Ice cream is amazing! But they get two stars because of this situation..... I ordered a cone for my daughter of cotton candy hard ice cream. I asked for a very small scoop and a bowl on the side. They handed me a cone with a humongous scoop of ice cream, which normally would be great . Well the second she touched it with her tongue it fell right off. I got back in line for 15 minutes and explained what happened and she charged me for another scoop. Then when handing me the replacement I payed for she told me “I’m not surprised that happened. The cotton candy is really soft tonight “ I have never ever had anyone charge me to replace a child’s dropped cone !! I would have been just fine paying for another had it been our fault.
The only reason this gets 4 stars is because they dont have black raspberry hard ice cream (my #1 favorite)Would love if they added that flavor to the hard ice cream as well as adding sliced almonds or regular walnuts!The frozen custard is as smooth as frozen whipped cream. The creme brulee flavor frozen custard is so good.The staff wear masks (THANK YOU FOR CARING) and are friendly as anything. :)The sundaes are good and VERY big for the price. They take cards and cash :)
Did you know this is the Most Popular Summer Cooling Off spot in the area? Josies is THE BEST! They have custard ice cream, shakes, Italian Ices, Sundaes, in many flavors and sizes!!! The best lately is the Black Raspberry Shake! Oh, it is just SUPERB! Come check it out. Be ready to queue with the nicest people in town. They also have the BEST Staff! Rain or shine, this place always has a line... that moves quickly though. LoL.
I think the idea of gelati’s is very nice! There custard is delicious and our family owns over 10 gelati jars!😂
When we visit family nearby, we always stop at Josies! Large variety of flavors of ice, but my favorite is the ultra creamy frozen custard. Prices are so reasonable - my family of 4 had medium size desserts for under $13! Crazy good prices! Cute outdoor tables for dining, too. Just wish there was a Josies in NY where I live.

I thought the girl working Monday night 08/23/21 was rude. she messed my order up twice. she gave me a small instead of a medium and my kid a medium instead of a small. instead of letting him keep the medium she threw it away and made him a small. I just thought this was wasteful.

They have some good dairy-free options that are very affordable, but some of their ice flavors have too much syrup in it, to the point that Ive had to throw some orders away that were just too syrupy and sweet.

This place was amazing! Went for the first time last week. My sister recommend we go. Got a cute little jar to keep (love jars!) from my ice cream! And tried their mango CBD icy (very good may I add)
I love their custard so I thought I would try a shake. Got a black raspberry shake it was not a milkshake I have no clue what they put in it but it definitely wasnt black raspberry ice cream .... Im guessing it was soft serve and some try of super sugary syrup ... do not waste 4 bucks on the shake it was too sweet to drink and was thrown out after one sip my wife try it and agreed it definitely wasnt a milkshake. However if you want custard they do have one of the best...

We go there every so often and its not far from home. I had numerous sundaes and other things like the banana split even though they over flow it but still it was ok. I guess we have to be a slob every once in a while. I tried something different last week. It was the strawberry shortcake and was really amazing. I got my boyfriend a chocolate milkshake in the jar but that turned out good for him cause he couldnt drink out of a straw because he had a tooth pulled out. But overall we were happy with it cause its not far from home. Dairy queen and curly creme is farther from here. The prices are reasonable and alot of great choices. They have social distancing but I also heard there is no social distancing at curly creme but not sure of the other one. I would recommend anybody to go there. Very nice place and their employees are great. Thank You for serving us.

Absolutely delicious. We ordered about 5 items and the cost was really low too! You can get take home glass jars also. They literally have 50 flavors. Awesome!
Horrible ...to be honest they were closing early even though we called to make sure they were open . As we were pulling in. They also begrudgingly filled the order which was a larger order. You would think in this time when we are all struggling to make money this business would care more . They also short filled the containers and when called out on it they said that is what the way they do it truly between the staff and the manager on duty need retraining
Really great local ice cream place. They have some of the best ice cream Ive had. The prices are reasonable and the potions are pretty generous. You can tell they are good by how many people will be getting treats there on any given night. If there is a line I would just wait in it. Overall I highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Love Josies! Friends dont let friends eat Ritas! Awesome custard with rich flavor. Friendly staff and nice sitting area to watch traffic and enjoy ice cream. Parking can get a little interesting if theyre busy, but its totally worth it.

This is my favorite place to go! I go at least once a week. I highly recommend the watermelon gelati, which is pretty much my definition of a refreshing summer treat. My moms favorite is when the featured custard is chocolate peanut butter - so creamy and delicious! Their custards are smooth and creamy, and their ices are crisp and refreshing. The service is always great too - friendly, knowledgeable staff. They offer a large variety of flavors for hard ice cream and italian ice (which they make), and each week offer 3 featured custard flavors, in addition to always having vanilla & chocolate. They also have sundaes, banana splits, shakes, and flurries. Highly recommend! A+++

Its a new discovery for me! Not a fan of the Italian ice but my husband always enjoyed it there. I was a frequent visitor of DQ. I discovered that they had custard cones, sundaes etc.Im now a frequent visitor of Josies and enjoy my Strawberry shortcake sundae and even better their Banana Split!!

This place brought me back to the lemon ice stand I used to visit with my dad. The ices are breathtakingly good -- all of them, and theres like 30. If you dont stop by this place when youre in town youre really missing out.
I have been a customer of Josies and in the past found the service and quality of the service to be very satisfactory. That changed tonight. I arrived and there was one line and two windows open. When I was next in line, both windows had customers being served. When one window opened, I stepped up to it, waiting to be served. Three customers in the adjacent window were served while I was left standing there, even though two people were working. I figured, well, they didnt want my business. So I went to my car and drove several minutes to a nearby Ritas, where I was served when I stepped to an open window. Needless to say, it was my last trip to a Josies.

Im addicted to Josies cannoli ice cream! It has pieces of cannoli shell and mini chocolate chips in it. Their Italian ice is very good too. My son and I like their watermelon and root beer ices. The staff is very friendly.
