Cute place. Has wonderful selection. You can always find a nice gift for a friend or yourself here. I can spend hours just relaxing if I had the time.

Great neighborhood book shop! Chris is most helpful and ever so knowledgeable. He always has a book to recommend and suggestions for any reader. Book Tree also has a wonderful selection of childrens books! Books can be also be ordered!

This is a fantastic store and Chris (the owner) is an immensely knowledgeable, wise, and friendly man. He has a very special store and I strongly recommend a stop at this bookstore; the best I’ve come across in Seattle.

This place has ambience of an old-time bookstore with lots of interesting books you dont see in the new-time bookstores or online. The sales person is funny and helpful. Prices are great. This was my first visit and I am definitely returning. Oh, also a pleasant walk from the marina.

Great book shop owned by the proprietor who works in the store. He is full of knowledge about authors and latest books and will make recommendations for you. It is not a chain, and deserves our support. Try it.

Local bookstores are the best and every time I come here Im here for far longer than I intended to be. The owner will order anything that isnt on the shelves and is always happy to walk around with you to recommend good reads.

Excellent independent bookstore with a quality selection in that small space. Its one of the few bookstores where you can find work by local poets, and it regularly hosts poetry readings with open mic.

This is the kind of place I think about when I imagine a book store you can spend hours in. Great selection, organized intuitively enough, and the guy at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable.

Very nice shop, friendly employees, and many really good prices on books--even cheaper than Amazon, in many cases, which is particularly surprising because of the high-end neighborhood in which it is located. A wonderful kids room can be found in the back.

Once entering the store, the owner was very friendly and helpful. They would get 5 stars, but we showed up at 11am on a Saturday and no one was there until 11:15. Having walked there from downtown Kirkland, this was very inconvenient.

Fabulous performance by Debbie Dimitre, professional storyteller, doing the premier of her newest Women in History series. This one was Bertha Landes, the first woman mayor of Seattle.
