I usually come here to returns my bottles. I arrived at 7:25pm and they locked the back doors before I could get out today the car. I call the store and get told they close the bottle return area an hour before the store closes to clean up. It’s not listed anywhere that they do this. Honestly they could of waits 5 more minutes and do my returns and still had an hour to clean up that area.

Fantastic selection and Josh was amazingly helpful. You can easily get lost in here for an hour or more. Definitely one of the best beer selections Ive experienced in NY or FL.

Always like looking here for something different or interesting. If you want something but not quite sure what all you have to do is ask the staff and they will point you in the right direction. Total bummer is there are no tastings due to COVID-19.

Nice selection of beer and ciders. A little pricey but some of the beers are amazing. Wish they had more single beers and let you make your own four and six packs. Definitely worth stopping in and grabbing some beers Ive never tried.

Just moved back to NY after many years/miles, and thankfully this was the first place we happened to stop at before moving into the new house. Good selection with decent price.

Really like the Wall of Taps where you can sample before purchase. Enjoy being able to fill growlers. The selection is pretty extraordinary. Only downside, twice those helping me couldnt speak well to the tastes of, for example, a sour beer selection since they hadnt sampled/ didnt drink. I enjoy a purveyors viewpoint. But all in all a good place to stock up for a party or just pick up one or two for after work.

They have an unbelievable amount of beers from all over the world, and the staff is very friendly. Sometimes service is slow, which is understandable when theyre busy. But they have been slow at least twice without almost anyone in the store. Thats why they only get 4 stars out of me.

I worked with Tor to place a large beer order for my rehearsal dinner and wedding after-party at Stone Tavern Farm and the process could not have gone smoother. He was so easy to work with and everything was delivered on time for a good price. He even made some beer suggestions that we went with that ended up being huge hits. I’d highly recommend this place.

Had somehow never heard of this place, but stopped in when I was driving by to check it out.And it is expansive: Probably not much smaller (if smaller at all) than Spare Time and with a pretty comparable selection. Plenty of new stuff, plenty of the standbys you expect and what was actually one of the better import sections I’ve ever seen.Pricing is a drawback, though. Things were on average $2-3 more than they’d be other places. Not a huge deal if you’re just stopping in but may give you pause if it’s your regular store.

Great selection of beer and accessories. Cheap good quality beer glasses. Many international choices and an awesome beer cave. Huge selection of single beers to create your own six pack. Staff is helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

There is another place called Beer universe and it bothers me more than it should that Beer World is bigger.That aside, its a great place. Its very clean and they have a million beers youve probably never heard of. The staffers clearly love beer so theyve tried a bunch and make good recommendations. You can come here to learn more about beer than you thought there was too know! Highly recommended!

The best beer selection with some really knowledgeable helpers. Hands down an alcoholics paradise. I could spend all day in there. Also they let you try the beers they have on tap, many of which are hard to find. They are the bees knees of boozer hut!

Always a stellar selection. Not just local beers and ciders but a truly amazing selection of German, Belgian, and large bottle selecting of all types of beers. Dont forget about growler fills, singles, and great case selections. This place truly has it all now adding a home brewing section for your needs. Prices are reasonable for the selection offered. You wont get a deal but you will find things you cant buy everywhere.

Mu husband and I used Kingston Beer World for our wedding, and we were beyond floored with this place! We went a few months before the wedding to pick out what drinks we wanted, and Tor helped us with everything. Even up to our wedding day, Tor was there to answer all of our questions and he was SO easy to work with. Guests loved our beer choices, and we couldnt think of going anywhere else other than Beer World for our wedding!

Impressive beer selection, in terms of geography, price range, and beer type. Theres even a tap to fill your growlers. The wide variety and inventory will keep you coming back and trying new drinks. Very hard to argue with a good spot like this in a busy commercial center like Kingstons Ulster Avenue.

Excellent selection of nearly any beer available in the US, and what is not in stock the staff I have encountered have been eager to try and accommodate your request. Good rotation of kegs on tap for take home growlers and in store samples add another feather in their cap for those whom have draft systems at home. Great all around store as the name implies!

Aaaaahhhh-mazing beer selection. Staff are available to give you suggestions because theres a ton to choose from. You can make your own 6 packs from the outrageous number of loose bottles from what seems like every brewery possible, buy some of the regular fare for the less adventurous, or visit the growler bar for some of whats on tap. Some of the staff was less enthusiastic, but most offered a pleasant and polite experience on my visit. In all, a definite must for beer connoisseurs or anyone looking for a change of pace in their beer drinking.

Great products at fair prices. The tap beers in growlers are awesome! They were the only one on the area that could get me Guinness in a sixel or I may not have found them. Always friendly and willing to help find special stuff. Full stock of brewing equipment too. Great spot.

This is the best beer store that Ive ever had the pleasure of shopping at. The selection is amazing. The service is top notch. Most of the staff is very knowledgeable. If I had to pick a negative, its that some of the staff is clueless about craft beer. Additionally, the taps with free samples is reason enough to stop by on a regular basis. Lastly, if you want quality beer on a bud light budget, but arent too picky, youll almost always find something on sale. Great job beer world, keep up the good work.

Nice selection of beers from all over. Sometimes lacking in some of the rarer or harder to find bottles, but for this area, the selection is hands down the best. Homebrew section is small and sometimes understocked, but is nice if you are somewhat flexible in what youre after. The true highlight of the store is the great lineup of taps for your growler fills.

Dont judge a book by its cover. Despite its strip mall location and bit of a box store look this place has legitimate beer inventory and staff to match. It carries 20ish taps of well curated draft for growler and crowler fills along with (they report) 3500 can and bottle selections. Regardless of the number they do have pretty much ever brand a connoisseur will seek and a staff that can guide you to your next favorite beer. Prices are fair and even if something is a few cents more I want guys like this to succeed for the area and our palates would suffer without them.
