If this place were an escape room and all I had to do was go out the exit door in less than an hour to survive: at least Id die happy. Definitely not enough book stores left, glad this one is still around. I could spend days there just sniffing pages and draining my checking account.

Books A Million has seemingly always given me a reason to shop there. The Kingsport location is top notch, with friendly helping staff, and a nice drink area. When I volunteered with a local special needs adult reading group, they provided us a place to read together and always were very accommodating. Nice job and keep up the great work! Other Books A Millions could model from this one!

Its a Books-A-Million: no matter what I do, I just cant leave the store without spending money. Associates at this location are generally rude and unhelpful. They want you out of their face ASAP. Nonetheless, I still come to this location as they sometimes have inventory that my Bristol home store doesnt.

The store has a great selection and fair prices. We really enjoy being able to order online and pick up in store. I love that they have a decent selection of metaphysical books and decks as well.

I was looking for a cookbook and when I asked the lady for help finding it she looked at me like I was speaking a language she didnt understand. I repeated it and she just kept looking at me. After a few minutes of awkwardness and her seeming very confused, because I asked for a book, I told her to nevermind and went home and ordered it on Amazon. If you want to keep customers you probably should hire people that know how to help customers.

Ive been going to this books a million for several years if you need a book get it here because they are super helpful from finding your book down to helping you order it. The coffee shop is also really great and knowledgeable, if you dont know what to order ask for some suggestions from them you wont regret it!

I prefer Books-A-Million over all of the other bookstores in the Tri-Cities, TN. Its always well stocked with the classics as well as the contemporary writers works. Staff has always been extremely professional and helpful when any questions or special needs situations have arrived. I Definitely recommend.

One of my favorite places to be. If you are an avid reader this place offers it all, coffee, or cappuccino while book shopping. If your not so much an avid reader you will still love it, plenty of other things to browse besides books

First time visiting and went for a kjv bible very disappointed in selection of those.

When I go to pick up a book or books that are holding for me, they pull them as soon as they see me walking in. Its a great feeling to be remembered when so many people visit the store. They try to help me get the books I love where they order them, hold them or find out when they should be arriving at the store. Thank you so much BAM!

I hardly ever shop at BAM but this past Christmas I went by there for my mom to purchase Christmas books for the kids in the family. That part was great! They had plenty of copies of what I needed because I was looking to buy 6 copies of said book. However, the checkout experience was not very pleasant. After spending $70 on books I was basically tricked into signing up for a magazine subscription. So anybody shopping there that this hasn’t happened to please BEWARE! I’m sure the employees are trained to be dishonestly signing people up for these magazines so I’m not blaming them but they will tell you they are free trials and you will get $10 coupon if you pick 3 magazines, they give you a card that in the tiny print tells you that after your 2 month trial they will charge the debit card used during transaction. I’m sure that covers their butts when people find out about being charged for these “free” magazines so I just want to warn people from the customer’s point of view. I understand business and up selling but this is just dishonesty. They have definitely prevented me ever going there again considering I was not even using my own debit, I was using my moms who had sent me to pick up her items. I was very aggravated by this. So people if you shop there just Please be careful and Make sure you are 100% sure of every single detail in what you’re signing up for!!

Lots of books. Staff always friendly and welcoming. The books for future educators are virtual non-existent, so you will have to order online if you need a reference book of a particular subject.

Most of the time if you cant find it, the staff can take you straight to it or they will order it.

Always has the same atmosphere when I go in. Calm relaxed and peaceful. Probably my favorite store of all. You can stay here all day and no one cares.

ABYSMAL. The most dysfunctional website on the internet. The option of reserving material to pick up at a store doesnt exist, despite their claims to the contrary. A web business that tries to run like a brick and mortar shop. (If theres a reserve button on the site, I cant find it on a smartphone or tablet.
