Dave is really helpful and knowledgeable. I went into the shop after not bowling for years and told him I wanted to get back into the game and learn to hook the ball, Dave not only informed me on the selection he asked asked a lot of questions before recommending something and he explained in detail why he recommended certain balls based on my play style. He drilled the ball perfect and gave me pointers on how to hook the ball. After a few weeks I’m now consistent in hooking the ball, getting higher revs while having consistent speed because Dave was spot on with the recommendation of the call based on my play style. He also DID NOT try and up sell he was honest and told me what I needed even got my fiancé a ball and she’s bowling better than ever thanks to dave recommending a heavier ball for her. Overall fantastic shop and great experience, will definitely be coming back to get another ball to add to the arsenal!

The staff takes there time to find the right ball for you. No matter the price range. Happy sell you the ball that fit your needs. When they drill your ball they make sure it fits correct and are very thorugh.

Dave is GREAT he doesnt try to sell you the high price equipment. He is very honest about all equipment. Very nice and helpful would recommend DAVE 100% no matter what level bowler you are. worth the drive

An amazing place. The worker wanted to find the perfect ball for me he didn’t care about the money or try to sell me a very expensive ball he cared about me being comfortable with the ball I chose. Awesome place and awesome people I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Dave is amazing. Mike is also alright. The other man really cleans the ball well. I had all my balls drilled here because Dave or Mike give good pointers that will help you decide on how you want your ball react. Great team.

I cant say enough good about this place. Granted, I have only met a handful of PSOs in my life, but Dave is everything you could ever ask for. Hes not just a knowledgeable professional with decades of experience (which he is), hes also a genuinely good person who cares deeply about the sport and wants to see each of his customers succeed. That great attitude manifests in every single interaction you have with him, no matter how big or small. And, the prices are fair to boot!If youre anywhere even remotely near Kissimmee, and you need anything bowling related, youd be a fool not to come here.

Lightning strikes is a great pro shop. After being out of the sport for many years due to an injury, they made it easy for me to walk in and get set up again. They knew their products and, more importantly, took the time to understand what I needed. They gave me advice on what to buy, made sure the fit was right before I left, and have easily made adjustments as needed over time.You can buy bowling equipment in many different places, but the expertise that Mike and Dave offer makes shopping here a no brainer. They have lots of different price points and will work with you to find exactly what you need. And If youre looking for for one-on-one coaching, the lessons are a great value.

Mike is awesome! He has helped fit me with bowling balls in a fast, easy and cheap manner. I will definitely be coming back here for all my bowling needs, I suggest you do too!

Dave was great, but mercy, its present location is nearly impossible to spot! There is currently no street sign, and the shop is part of an auto repair garage. The place is next to a CVS pharmacy and across the street from an Auto Zone, but the store front is barely wider than the door, which does have a sign over it. I passed the place about four times, but I only found it after calling.

Great pro shop, incredibly knowledgeable and willing to help. Recommended me a Motiv Jackal Ghost and had it drilled within 15 minutes for a great price. You cant go wrong here.

Ive been bowling recreationally on a weekly basis during our lunch break with some co-workers and figured with how often Im going, I might as well buy my own shoes instead of renting them for $3, which I ended up buying from Lightning Strikes. I was able to find the same shoe online for a couple dollars less, but being able to try it on in the store and supporting a great local company was worth the extra few bucks.After some more time, I figured I might as well start getting serious and get my own ball. I walked inside of Lightning Strikes inside of Colonial Lanes and decided to check it out and ask some questions. Mike was extremely friendly and helpful and pointed out some of the great deals on used balls. Since we were in the middle of a game, I figured Id come back on my own after work.MIke had recommended a used ball that would be a good fit for a beginner like myself. He then took the time to analyze my hands, take measurements and drill the holes. Not only that, he then spent some time with me to ensure that I would be able to properly use it and even showed me some new techniques for making an approach on the lane, and how to properly hold the ball.In my opinion, I feel that I definitely got my moneys worth. Ill be going back to get some lessons in the near future.This is the only pro shop Ive ever visited so I dont know how others compare, but Lightning Strikes has definitely set the bar really high.
