Great atmosphere. Very clean location. Staff very friendly. Food and cappuccino was amazing.

Ill start off with the positives: very clean, excellent, polite staff, crepe was very delicious, and the price was pretty good. We also tried the coffee but were not qualified to comment on the coffee because were not coffee experts, Ill leave that part of the review to those people. The omelet was okay, not bad, but not special either. However, the sweet bread that accompanies the omelet was done perfectly.

It melts in ur 👄 Would’ve given 5 stars if they wouldn’t have forgotten my cheese on my 🥓 🥚 🧀 🥯 and they took very long for my coffee!!! Other than that would definitely recommend!!!!😍😍😍

My girlfriend and I love this place. Is a hidden gem everything is delicious. The staff is super friendly and welcoming the decor is very nice and the place feels way bigger than what really is... the bathrooms are super clean and for those who always need to hear something negative in a review this is for you.. in my opinion the hand dryer in the mans room is the only draw back because the water lands on the wall and makes it look not clean??? But I assure you this place is as clean as it can be..prices are very reasonable and the cafe con leche is delicious... will be back very soon for many years to come. Wish I could give you guys 10 stars. Thank you !!!

DELICIOUS! So many pastries to choose from and it seems all are a hit. The Tiramisu was perfect. Coffees are also a rave. There is amble space inside to keep distance from others. A couple tables, sofas, and high tops make the restaurant a perfect place to relax and have some cafe. A must try hidden gem when in town.

Today was our first time. A friend of mine recommended the place. I have to say that we LOVE it! The food is delicious, the coffee is AMAZING, the staff is super nice and friendly. They even made Frappuccinos for my kids, even though they didn’t have it in the menu.

Save your money… go to Starbucks or Dunkin instead. Got a frozen coffee that tasted like just ice, water, and a splash of coffee and a protein smoothie that was literally ice and the smallest bit of protein. Absolutely TERRIBLE … like I’m in shock that you would sell this to people and expect us to drink it and get offended when we don’t like it… both drinks were literally undrinkable. The pastries were also pretty lack luster, tasted old . They def don’t make things fresh fresh.

Everything outstanding! Just don’t get why Google identifies them specifically as lgbtq friendly only. They’re friendly to everyone so I don’t see the need to specify. Unnecessary and non-inclusive notes. Everyone should check this restaurant out, it’s great!

What an amazing find. Upon entering the place, I was very impressed with the modern and comfortable seating arrangement along with the bistro ambiance. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered all my questions and made recommendations. The young lady who is clearly in charge is charming and hospitable. She moves like Flash and seems in tune with everything thats going on around her along with the fact that she is the one who makes all the specialty coffee beverages.They have quite a varied menu to accommodate a wide range of palates. I had a Macchiato and my wife had a cafe au lait. Both were expertly made. We both had omelettes with a variety of vegetables, turkey, and Swiss cheese served with brioche bread. Absolutely delicious. I humbly highly recommend this place. Thank you to everyone at Machhoato for a perfect combination of great food, awesome coffee, and top notch service.

Omg! I got this place recommended by Facebook and I had saved the address... so after a long morning servicing my car, I had to eat and to my surprise it’s like theee mi Jets away from where I live, what a Gem! Loved the service... the waffles with Nutella and berries are out of this world... I ordered two without knowing they were so big lol 🥴 the three egg omelette was divine...and the coffee as well, great clean place to have breakfast, good vibes ...quiet and peaceful !

The coffee and food was absolutely amazing loved the decor and the service! The omelet I had tasted so amazing and so fresh! The desserts were definitely my favorite part so cute and you can tell so much thought was put into each one also loved that there were so many options and selections!! A place called Macchiato and they can’t even make a proper coffee, espresso or latte, let alone a macchiato. The food doesn’t make it any better. I am quite surprised to see the positive reviews. This place is a disappointment.We ordered French toast, waffles and pancakes with blueberries.The French toast was made with French baguette but that’s it....bread only. Where is the French toast batter, the powdered sugar, the butter, the whipped cream?They called to say they were out of waffles so they substituted with a pancake. Well, don’t expect anything with the pancake as advertised. And, these pancakes tasted like they were made with those “just add water” mixes.Customer service...Just a complete nightmare.

Overcharged me and couldn’t tell me why. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that was 2.99I asked for bacon instead of the ham.She said the total was $6 and change. Confused I asked why. She told me the bacon cost more. But didn’t tell me there was an up charge when I placed my order. On the menu a side of 3 slices of bacon is $2.39So how was my order over $6 when I’m subbing out the protein ?Refusing to answer my questions and giving me a sour look, i decided to leave. I won’t be back and i go to the gym next door. Will make sure to share my experience with everyone there.

