Don’t buy here unless you drink your alcohol quickly!!!We have been customers for years. We have bought for ourselves, for gifts, and for numerous charitable events. We have never returned anything or complained about anything. I bought a bottle of Amarula which, when I opened it, turned out to be rancid and congealed. It took 3 calls and a detailed email over a number of weeks to finally get a response from a manager. I was told in a very condescending manner that, as it had been more than 30 days since it was purchased, there was no possibility of a return, exchange or refund. She explained that that was state law. I told her that refunds are store policy not state law. I pointed out that we have been customers for years and never returned anything. I also pointed out that we often don’t open alcohol for more than 30 days because we buy several bottles at a time and don’t consume it immediately. She told me she didn’t care and that if I took my business elsewhere that would be fine. She also refused to have the owner call me. Proceed with caution.

I only like sweet wines and I can get it here. Its also located conveniently just off Broadway. Plenty of room to park and very nice people work there.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I came into Miron for the first time, eager to purchase a particular wine their website listed. When I saw they were out of it, I went to ask the three women sitting up front, in an empty store, talking, to see if they perhaps had a case of it somewhere in back. A young woman came over to the shelf with me, I pointed to the place where it had been, and she stated what I already knew--that they were out of it. I expressed disappointment, having driven 9 miles to the store, and this young womans response (in quite a loud voice) was you should have called to find out if we had it. I then asked her, politely, to lower her loud voice, and she unwisely escalated the situation, telling me I had attitude (!--clearly unaware of the attitude in her blaming comment, clueless that to tell a customer you should have called ahead is itself an attitude). She then refused to serve me, wanting to somehow get back at me for asking her to lower her very loud voice. Unfortunately, an older woman in the store enabled this employee, rather than teach her how to handle the situation properly. I will never entire this store again,, and I advise you not to, as well. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Good selection of wine and liquors (not the lowest prices) but really poor customer service. I asked to put two bottles of wine on the counter while I kept shopping. The employee barely looked at me and said “I guess so” reluctantly. With so many other good wine stores in town, I won’t be returning here.

Easy access liquor store with very reasonable prices. Parking is easy because theres a huge lot and many of the businesses around Miron have closed shop. Liquor collection is decent but not expansive. Its very easy to find what you need, pay a good price, and get on your way. They have a rewards program for frequent shoppers.

I love going to Miron Wine & Spirits because they always, always have what I like. Their staff are right there to help you and if they dont have what you want they will give you other options. They truly are very knowledgeable about the products that they sell. One more thing they have a lot of Liqueurs that no other stores have in our area. They simply are the best.

If youre not sure what you want, looking for something different? Ask a sales representative and they will point you in a better direction than you would have gone yourself! If youre looking for a refreshing sweet summer wine, I recommend Muscat Sally. Made by a local vineyard (I havent visited, just read the label).

The best place for wine in Kingston for sure. Nobody else in town can match their selection and their prices are great! I always try to stop by on a Friday or Saturday when they have tastings, it’s an easy way to try new things!

I had one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had in this store. I have been here many times but unfortunately things have changed. When I walked into the store I couldnt find what I was looking for so I asked the woman at the front for a particular type of wine (Gruner). She said she didnt know what that was and rolled her eyes and yelled to the gentleman who was working the floor. He was helpful, however, when I proceeded to check out there were two women there (including the one that rolled her eyes), both didnt bother to look up and were texting on their phones. When we put our three bottles on the counter she seemed irritated she had to do anything. I had 2 cups from my wine samples that needed to be thrown away and when I mentioned it was trash she began to scold me. She laid into me about how rude I was being and that I shouldnt expect her to throw anything away and that I should ask her nicely before shell agree to do anything. My friends and I were polite and were completely appalled by her behavior. I will not return to this store. If the manager is reviewing this its the woman who has a lip ring. The store was empty when I was there for a holiday week. Telling.

If they dont have exactly what you are looking for, they will try their best to help you find a great substitute. You wont leave unsatisfied.

Im not from the area and just stopped in for a gift. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, even an employee who just stopped in took his time to offer his advice. Terrible selection and very hard to find what youre looking for

Every time I go in the store, the male employee on register is always rude to my and other customers. He refuses to help me bring multiple cases of wine to the car, or makes his female employees do it. Ive since changed liquor stores after more than one unnnnnnpleasent experience.

Lazy staff, I show up evidently right when the store closes (maybe Im old fashioned but if your Open Sign is lit up then youre open). I knew exactly what I wanted, I would have been in and out. To who ever the owner is of this establishment your Blonde Haired Male employee with the pony tail is lazy and has no interest in making you money I guess. Some one else was happy to get paid though.

Perfect spot to get your cocktail party and liquor needs in Kingston, they have the best low, mid and high-end options. We never really get wine here as its more mainstream and there are nicer natural wine shops in town, but they have all of the right things when it comes to rum, whisky, tequila, vodka, gin and so on. They even have nice vermouths, so you can always make a perfect negroni.

Sales staff was super helpful in helping me choose the perfect alcohol for my needs. They were friendly. I cant speak to prices. I dont buy the stuff much.

Staff knows nothing about majority of the products. Was given a gift certificate to come here, got up to the register and the man proceeded to search through envelopes of receipts. Took him about 15 minutes to search for the receipt for the gift certificate and said “I’m sorry I can’t find it we can’t honor that there is no manager here” absolutely pathetic. Will not be giving my business to place that can’t even keep track of their own business.

I bought some wine on close out and when I subsequently told them it was bad out of the bottle (I wasnt asking for a refund just trying to advise that they shouldnt purposely put bad wine on sale even if it is a close out) they, including someone identifying himself as the manager, were really nasty. When I told the manager that he just lost me as a customer he hung up on me. With an attitude like - since I cant be the only unhappy customer - its amazing they stay in business. There are plenty of competitors in Kingston who are probably eager to have my business.Go at your own risk.

Terrible. Simply awful excuse for a human being. (The owner that is) if you are cursed enough to have the horrible experience of being in his presence before 1pm well get your Napoleon repellent ready cause his short angry alcohol withdrawalling mouth is just something that no normal human being should ever have to deal with. Aside from his pathetic bullyish ways and the higher than normal prices the parking lots kinda clean.

Probably the largest liquor store in Kingston. They have a wide variety of everything at all price points. The odds are that youll find what youre looking for there.
