This dealership would be my second one ever going to. My very first one was not a pleasant experience for me unfortunately. I came here looking for a family SUV with good miles and overall a decent vehicle. Done the pre approval stuff online and received a phone call the next day from Jim Brown. Jim understood my needs and worked with the financial department to get my husband and I approved for a car. We live in Iowa and we were in the area and decided to take a look at the other cars while waiting to hear back about the approval. Jim came in on his day off after finding out that we were there looking at vehicles that they had. Went test driving with me for a 2018 Chevorlet Equinox AWD LT. My husband and I fell in love with the SUV. Jim and the financial associate pushed to get us approved and at a decent monthly payment. Jim also was very sweet and sat with us while we waited for everything to go through. We were able to drive home in a new much needed vehicle. I also wanted to point out that they had a decent inventory of vehicles and were quite busy. Thank you Jim Brown for helping us getting a vehicle that was worth everything that weve been through since starting this journey. Highly recommended this dealership that doesnt want to haggled and wants to be treated like youre part of the family.

Misleading and nearly painful. Ill contrast it with a visit to my MINI dealer earlier this month. First of all, when my appointment was set, the MINI dealer already knew what my car needed because the codes could be accessed by the dealer. I have a feeling GM can do the same thing, but doesnt. Kirksville Motor Co. also did not explain they were not able to repair the vehicle that day. Their system is to diagnose the car, give an estimate, and then work on it at a later date. This is very inconvenient, especially if you have a job.Now lets talk about the waiting room, since we were not offered a loaner car, as I was at my MINI dealer. Sparse, uncomfortable, sitting in dirty chairs looking at nearly empty accessory displays, country music blasting. It had all the appeal of a repossessed house trailer.After we were disappointed by the dealerships service procedures, it was agreed that I would be contacted when the part was available. I was not, they called my husband, at a number that they were specifically asked not to. Then he was told that they did not have any GM certified mechanics available during their regular service hours, and they must have a GM certified mechanic to preform the work. This did make both of us wonder what kind of training those who diagnosed our van actually had.My husband received this call on Tuesday the 11th and I write this at 6:00 p.m. in Thursday the 13th. Apparently, Kirksville Motor Company has not as of yet been able to locate a GM Certified Mechanic. It does not seem that they ever intended to call back.My husband and I have owned many cars, had them repaired at almost every type of dealership that sells cars in the U.S. This has been one of our worst experiences. At this point, we will likely see about having the van repaired at a real GM dealer. Treating people who buy their cars new like customers at a buy here, pay here junk lot does not bode well for the future of Kirksville Motor Company.

Drove 4 hours to buy a truck. Told them in advance no financing, paying in full if we liked the vehicle. Got there and sells manager was very rude and didnt even look our direction. Sellsman was okay but not overlyfriendly. They didnt even try to make a sell. We left with no vehicle and money and went somewhere else and bought. Waste of time driving all that way for nothing. Wont go back!!

How far would you go to get the car you want? For me, it was from Austin, TX to Kirksville, MO! I couldnt find the Toyota I wanted within a 500 mile radius of Austin; and I didnt want to compromise on the things I wanted (color, options etc.). Sure, I could have ordered from a local dealer but it would have cost more and I had to wait longer. So I reached out to Kirksville who had exactly what I wanted! Working with Randy Cowen and Bill Vaughn was so easy and a true pleasure. We did all we needed to do remotely, I flew to Kansas City, MO and a lovely husband-wife team brought the car AND the paperwork to the Airport for me! Best car buying experience I ever had! This company needs to be more customer oriented. We have had our car (2016 Chevy Malibu) in this certified dealership a total of 4-5 times now. All due to different issues with the car, The first Two being their fault for not properly fixing the vehicle, which was initially a simple kind of recall, and then assuming it had to do with my pistons, it lead to an unnecessary engine replacement, luckily and willingly paid for by the company in their mistake. Upon saying that, it was not fixed. After this last and hopefully final time getting the car towed back to the dealership, we were informed they had bypassed the issue, a module going out, so we could drive it and they could get their loaner car back. Well unfortunately we put it in reverse and made it 2 feet(Not joking) and the car started popping up codes,And then... the engine shuts off and won’t start. Well after confronting the service manager, we were finally given another loaner. Two weeks later we receive a call the the part still isn’t in but they would like the loaner back, after telling us they now have to charge us $1k for the NOW issue. When I called them asking for a estimated time for the parts arrival, they said” we haven’t gotten an update yet, it will be a few more weeks” how hard is it to call their suppliers and ask for a date ? So now, no vehicle and no part . With “no loaner available” We have been put into many tight situations with this company.Just a side note also the one star rating before this one was my father in law which also had his vehicle-worked on from a recall... Which initially wasn’t fixed, and led to a charge of the recall .. 2 newer vehicles same household seems as if there’s a trend.... wouldn’t recommend this company. From my personal experience, 0/10

