Wonderful club for sailors of all levels. It is especially great for those just starting to sail as the classes (accredited) are excellent. Also great for those looking to race on Lake Washington. The fleet is kept in great shape. And as a member it is literally hop aboard and go thanks to the online reservation system. Julian, the owner/manager is fantastic and runs a very professional operation.
Fantastic club with boats ranging in size from 22-30 ft, all in very good condition. The club caters to wide range of sailors from beginners to experienced alike, with educational classes being held throughout the year. Super easy to secure a reservation using their online system. A very positive/social atmosphere.
If youre looking for quality boats, and quality service, in a prime location, then look no further. Kirkland Sailing Club has been such a fun and exciting way to experience my local waters. The club even offers top notch classes if you need help getting started, or want to further advance your knowledge.I highly recommend them!
If you’re looking for a great community of people to sail with, look no further than KSC. Highly recommend the basic keelboat course if you’re a beginner or need a refresher—Julian is a talented and experienced instructor who will set you up with all the tools you need to start sailing! Reasonable fees, great deal for folks like me and my partner who don’t own a boat but still want to get out on the water!
Great club with an outstanding group of people. I learned how to sail with Julian, the owner, and the community he nurtures among the club members is very unique and special. I was welcomed with opens arms by other members and have learned a ton from the more experienced sailors in the club. Top notch instructors, easy access to the boats, and always plenty of people to sail with, to fine tune skills, learn something new, or simply to enjoy spending time on the water with family and friends. Highly recommend - the experience has been life changing.
A great place to learn sailing and join an active community of sailors. They have events for every season and are very welcoming.
Excellent experience. Boats are well maintained. Instructors are knowledgeable and friendly. Boat reservation system is easy to use and ensures you can show up to the dock and expect your boat to be there. Lastly, the people you meet in the club are an amazing group! You will not be disappointed.
