt worth the argument. I know my natural color. Lol. She was just trying to be helpful im sure. I do however like their weekly specials. Sometimes I can find the dye I use on sale 2 for 1. They do have a Sallys rewards program but it cost money, and I only shop there every other month.

Staff was not helpful. I was not spoke to, nobody offered to help me, and ignored me at the register until she brought someone else up in front of me. Stood at the counter for 15 minutes and even then, the worker tried to bring someone else up in front of me. Store had not finished stocking so getting to the products was difficult, but I got the product I needed.
