I was at Walgreens in Kirkwood today, and had the most incredible guy at checkout! He didn’t have a name tag, but he was a tall redhead, with amazing customer service skills!!! Thanks for hiring this guy, Walgreens! Your ratings might really go up if customers experience this guy!!!!!

Came for a scheduled COVID vaccine for 11:30 (showed up 10 min early as requested on website). Walked up to consultation window to inquire the steps for getting the vaccine. I was told by the young female Asian pharmacist to just get in line as she pointed to the 8-10 other people in chairs waiting. I stood and waited as names were called. At 1142, no one else was waiting except me. I went up to the counter again and said, Ive been here over 30 min and Im still waiting. The young girl working the registered said, well, did you sign in?What???? This started a tense discussion about my disappointment in the instructions given to me. NO ONE APOLOGIZED! No took ownership for poor customer service not even the manager. I was mad, understandably. They became ruder! I sat and waited, when leaving I asked for their names. They refused to provide them.I later asked a store manager to provide names. She left to get them & never returned.In addition the pharmscy did not have available VIS after giving me the vaccine. These are required by law!

A female that works here was extremely rude to me. I guess she was going on her break and was standing by the cash register talking to other employees. I didn’t know she was in line to check out a few items. After she very rudely made it clear she was in line I apologized. She gave me a nasty look and mumbled under her breath. It was an honest mistake. They should work on being nice to costumers.

Not sure what is going on here. Store seems to be pretty understaffed, which isnt the end of the world though unless someone in front of you is buying way too much stuff for a walgreens... Also, the freezer seems to be broken for about four months now, guess they dont plan on fixing it, very odd. Other than that, its a normal walgreens.

Diane refused to scan my PayPal cash barcode and add money, even though she was fully capable of doing it. She just didnt want to figure out how to do her own job. Every Walgreens is able to reload PayPal cash, including this one. Dianes attitude and flat-out refusal to do her job were shocking

Good store and good ways to save money. I do though miss the days of when they had a small snack shop or sandwich shop right inside the building. What was so good was that if you were waiting to get your prescriptions filled, you could go to the sandwich shop and have coffee while you wait. They should bring that back. And for the music, these days, kids like the music that to many of us older people feel is just plain old rubbish. If you understand the lyrics, some of it might sound a little suspicious. Trying to settle the issue, its a game of he said/she said, where its hard to believe on who is telling the truth and who is lying. I am trying to get them to get an organ and have me be a volunteer organist that would be playing during the daytime due to that is when our senior citizens shop. What does make that store sound so grand is that I am one of the very few customers that is willing to speak out for our senior citizens that shop there. Like I say, its a good store, And another positive approach is that photo finishing is going even faster thanks to much newer equipment. Now if corporate remembers to deliver everything to that store like they are supposed to, then we would be ok!

I put in my prescription a day in advanced and when I went to pick it up there was apparently an insurance issue I was never told about. All the lady had to do was change one thing in the computer and it didn’t involve me at all. Then she said it would be 15 minutes. I waited 30 and then came back and was told the pharmacist was at lunch so it’d be yet another 15 minutes. 10 minutes later I get a call saying they’re out of the medication I had waited a whole day for. They suck! I heard them tell two other ppl in line they were out of their meds too. Just go elsewhere they do NOT care.

Most amazing customer experience ive had in a long time thanks to Jennifer at the make up counter. She happily helped me find my tone, give me info, helped me pick out brushes, etc. The whole time she made me feel welcome and acted really happy to be working. Also, her makeup was on point! Thanks Jennifer, you are fabulous!

Staff cant handle multitasking and has no desire to be thoughtful or efficient. Very poor customer service. Not sure what happened because things used to be good, but now theyre pretty terrible.

Terrible service, got an appointment at 9:40, got there on time, waited till 10 before they came out, 2 nurses were laughing and talking in their room. They told me I needed a guardian and to get one there (understandable, it’s their policy), got one there in about 10 minutes, told me they had another customer and the wait would be 15-20 minutes. My father and I waited for 40 minutes, and he was not asked for anything, he sat there in the waiting area the whole time even when I went into the checkup room. He was not even asked to show id, could have been any random person. After that, the 2 ladies checked me out and it took about 15 minutes. There was no need for 2 nurses there. They didn’t tell me where to pick up medication or what it was so I had to go to the counter and ask. Waited another 15 minutes for them to “write up” the prescription and give it to me. Terrible service, waisted about 2 of my time that could have been 20 minutes. I’m so disappointed, day ruined right there.

Staff is nice here, but they are very lazy. They do not do any more than the bare minimum, meaning allowing lines of customers to pile up and pile up. Various employees will walk past and just say, “not my job.” I would not suggest this Walgreens. Very impressed. They don’t even reply back on this page! Shows how little they care...

I have used this Walgreens for almost ten years but their services has extremely deteriorated! Long wait times all the time, not filling medication on time and even wrong medication. I went to pick up antibiotics for my baby on Friday and was told they are out of stock and should wait until Monday! Don’t they understand the urgency of the need for such prescription? Worst of all they had the wrong antibiotics for me. Thanks God CVS is around the corner. You’re not giving us free service anyway!

Have been a customer here for years, and service has declined as wait times have increased. Today, the manager ‘Kenney’ refused to honor an advertised sale (in circular and on the tag on the shelf) because it didn’t come up in the computer. I showed him the tags and the ads and he could not have cared less. I’ll be moving my prescriptions to CVS- customer service is much better and I rarely have to wait. Just all done with this store. If someone from Walgreens sees this, Kenney at the Kirkwood MO store could use some customer service training.

I ordered a photo on a wood panel and I go to pick it up I open it to check it because the last time I ordered a panel there if there are huge air bubbles in it. The girl in the photo department Lauren was acting like she was drunk I dont know if she was extremely tired and I open it up to look at it and its a complete mess the edges are poorly done theres marks on it. I comment that its awfully done and another girl says shell redo it after 4 tries and completely messing up all four of them they basically told me to pick the best one and Ill give it to me half off. The best one still looks like a complete mess, it is so poorly done I want to cry I dont want to give this to someone for Christmas

I have had a few issues with the pharmacy at this location. One time I came to pick up a $125 prescription in the drive-thru. They filled the wrong dosage and since I paid for the prescription it was too late and I was short on medication since I had to take 2 pills vs 1. Most recently I had a prescription to fill on a Monday. I was leaving to go out of town on Friday. By Friday they still didnt have the medicine and couldnt tell me why it took over 5 days. With me going out of town I was without medicine for a week, and I called twice during the week to find out the status of why it wasnt filled. Another time they could only fill half a prescription and I had to go to 2 different locations to get the monthly prescription to be filled.I am not sure why the pharmacy cant get it together...staffing, client volume, etc. It is disappointing.