We saw our vehicle driving through the lot on Monday evening. Called Tuesday talked to Kaine about the details of the vehicle and told him we wanted to see it and asked if he would hold it for us till we got off work. He said absolutely! When we arrived he was busy with another customer, but had 4 different people say they would help us until he was done which was awesome they did not make us wait and ignore us. Then looked over vehicle took it for a test drive with Kaine, and decided the deal was better than we had found looking around at different dealerahips online at older models with many more miles on them. Kaine, the manager, and one finance person stayed until 8:30, 2.5 hours after closing time to finish the purchase of our vehicle. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff all around.

Purchased a vehicle from KVMC and it was awesome working with Niki! I totally recommend her! But will never buy another vehicle there as I just had a service done and asked to have the oil changed. After it was finished I was told two recalls where done (totally fine) my oil changed (great) and they rotated my tires(🙄). So I just said thank you and signed for it. After driving it the last few days I noticed my car was shaking and contacted them about checking it out! Niki got me right in quickly! Then I was told I had to PAY money to get my tires balanced because I have to “ask” them to balance them when they rotate the tires. But I didn’t even ask/tell them to rotate the tires.

I bought a used car from them that had no factory books with it. I told them I would like to have them since they are alot of electronics on the new cars. I was told they would get them and send them to me. After waiting for over a month, I called them and they said the person they need to talk to was not there. It has been 2.5 months still no book or call. I hope the car is alot better then there promise. So Im going to order and pay for them myself. Update. I just received the factory books in the mail. Very poor customer service. Very poor service and repair department. Had our vehicle for repair just sitting there for three weeks. When we got our vehicle back 4 weeks later it was not washed, inside nor out. Very disappointing after leaving it there for 4 weeks. We also got a loaner truck. When we returned the loaner truck back to them and they were trying to charge us money for gas for no reason. They are not affable either. We had to “babysit” then and call them everyday even though they said they would call us to let us know what was going on and what was even wrong with the truck in the first place. Very very disappointed. do NOT get your car/truck serviced at this dealer they will screw u over PERIOD.

Not the greatest experience. Ive come there on and off just doing window shopping for a new Toyota, and I can tell that looking and not buying is frowned upon. They should be happy to have some window shoppers because it could get them positive publicity as a store. Also, the prices are very expensive in general. The facility is nice, though.

My sons car broke down while out of town and used this dealership. The two parts to fix the car were $80 each. He was quoted 600 to fix the car then when he went to pay for the car they added another charge for an additional diagnostic check. His total bill came to $780. Better to tow your car home if in that area!

First off these guys had a great selection of trucks to choose from. That got us there. When we arrived at the lot we were greeted by a manager first and then a salesman named Steve. Steve turned out to be the best thing about this place. He was so chill and easy to talk to and made it feel like he was just a knowledgeable friend there with us to help us make a decision. This is a no haggle company so you either pay the price on the car or you don’t but there’s no stress involved in haggling. It was worth the drive and we’ll come back when we’re ready to buy again!

I bought my Wrangler from these guys 2 years ago, and decided to snag a lengthy warranty. I had an oil leak recently and had problems with my 4 wheel drive. So luckily the warranty covered the oil leak, but they told me that my 4x4 cable had snapped. Im not a certified mechanic, but I know a decent amount. It had just been too cold to get under and check. So I assumed since certified mechanics were the ones diagnosing this, that they would be right. WRONG. I also told them when I dropped it off that it could potentially be a tiny bushing that costs $1.50. They told me naw, its totally the cable, which will cost about $500. So they fix the oil leak, and its finally warm enough to check myself. Guess what the problem was? You got it, that damn bushing. I used a zip tie to hold until I got a new one. Now I understand its easy to miss things, but seriously? This is a very common wear item. They didnt even take the time to remove the center console (took me 30 min making sure I didnt break anything). My point is that if they tell you its not covered by your overly expensive warranty, have it checked by a friend or personal mechanic.
