Friendly staff, clean environment and overall great experience. I came in as a visitor and they welcomed me in as if I had a membership. Will definitely be my home gym when I come back in town.

Great place to work out.

This is my second day at Lifestyle Fitness and I LOVE it!! I tried the Candlelight Yoga class last night and it was amazing! I slept all night and woke up with absolutely NO back pain! This specific location has plenty of equipment including all the fun stuff such as racquetball, volleyball, basketball, and specific group classes. Their rowers even have water in them which is awesome! All of the staff including the instructors and David are super friendly and are so helpful if you have any questions or need assistance with any equipment. I would highly recommend Lifestyle Fitness to all of my family and friends!!

Ive never been there before - I go to the one in JC - Is there anything different than my one in Johnson city?

Great place, Great people who work there. The only down side it’s that they don’t have an area for floor exercises in the evenings. That space is rented out to a gymnastics class. Got kicked out of the area before on a Saturday by the lady who rents the room out.

Facilities seem fine, 4 stars because they didnt tell me their 24 hour facilities have a cost of $29/yr for an extra key fob and no apology or acknowledgement anything was wrong with that.

The gym is alright. The people that work in the gym are friendly. Problem is I signed up over the phone with Carol. I only did this because I remembered her from when it was goldstar. Well I tried to cancel my membership and she said I had 7 more months on a year contract. Over the phone that was never said or I wouldnt have signed up. Ive been going to gyms for years and never singned a contract for any set period of time. I treat facilitys and equipment like it was my own and respect the people in the facility. I was tricked into a contract over the phone I never would have signed. Im 40 and have never signed a contract before and was not about to start now. They wont let me out of it and I really just dont think thats appropriate to do to a long time gym goer who one day might have come back. Now Ill never have anything else to do with their facilities agian and will urge others not to do so as well. I told Carol Id write a poor review and she said Id be lying if I did but thats simply not the case. I only signed up with her over the phone because I went there when it was gold star. And as far as the facility in colonial heights apex is right down the road and is cheaper with better equipment. The gym I just came from for 25 dollars a month is just as good minus a racket ball court. So the gym is ok but not great anyway. Bottom line I think is if she meant to do that or not she did it. Maybe by mistake but I shouldnt have to pay for her mistake in not mentioning it was a year contract over the phone when I gave her my debit card info to charge. And then a week or so later I sign the papers that I really didnt feel a need to read because I trusted her. So let the paper work take precedence over humanity if you like. Good job handling a customer who went to goldstar for years and no doubt in the future would have put more money into lifestyles and referred members.

I always have a great time here and David is always so helpful he goes out of his way to help me understand better about each machine..

Enjoy the Colonial Heights location. It is convenient and not crowded. I get to work out with my son and my wife too.

Easy and Convenient to get a quick workout in, and its typically not too busy either.

Looks like great facility. Will make further rating when I use it more

Thank You Stan Pace and the Owner of this gym for shutting out the long term charter members with more than double rates....I went in to renew and found my rates had doubled...being a member since1994 Im saying goodbye and hope you greedy people are not successful..