Its a cute place to try in BVL. I wouldnt go out of my way to come here but if in the area its worth stopping. Prices for sandwiches are just right and coffee has a nice presentation. In a very Latin influenced area, they try to be a traditional coffee house which might be confusing to some but refreshing for the area.

Charming place, with a kind staff. Only complaint is that wait times for food can be upwards of 30-45 minutes for a normal breakfast.Do not come if you are in a rush, but you shouldn’t be going to a sit down cafe/coffee shop if you’re in a rush anyways!

I tried 2 times to give this place a chance but each time I come they will not give me good service, the first time I came 20 min till closing but they didnt attend me because they claimed it was 9 min till closing. The second time I came 30 min b4 closing and they claimed the kitchen was closed AGAIN, just go to TAINOS BAKERY, they will make you a big sandwich even if its 10 min to closing . 😒

Excellent coffee shop!!! We had the “Tripleta” sandwich with sweet bread and it was very good in taste, preparation and size. We also tried a few desserts and latte and they were freshly prepared and had great taste as well. The ambiance is nice! Staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with the overall experience ... needless to say It’s highly recommended 🥰 (first time visiting)

Really good! Prices are decent for breakfast. Coffee and pastry prices are excellent. Sandwich prices are a little too high considering that they cater mostly to puertoricans (myself included) but they use quality ingredients like premium churrasco. Atmosphere is A+, jazzy music is A+, service is B(very friendly but need to improve on logistics and ordering), cleanliness A+ and quality of coffee and pastries A+. Awesome to have them in the community! Will definitely go back especially for their coffee and pastries!

I absolutely fell in love with this little hidden gem. It was very clean and in compliance with COVID-19 CDC guidelines which is extremely important these days. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience, friendly staff and great food. I ordered a small cafe latte and I wished I had ordered a large one because it was delicious. Hands down one of the best lattes Ive had. The only negative comment I would post is that the food service was quite slow so if youre in a hurry Id order in advance. All in all, I will definitely be coming back with family and friends.

You get that nice feeling of being welcome thanks to the friendly staff. The atmosphere of the seating area is like being at home. Everything on the bakery display its worth trying. I like the variety of the menu too. I would be very happy to visit anytime soon.

Really did not want to be the one to not give a five star review but all things must come to an end. The environment and vibe were exceptional. I was very impressed with how clean and organized everything was. And the reason I went was for the coffee/latte and I was very satisfied. So so good. I wanted to turn around and get another one.The only downside was the pastries. However, it wasnt me to give a sharp negative reaction but my Latina girlfriends family, whom we bought the pastries for. They did taste a bit old to me but I thought they were fine. However, her mom was not pleased. I lost a few brownie points because the pastries were not fresh and the cake was thrown away. I will be back for the coffee, but I wont be surprising her family with pastries from here any time soon.Also, the staff was very friendly.

This place is great! Every time I come the staff is always very pleasant and welcoming. They have the best bread Ive ever had in all my 23 years on this earth. Everything Ive eaten felt like it was made with love. And the environment is like a home away from home kind of feel. Would definitely reccomend!!!

We were greeted in a professional way. The pastrami sandwich on the media noche bread served with garlic pita chips are so delicious. Their coffee was so good. Had a strawberry cheesecake tart that was out of this world. You have to come & try this new bakery. They speak, English, Spanish & Arabic.. Clean & beautiful environment.

I found this place by chance, thank god I did. It was one of the few places that were open. The restaurant setting is very comfortable and relaxing. They have a wide selection of desserts and sandwiches. And the Iced coffee is to die for. The owner is very sweet as well as the employees, I felt very welcomed and special. I will be going back for sure.

The trees leches was the best Ive ever had. Imagine a gooey butter cake texture with a thick heavy cream. Also got the flan which blew my mind and the carrot cake was fantastic. Cant wait to try the coffee and rest of the sweets. The owner was very kind and friendly as well.

I come from Argentina where the pastries and cakes are unbeatable. This bakery is pretty satisfying after trying other places in town! Their cheesecake is the real deal and I loved their chocolate (dark) tres leches. Ill be coming back for sure!

We actually love there food👍This review is for todays customer service the lady who took our order was very unprofessional when I called to notify they gave us the wrong sandwichMy husband ordered in spanish and asked for turkey ham when he came home they had given him oven roasted turkey sandwich. I proceeded to explain to her that I have been ordering the same thing for 2 months and the same sandwich with no issues and she went on babbling and not even listening and had the nerve to tell me ‘ im letting you know so were on the same page’ she should have said this is how its ordered or just bring the sandwich back and we will change it.Just saying when you hear turkey ham its a cold cut, oven roasted its hot oven turkey.Well sorry you lost a customer that would by frequently and buy alot. Total deception!!!
